Penny was welcomed by our nervous pup with open paws and lots of slobber. She fit right in with the routine and shared photos. We felt safe, knowing that Chester was cared for in our absence.

Lilieana was so kind and gracious in the booking process. She also lives nearby so made everything pretty easy. The pups looked pleased on the pictures and are happy that we are home . Frankie sniffed around for a little while wondering if she was going to come back. Definitely a great sitter pick.

Pet sitters don't come any better than this. Jayne is the best! She gave our kitties lots of love and even our shy girl came out of hiding for pets. She provided lots of notes and the photos were awesome and reading them provided us with a fun routine at breakfast and dinner. I was able to focus on having an amazing vacation, worry free. Words can't really express how grateful we are to have found Jayne! ❤️

About: I have grown up with pets and even found my first job working at an animal boarding house. You could say I learned to become a professional dog walker at a young age. I have two high anxiety dogs and have been working on their social skills and coping methods to help their anxiety. I work full-time from home but take frequent breaks to let the dogs go out and play and take multiple walks a day to give them exercise. Weekends are mostly free to cuddle and to play with the fur babies. When house sitting or boarding pets I stay close so they be taken care of as needed. I keep my own pets on a schedule feeding, potty breaks and play with puzzles to earn treats. I will follow clients care guidelines to maintain consistency and keep them comfortable while their owners are gone.

About: I grew up with animals always around, dogs, cats, and birds, but am not ready to have one of my own again at this time. I work from home so will be available to your pets at all times. I have a big fenced back yard to play in. I limit stays to 1 household at a time to ensure everyone is familiar and comfortable with eachother. I am comfortable with pets of all ages and experienced in administering any medicines needed. I do live with a partner, while he is an animal lover too, I will be the sole sitter for your pets during their stay. I really look forward to meeting your fur babies! I work from home so I’ll be available at all hours of the day. My workday usually starts at 7am but that is highly flexible. My house is small but I have a large fenced in backyard and am usually okay just keeping the door open for pets to go in and out as they like during down time. I prefer for your pets to stay with me but if you need me to come to your place that can be arranged. I will respect your home and your home’s safety however you deem. I’m here to help you and your pets feel as comfortable as possible while you are away

About: About me: I’m happy to care for almost any animal, as long as they’re friendly and up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and other routine care. I’m also willing to care for pets with special needs and exotic animals, but these requests are accepted on a case-by-case basis. I’ve cared for over 100 different pets, including exotic animals, through my pet care business and across a variety of pet caregiver apps. Work schedule and availability: I’m available Monday through Sunday to care for your pets. Whether you’re looking for a long-term or last-minute pet sitter, I’d be happy to accept new clients. Meet and greets: Meet and greets are optional but recommended for first-time clients. If you choose to skip the meet and greet, I require detailed care instructions for your pets. Meet and greets are free when held at my home or conducted over the phone or through a video call. If you'd prefer the meet and greet at your home, I charge a non-refundable travel fee of $1 per mile for round-trip travel. For example, if you live 10 miles away, the travel fee would be $20. The travel fee is due in cash upon my arrival for the meet and greet and must be paid before the visit begins. Boarding: Before accepting a boarding request, I like to learn more about each pet by asking their owner some questions. This helps me make sure my home and boarding environment are a good fit for everyone involved. Owners are required to provide their pets’ food, litter boxes, cat litter, medications, and any other essential items needed during their stay. I require cat owners to empty and wash their cats’ litter boxes before bringing them to my home. Doggy daycare: I provide a safe, stress-free environment where your dogs can relax, have fun, and feel comfortable throughout the day. Dogs receive playtime, walks, and plenty of attention during their stay. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, energy level, and individual needs to ensure a positive daycare experience. House sitting: Constant care (maximum 4-hour absences): This is my standard house sitting service. I’ll stay in your home for the majority of the day and night with your pets. I may leave for up to 4 hours at a time for errands, other clients, or personal activities, but I’ll return within that timeframe unless there’s an unexpected delay (such as traffic) or an emergency. • First pet: From $15/day. • Additional dog: From $15/day. • Additional cat: From $15/day. • Additional fees may apply for pets with special needs, behavioral issues, or other circumstances that require extra care. 24-hour constant care: I’ll remain in your home with your pets at all times throughout the booking. I won’t leave for errands, other clients, or personal activities. I’ll only leave your home in the event of an emergency. This service is designed for pets who require continuous supervision, such as those with severe separation anxiety, medical needs, puppies, seniors, or for owners who prefer uninterrupted care. Because I remain on-site continuously and cannot take other work or leave the home, this service is priced accordingly. • First pet: From $250/day. • Additional dog: From $90/day. • Additional cat: From $70/day. • Additional fees may apply for pets with special needs, behavioral issues, or other circumstances that require extra care. While I’m staying in your home, I won’t invite other people over, and I won’t allow other animals into the home. To ensure reliable communication and timely updates during house sitting stays, I require access to WiFi so I can maintain consistent connectivity and respond promptly to messages. Drop-in visits: A standard drop-in visit is 30 minutes, with the option to extend it to 60 minutes. I’ll provide your pets with fresh food and water, plenty of affection, and personalized care based on the instructions you provide. For dogs, I’ll provide potty breaks, short walks, and playtime. For cats, I’ll clean litter boxes and make sure they have a calm, stress-free experience, giving them as much attention as they’re comfortable with. Dog walks: Standard dog walks are 30 minutes, with the option to extend to 60 minutes. When it’s very hot outside, I’ll bring fresh water for your dogs and stick to shaded areas for their safety and comfort. Bathing and brushing: This is an optional service that can be added to your booking for an additional fee. All bathing and brushing services include a bath with dog shampoo, towel drying, and brushing. • Small dogs (1-20 lbs): $70 (+$10 for long or double coats) • Medium dogs (21–50 lbs): $100 (+$20 for long or double coats) • Large dogs (51–100 lbs): $120 (+$30 for long or double coats) • XL dogs (101-150 lbs): $130 (+$40 for long or double coats) • XXL dogs (151-200+ lbs): $200 (+$50 for long or double coats) • Additional fees may apply for pets with special needs, behavioral issues, or other circumstances that require extra care. Safety and health requirements: I’m unable to care for pets that aren’t spayed/neutered, reactive, aggressive, destructive, or pose a safety risk to people or other animals. All pets must be up to date on routine veterinary care, including vaccinations and flea/tick prevention, to be eligible for any services. All pets must not be sick or show signs of illness at the time of service to be eligible for any services. Multiple pets and pet profiles: Each pet must be individually listed on the booking request and have their own profile. Multiple pets may not be booked as a single pet. If all pets aren’t accurately listed, I reserve the right to modify the booking request to reflect the correct number of pets or refuse service. Communication amount and frequency: The amount and frequency of communication you’ll receive from me is entirely up to you. By default, I typically send one update in the morning or afternoon and another in the evening. The evening update is usually more detailed and includes a summary of all pet care activities completed throughout the day. I also generally send one photo of each of your pets per day. If you would prefer more or fewer updates or photos, just let me know. I'm happy to accommodate your preferences. I typically don’t send messages after 8:00 PM Pacific Time unless there’s a reason to do so, as I usually begin winding down for the evening around that time. With that said, please feel free to message me after 8:00 PM if needed. I’ll respond as soon as I can, and if I’m already asleep, I’ll get back to you tomorrow. Pick up and drop off policy: All boarding and daycare pets must be picked up between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM Pacific Time, unless alternative pick up times have been arranged in advance. If you would like me to provide pick up and drop off services, you must provide secure, appropriately sized pet carriers for your pets. If the owner, or an authorized individual designated to retrieve the pets, is unavailable at the scheduled drop off time upon my arrival, the pets will be returned to my home and extended stay fees will be charged accordingly. In this situation, the owner is responsible for arranging pick up from my home and will be charged for each additional day the pets remain in my care until pick up is completed. Any pets not picked up within 24 hours of the agreed-upon pick up time, including situations in which pets are returned to my care following an unsuccessful drop off attempt, will be considered abandoned (this doesn’t include situations beyond the owner's control, such as a delayed flight, provided these incidents are communicated to me). In such cases, I reserve the right to surrender abandoned pets to the appropriate authorities, animal shelter, or rescue organization in accordance with local laws and regulations. Late pick up fees: • +$25 for pick ups that are 30–39 minutes late. • +$30 for pick ups that are 40–49 minutes late. • For pick ups 50+ minutes late, an additional day of boarding/daycare will be charged. Tasks unrelated to pet care: I’ll leave your home in the same condition I found it and will clean up after myself and your pets during my stay. My services don’t include general housekeeping tasks nor do they include deep cleaning unrelated to pet care. I’m happy to assist with small additional tasks, such as watering a few plants, provided these are discussed and agreed upon in advance. Outdoor cats: By booking with me, owners of outdoor cats acknowledge and accept that I’m not responsible for any disappearance, injury, illness, or death that occurs while their cats are outdoors during my stay, including, but not limited to, incidents involving other animals, vehicles, environmental hazards, or any other circumstances beyond my control. Indoor-only cats will be kept indoors at all times during my stay and won’t be allowed outside under any circumstances. Exotic animals: I’m most experienced in caring for rodents, especially rats, mice, gerbils, and hamsters. I don’t have any animal phobias, so I’m happy to care for a wide variety of other animals, including farm animals, rabbits, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and insects. For animals other than dogs and cats, please select the dog profile and choose “Other pets” in the breed dropdown. When booking, please list the species in your message. For small pets, I charge per habitat rather than per individual animal. For example, multiple small pets living in the same enclosure are counted as one dog, while separate habitats are counted individually.

Ash is awesome! They have been taking care of my pups on a regular basis for a few weeks now. Ash is super communicative and has been flexible with my schedule and meeting the needs of my loud, energetic herding dogs. Ash has also generously picked up dog poo just to be helpful, cleaned up puppy messes in my home and fed my pups when necessary. When I had an issue with the water in my home Ash made sure my dogs had water before they left my house which was so sweet. I really appreciate their reliability, communication, caring and patience. Definitely recommend to others!

About: I’m a current foster home for the Troutdale shelter. I’ve taken legal cases and regular foster cases until they are adopted. I love all animals and just want to help those in need. I currently work from home so I’m able to care for your pet all day. I’m able to play, love on them and walk them. I don’t have a fenced yard but I’m able to walk your furry friend or crate them. However you want them to be taken care of.

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Corbett

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 6,425 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Corbett. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Corbett stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Corbett. On Rover:

  • 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
