About: Dedicated Certified Dog Trainer and Pet First Aid/CPR Instructor with over 30 years experience caring for my own variety of pets and family and friend's pets. I also have over 4 years experience working in high-volume doggie daycare, boarding, and training environment. I'm experienced in working with dogs of different breeds, ages, sizes (XS-XXL), and temperaments. I am also experienced in caring for cats, rats, guinea pigs, and bunnies. The pets in my care will be treated like my own and receive top-tier care. I work from home, so your pet won't be left alone or crated all day. I have a fully fenced backyard (6ft tall vinyl fencing), baby gates, and x-pens to keep dogs out of unwanted areas or keep dogs separated. I enjoy capturing pictures and videos of the pets in my care doing various activities and am willing to send you updates throughout their stay. I'm starting my own in home pet care and am home with your pets 24/7. Everyday the pets in my care are let out for a potty break upon arrival or in the morning, before coming back into their separate spaces to have breakfast (if boarding or parent's brought breakfast). About an hour (time to let their food settle) after breakfast we go out for another supervised potty break, depending on the weather we'll stay outside and engage in some supervised play or come inside and do some enrichment activities before enjoying some down time to relax and reset. If you have requested a lunch for your pet, I'll provide a safe and quiet space for you pet to enjoy some lunch between 12pm-1pm. After letting their lunch settle( between 1pm-2pm) we'll go back out for a supervised potty break and some more supervised playtime, enrichment, or go for a walk in the neighborhood. I live in a house in a quiet neighborhood. I have 2 pet friendly dogs of my own, a husband, and a 16 year old son. My backyard is fully fenced (6ft tall) with security cameras all around the outside. I also have baby gates and x-pens to keep pets separated if needed. I have poop scoops and a bucket for quick and easy clean up, pet safe/vet approved sanitizer to keep things clean, pet first aid supplies, toys, enrichment/training equipment, a dog run, kennels, water bowls, a sandbox for digging in, swimming pools/sprinklers for hot days, and plan to add more outdoor equipment for a more fun and enriching time. Your pets will be treated like one of my own.

Safety and health requirements: I’m unable to care for pets that are reactive, aggressive, destructive, or pose a safety risk to people or other animals. All pets must be up to date on routine veterinary care, including vaccinations and flea/tick prevention, to be eligible for any services. All pets must not be sick or show signs of illness at the time of service to be eligible for any services. Meet and greets: Meet and greets are optional but recommended for first-time clients. Boarding: Owners are required to provide their pets’ food, litter boxes, cat litter, medications, and any other essential items needed during their stay. I require cat owners to empty and wash their cats’ litter boxes before bringing them to my home. Doggy daycare: I provide a safe, stress-free environment where your dogs can relax, have fun, and feel comfortable throughout the day. Dogs receive playtime, walks, and plenty of attention during their stay. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, energy level, and individual needs to ensure a positive daycare experience. House sitting: My house sitting rates are currently set quite low while I build my client base on Rover. If you've booked with me and were happy with the care I provided, I'd greatly appreciate a 5-star review, as positive feedback helps me grow my business and connect with more pet owners. Please keep in mind that Rover takes a 20% service fee from each booking. Because of this, I'm unable to offer additional discounts on my house sitting services at this time. While I’m staying in your home, I won’t invite other people over, and I won’t allow other animals into the home. To ensure reliable communication and timely updates during house sitting stays, I require access to WiFi so I can maintain consistent connectivity and respond promptly to messages. Drop-in visits: A standard drop-in visit is 30 minutes, with the option to extend it to 60 minutes. I’ll provide your pets with fresh food and water, plenty of affection, and personalized care based on the instructions you provide. For dogs, I’ll provide potty breaks, short walks, and playtime. For cats, I’ll clean litter boxes and make sure they have a calm, stress-free experience, giving them as much attention as they’re comfortable with. Dog walks: Standard dog walks are 30 minutes, with the option to extend to 60 minutes. When it’s very hot outside, I’ll bring fresh water for your dogs and stick to shaded areas for their safety and comfort. Other important information: Each pet must be individually listed on the booking request and have their own profile. Multiple pets may not be booked as a single pet. If all pets aren’t accurately listed, I reserve the right to modify the booking request to reflect the correct number of pets or refuse service. I’ll leave your home in the same condition I found it and will clean up after myself and your pets during my stay. However, my services don’t include general housekeeping tasks or deep cleaning unrelated to pet care. By booking with me, owners of outdoor cats acknowledge that I’m not responsible for any disappearance, injury, illness, or death that occurs while their cats are outdoors during my stay, including, but not limited to, incidents involving other animals, vehicles, environmental hazards, theft, or any other circumstances beyond my control. My pick up and drop off rates reflect the maximum amount I charge for transportation services. Depending on your distance from me, this fee may be reduced. If you would like me to provide pick up and drop off services, you must provide secure, appropriately sized pet carriers for your pets. If the owner, or an authorized individual designated to retrieve the pets, is unavailable at the scheduled drop off time upon my arrival, the pets will be returned to my home and extended stay fees will be charged accordingly. In this situation, the owner is responsible for arranging pick up from my home and will be charged for each additional day the pets remain in my care until pick up is completed. Any pets not picked up within 24 hours of the agreed-upon pick up time, including situations in which pets are returned to my care following an unsuccessful drop off attempt, will be considered abandoned. In such cases, I reserve the right to surrender abandoned pets to the appropriate authorities, animal shelter, or rescue organization in accordance with local laws and regulations. Animals that aren’t dogs or cats: I’m most experienced in caring for rodents, especially rats, mice, gerbils, and hamsters. I don’t have any animal phobias, so I’m happy to care for a wide variety of other animals, including farm animals, rabbits, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and insects. For small pets, I charge per habitat rather than per individual animal. About: Growing up, my family always had dogs, so I’m pretty comfortable around them and looking after them,too. I officially became a dog mom in 2019 after graduating from college when I adopted an elderly Chihuahua named Lucy. She passed away two years ago, but caring for her gave me experience with senior dogs and administering daily arthritis medication. I now have my girl Peaches. She will be turning 3 in August and is puggle who keeps me on a consistent walking schedule! Through caring for my own dogs and pet sitting for friends and family, I’ve gained experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I also regularly watch my brother’s 2-year-old Staffie mix who is the biggest baby and I love like my own fur baby. I love going on walks, hikes, and visiting farmers markets/local parks/coffe shops, so your pup will get plenty of love, attention, and activity while in my care. I also like to call myself a “master pill hider” because Peaches has definitely made me work for my skills when it comes to giving daily medications 😂 I look forward to meeting your fur baby and possibly you, too! I promise to send consistent photos and videos while they’re in my care, and I’ll always communicate if I notice anything concerning about their behavior. I’d rather ask questions than assume something is normal. Im currently a full-time graduate school and do have in-person classes on campus downtown, so if I’m house sitting your furbaby would have to be ok being alone while I’m away. For walks, I will always keep your dog leashed and be mindful of outside temperatures while we're out. For drop-ins, I’ll make sure they have plenty of fresh water, receive any requested meals or medications, and have supervised outdoor time. If I need to administer medication, I’ll make note of when it was given and observe them afterward to ensure they’re doing well before I leave. About: While growing up I have always had a dog in the home. I’m a huge dog lover and don’t know what I would do if I did not have a dog in my life. I remember when my parents let me chose our next dog when I was young. I chose a sheltie and named him Arrow. The reason for the name Arrow was when I went to pick him up I noticed in his fur on the back of his head was an arrow. I loved taking care of Arrow and we had a special bond! I loved taking him on walks and he loved chasing me around the house. When I turned 15 I started to take care of one of my neighbors cats and fish when they went on vacations. After completing one summer, I started taking care of their cats and fish for the next eight years before I moved out. Once the rest of my neighbors found out I was known in the neighborhood for taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats when they were on vacations! I have also taken care of many of my coworkers cats and dogs as well. So rest assured your pet will be in good hands while you are on vacation. It will be one less stress to worry about. I currently work full time, however work three 12 hours shifts. I’m currently off Friday-Monday. So I’m available for the weekends, so perfect for anyone wanting to do a weekend getaway! I do work graveyard so I’m available anytime after 2pm on Fridays. However, if you need to drop of earlier just communicate so I can plan ahead. My girlfriend and I live in a townhouse. I don’t have a fenced backyard. However, have a small backyard that is used for potty breaks. It does have a small area of grass turf (fake grass). The good news we live in Fairview in the Fairview Terrace community. We have a very large area for dogs. So your dog will have lots of playtime in the grassy area. Also, the neighborhood is perfect for walking your dog as well. The community is fenced and a gated community as well. Our community is very dog friendly and many pet owners. We also have a micro mini Golden doodle. So your dog will have a playmate as well. We can also send photos of your pet to you while on vacation to help with the separation. I know when I go on vacation I have a hard time leaving my fur baby behind. For me, getting photos of my fur baby made the vacation a little easier!
