About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve had family dogs growing up and had a dog of my own in my early twenties, so caring for them has always been a part of my life. Around 2020, friends and coworkers started asking me to house sit while they traveled, and that’s when I realized how much I genuinely enjoy caring for other people’s homes and especially thier pets. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities... from tiny Chihuahuas and miniature Poodles to Huskies, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans. I’ve also spent some time with cats, hamsters, bunnies, and lizards. Unfortunately I have retired for caring for cats due to allergies. I know that every dog is different. Some want to play nonstop, some love long walks, and others just want someone cuddles. I enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I’ve even helped reinforce basic training, taught a few fun tricks, and worked on some very simple behavioral habits when owners have appreciated. I believe consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement go a long way. When your dog is with me, they’ll be treated like my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your best friend is getting plenty of attention, exercise, affection, care until you’re back home. I’m currently a surgical technology student, and my classes are scheduled in the mornings, which means I’m available most afternoons and evenings for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and quality time with your pets. Trusting someone with your animal is a huge deal. I am big on personal integrity and respect. I know every pet is different, so I like to stick as closely as possible to the routine they’re already used to. Whether that means long walks, playtime in the yard, keeping up with feeding schedules, or just hanging out on the couch together, I’m happy to do whatever helps them feel comfortable while you’re away. Safety is always my biggest priority. I’m especially careful on walks, pay attention to each dog’s personality and body language. This means, my phone is away… unless I sneak a really cute picture of your pup. I also know how important it is to trust the person staying in your home, so I’ll treat your space with respect and leave it just the way I found it. I’ll also send plenty of updates and photos because I know I’d want the same if someone was watching my dog. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away worry free.

About: Dedicated Certified Dog Trainer and Pet First Aid/CPR Instructor with over 30 years experience caring for a variety of pets for family, friend's, and coworkers. I also have over 4 years experience working in high-volume doggie daycare, boarding, and training environment. I'm experienced in working with dogs of different breeds, ages, sizes (XS-XXL), and temperaments. I am also experienced in caring for cats, rats, guinea pigs, and bunnies. The pets in my care will be treated like my own and receive top-tier care. I work from home, so your pet won't be left alone or crated all day. I am insured, licensed, and certified in dog training and care. I have a fully fenced backyard (6ft tall vinyl fencing), baby gates, and x-pens to keep dogs out of unwanted areas or keep dogs separated. I enjoy capturing pictures and videos of the pets in my care doing various activities and am willing to send you updates throughout their stay. I'm starting my own in home pet care and am home with your pets 24/7. Everyday the pets in my care are let out for a potty break upon arrival or in the morning, before coming back into their separate spaces to have breakfast (if boarding or parent's brought breakfast). About an hour (time to let their food settle) after breakfast we go out for another supervised potty break, depending on the weather we'll stay outside and engage in some supervised play or come inside and do some enrichment activities before enjoying some down time to relax and reset. If you have requested a lunch for your pet, I'll provide a safe and quiet space for you pet to enjoy some lunch between 12pm-1pm. After letting their lunch settle( between 1pm-2pm) we'll go back out for a supervised potty break and some more supervised playtime, enrichment, or go for a walk in the neighborhood. I live in a house in a quiet neighborhood. I have 2 pet friendly dogs of my own, a husband, and a 16 year old son. I am licensed, insured, and certified in dog training and care. My backyard is fully fenced (6ft tall) with security cameras all around the outside. I also have baby gates and x-pens to keep pets separated if needed. I have poop scoops and a bucket for quick and easy clean up, pet safe/vet approved sanitizer to keep things clean/sanitized, pet first aid supplies, toys, enrichment/training equipment, a dog run, kennels, water bowls, a sandbox for digging in, swimming pools/sprinklers and air condtioning for hot days, and plan to add more outdoor equipment for a more fun and enriching time. Your pets will be treated like one of my own.

About: I’ve taken care of my friend’s dog on multiple occasions, for as long as two weeks at a time. I also have two dogs at home! We’ve had dogs since 2010. I also used to have cats as a kid, so I have experience with cat care as well. I can work around any schedule! I absolutely love all pets and am always looking to hang with them. Recently moved here so I am in need of some cute pets to take care of! My dogs are taken out three times a day and are fed twice a day. They are allowed to roam throughout the day and I do my best to give them as much attention when I’m home :) For dog sitting in the past, I typically visited 2-3 times a day, taking the dog out each visit and feeding twice a day. I take the dogs on walks for 15-20 minutes and poop is always picked up :)

About: I’ve worked in Veterinary medicine for 16+ years which includes Kennel/Veterinary Assistant in a general practice ,Emergency Veterinary Medicine for almost 6 years now. I moved from Maine in the summer of 2024. I’ve had on and off experience over many years of pet sitting mostly for my veterinary co workers pets in their homes (multiple cats, multiple dogs and sometimes a combination of both). I would enjoy having positive experiences with your pets on their normal day. I'm currently working Full Time my availability is mostly Thursday/Fridays and Saturdays. I'm available for 1 drop in visit or 1 walk Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. House sitting is limited to places I am able to bring my dog with me (he gets along with everything) as long as he pets in the household are ok with my Labrador Retriever. I'm willing to adjust rates for repeated visits to make it more affordable. More about me: I moved here from Maine in 2024 I have years experience in the Veterinary field but also pet sitting which was mostly veterinary staff pets in their home, experienced watching multiple pets that live in the same home. I had two full time jobs prior to the move so I have never had the opportunity to join Rover until moving to Oregon. About: Aloha, My name is Miranda Kaleiopu. I love all animals (but mostly dogs). I’ve had my own pups over the years, and each one has held significance in my life. Currently I have 3 pets. A chiweenie, Siberian husky/german Shepard mix, & a Domestic Bust tabby kitten. They are all the sweetest bunch. My little dog can be more vocal, but he is all bark mostly (little man syndrome in my opinion) but also just protective. They all have never attacked other animals or harmed other animals. My pets are sweethearts & I’m not just being biased. I do have little ones (3 & 7 year old) as well. They love animals too & enjoy playing with them & helping sometimes. Besides experience from taking care of my own animals & my past rover clients, I’ve actually worked at a vet clinic for over a year. I do have more knowledge now (but ofc I am not a vet) but I do feel more confident now than I did previously. I do live in an apartment, but it has a dog park. I will be taking them there a couple times besides walking. Let me know if you want them to just go for walks. For boarding, I would like for you to provide a kennel (if you have one), bed, a toy, and enough food to supply your pet till pick up day. For walking, I can only do evening walks unless it is on Saturday or Sunday. I will have a more open schedule starting in Sept, but currently I’m open on the weekends and around work hours. I will make it work. I just do the normal day to day plus whatever the pet may need. I do prefer for owner to bring their pet, pet bed, bowls, & a toy or something for comfort.
