About: All services are offered in Oregon. For Washington folks, I can offer boarding your pet in my own home but I do not travel across the river. I have over 1/2 acre of fenced yard and I am home all day giving your babies my full attention. Caring for your pet is my full time job. I have owned two senior border collies that I trained since they were puppies. I have personal experience training using only positivity and clicker signals. I have also owned 3 senior cats that I've had since they were kittens. I no longer have any pets in my home and looking forward to spending time with yours! Your pet will not be lonely with me. I will play tug or fetch with your dogs. I am happy to use a crate or cuddle with your fur baby on the couch for nap time. I will be happy to brush your cats and spoil them with catnip and chin scratches. I will keep their rountine to make them comfortable and give them plenty of engaging activities to keep their mind sharp.

“Finding the right fit for taking care of my two older chihuahuas was very stressful, until I came across Julie and Barry. Firstly, my huge requirement was that they had no dogs of their own and secondly, that they would only have one client at a time. That is not super easy to find. And not only do they fulfill both of those requirements, but it is two people instead of one, so it's an incredible amount of care and attention that is given to any animal that they might care for. One of my pups has some pretty major anxiety and Julie knew just what to do with her. She turns on her heating pad and cuddles up on the couch with her, and I can tell that they are very loved while there. And though I know my pups don't like being away from me, they very obviously feel safe and comfortable with both Julie and Barry. They also have a wonderful place for the dogs to be when outside. Our pups are going to board with them soon and we feel 100% comfortable with it, and excited that we have found Julie and Barry. Besides taking great care of the pups, they are lovely people and we have enjoyed getting to know them.”

The pets in my care will be treated like my own and receive top-tier care. I work from home, so your pet won't be left alone or crated all day. I am insured, licensed, and certified in dog training and care. I have a fully fenced backyard (6ft tall vinyl fencing), baby gates, and x-pens to keep dogs out of unwanted areas or keep dogs separated. I enjoy capturing pictures and videos of the pets in my care doing various activities and am willing to send you updates throughout their stay. I'm starting my own in home pet care and am home with your pets 24/7. Everyday the pets in my care are let out for a potty break upon arrival or in the morning, before coming back into their separate spaces to have breakfast (if boarding or parent's brought breakfast). About an hour (time to let their food settle) after breakfast we go out for another supervised potty break, depending on the weather we'll stay outside and engage in some supervised play or come inside and do some enrichment activities before enjoying some down time to relax and reset. If you have requested a lunch for your pet, I'll provide a safe and quiet space for you pet to enjoy some lunch between 12pm-1pm. After letting their lunch settle( between 1pm-2pm) we'll go back out for a supervised potty break and some more supervised playtime, enrichment, or go for a walk in the neighborhood. I live in a house in a quiet neighborhood. I have 2 pet friendly dogs of my own, a husband, and a 16 year old son. I am licensed, insured, and certified in dog training and care. My backyard is fully fenced (6ft tall) with security cameras all around the outside. I also have baby gates and x-pens to keep pets separated if needed. I have poop scoops and a bucket for quick and easy clean up, pet safe/vet approved sanitizer to keep things clean/sanitized, pet first aid supplies, toys, enrichment/training equipment, a dog run, kennels, water bowls, a sandbox for digging in, swimming pools/sprinklers and air condtioning for hot days, and plan to add more outdoor equipment for a more fun and enriching time. Your pets will be treated like one of my own.

Her yard was beautifully maintained and provided plenty of shade and sniff spots and toys to keep them entertained. She sent me several photos of them during our 3.5hr outing, including her cuddling with the clingy pup on on her couch. I highly recommend her!
This daycare with Emma has been such a god send to me. I have a 15 lb hairless chinese crested dog who was so lonely after losing his best friend (my forever dog). My dog loves big dogs and he’s found this little tribe of friends at this daycare. I love that they encourage the dogs to work as a “pack” as it really provides structure to the day vs other day cares i looked at where it was doggy lord of the flies. I really appreciate the flexibility with bookings, communication is always top notch - and the peace of mind knowing while i’m grinding away at work or whatever adult thing - i know my dog is being cared for, bonding with his pals, and being loved on. I also appreciate that at Emma’s daycare all dogs play together - when i looked at other options my smaller dog would have been grouped with other small dogs but he truly wants to run with the big dogs- and due to Emma’s daycare he does that here and it’s awesome. This daycare really has been such a blessing to me and my dog and helped us move forward after a major loss of the older dog.

Jessica took great DAY CARE of our ten month old Havanese over 4 consecutive days. At the end of the first day, he smelled as though he had been given lots of cuddles and every following morning he was excited to arrive back at Jessica' house. He received daily walks as promised. I recommend Jessica and would use again when back in the Camas area.
