Having traveled to Portland from San Diego to visit our toddler granddaughter, we were in a bind. My sidekick is Milo, our mini bernedoodle. He goes to the dog park twice a day and has yet to meet a dog he didn’t immediately adore. Honestly, having a friend in the house is his dream scenario, so your pup would be doing him a favor. Your dog gets two dog park trips a day, a playmate who never runs out of energy, and photo updates you didn’t ask for but will enjoy. I’ll treat them exactly how I’d want Milo treated - safe, spoiled, and pleasantly worn out by bedtime. My schedule is built around dogs already, so adding one doesn’t change much. I’m home all day working, so your dog is never alone for long stretches — just a friend at my feet while I work, with breaks for play and attention throughout the day. Milo and I hit the dog park twice a day, morning and late afternoon, and your pup comes along (or gets a neighborhood walk instead if the dog park isn’t their scene). Meals, medications, and potty breaks run on whatever schedule you set — I’d rather keep your dog’s routine than impose mine. Evenings are calm: couch time, a little play, and lights out at a normal hour. Weekends look the same, just slower. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. I provide a secure, pet-friendly environment where your dog can play, relax, and feel at home. About: I have grown up with pets and even found my first job working at an animal boarding house. You could say I learned to become a professional dog walker at a young age. I have two high anxiety dogs and have been working on their social skills and coping methods to help their anxiety. I work full-time from home but take frequent breaks to let the dogs go out and play and take multiple walks a day to give them exercise. Weekends are mostly free to cuddle and to play with the fur babies. When house sitting or boarding pets I stay close so they be taken care of as needed. I keep my own pets on a schedule feeding, potty breaks and play with puzzles to earn treats. I will follow clients care guidelines to maintain consistency and keep them comfortable while their owners are gone.

About: I grew up with animals always around, dogs, cats, and birds, but am not ready to have one of my own again at this time. I work from home so will be available to your pets at all times. I have a big fenced back yard to play in. I limit stays to 1 household at a time to ensure everyone is familiar and comfortable with eachother. I am comfortable with pets of all ages and experienced in administering any medicines needed. I do live with a partner, while he is an animal lover too, I will be the sole sitter for your pets during their stay. I really look forward to meeting your fur babies! I work from home so I’ll be available at all hours of the day. My workday usually starts at 7am but that is highly flexible. My house is small but I have a large fenced in backyard and am usually okay just keeping the door open for pets to go in and out as they like during down time. I prefer for your pets to stay with me but if you need me to come to your place that can be arranged. I will respect your home and your home’s safety however you deem. I’m here to help you and your pets feel as comfortable as possible while you are away

About: I’m a current foster home for the Troutdale shelter. I’ve taken legal cases and regular foster cases until they are adopted. I love all animals and just want to help those in need. I currently work from home so I’m able to care for your pet all day. I’m able to play, love on them and walk them. I don’t have a fenced yard but I’m able to walk your furry friend or crate them. However you want them to be taken care of.

“María is the sweetest soul! she did such a wonderful job caring for my puppy Bones. he came back wagging his tail & ready to go to bed! she got all his energy out! Bones struggles with very very bad separation anxiety, & maría reassured me from the start that he was in good hands & would not be left alone. which has been a struggle in the past with previous sitters. Bones can also have some behaviors like jumping on people or the counter tops, & she did amazing setting that boundary with him not allowing him to hustle her & get away with being a menace! María kept me updated and sent me pictures quite often which i really appreciated! She made Bones & I feel comfortable & confident with our decision to go with her. she is so lovely & i would recommend her to anyone who may be worried leaving there pup w someone they don’t know!
