Whether you're away for a day or an extended trip, I provide personalized care, fun playtime, and plenty of belly rubs for your furry family member. With a calm presence, flexible availability, and a true love for dogs of all breeds and sizes, I make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and right at home. Walks, cuddles, feeding, meds; I’ve got it covered! It’s just me and my two teenagers in the house - they are 17 and 19 and both have their own cars so I rarely see them! They’ve grown up around having a dog, and continually pressure me to have another one 😵💫 We had a bully breed mix, Celine Dion who sadly passed from old age in 2019. She had diabetes towards the end of her life, so I’m familiar with giving medication/shots if necessary. Since then we’ve regularly looked after our friends’ dogs until we fostered Simba in 2024 - we had him for 10 months until he was adopted. Because of having family in England, I want to be able to travel there frequently so am not ready to have a permanent dog again yet, but I LOVE having dogs come and stay with me when my calendar allows.

Louise was great with Stella! She was friendly, communicative, and made us feel really comfortable leaving Stella with her for the day. Stella seemed happy and well taken care of. We’d definitely book with her again.
This was Callie's second stay with Louise, and the one that really cemented the great relationship Callie--and my husband and I--have with her. Knowing what capable hands our girl is in when we're away makes leaving her a little bit easier. We still miss her terribly, but the frequent photos and updates from Louise mean we never worry that she's safe and happy and well cared for.
We could not be happier about finding Louise and having our 11-year old lab, Callebaut, stay with her and her kids during an important family trip. We usually ask for a "trial" day or two before a trip so that Cal is more comfortable returning to a sitter's house before the actual trip. We felt so comfortable after meeting Louise, and seeing her home and yard, that we skipped the trial and booked her for this stay and a future trip. Louise and her kids spoiled Cal with attention, and she sent photos, a video, and regular updates. She was also flexible and an obvious dog lover. 5-plus stars!
Louise is so great with Olive and we really appreciate the excellent care and love she gives our dog. We will definitely be booking again!
Louise was wonderful with our pups and had the perfect setup for them which eased our mind while we were off on our engagement shoot. Her yard was beautifully maintained and provided plenty of shade and sniff spots and toys to keep them entertained. She sent me several photos of them during our 3.5hr outing, including her cuddling with the clingy pup on on her couch. I highly recommend her!
Louise did a fantastic job caring for Olive. She kept us updated with texts and photos and I could tell Olive had a wonderful time with a loving family. 10/10 will be booking again. Thank you!

Schedule
I work from home so have flexibility in my routine and am always available for my visitors’ needs. I like to take a morning walk, and an evening one too. I’m not away from home often.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard and my neighborhood has beautiful walking trails, that I use whether I am walking a dog, or just walking alone. I’ve fostered rescue dogs and have experience of high anxiety dogs. I’m 6 feet tall and strong, and my last foster was great with people but not so much with other dogs we met on our walks, so I’m used to avoiding them, if necessary! I am happy to send photos to you whilst your dog is in my care, and will communicate with you as frequently as you would like.
A typical day
We’ll take a walk in the morning, before I start work, and the fenced back yard is always available for potty breaks and ball throwing. There will usually be a post lunchtime walk, and after a relaxing evening watching TV, we'll go for a late evening/pre-bedtime walk around the 'hood.
