10. Melissa M.
“Melissa helped me find my first dog from a shelter ,at which point she helped me learn all about the dog her insecurities her likes and don’t likes. Several years later are paths crossed at the veterinary clinic each and every visit I made sure she was there for the appointments. But it went above that any emergency vet visit i messaged her she was there for me. The day I put my dog to rest that I acquired through her, she was there for every moment. Animals I had prior to her with no connection she was there for me during the good and the bad. She is over all someone I would trust with any animal I own. She is compassionate when it comes to animals and their well being and best care. She will advise anyone what she believes is best or if she thinks something could be potentially wrong . Over all I recommend Melissa as a 10 out of 10 !”

11. Jaqueline F.

“My pup had a great time and was worn out from playing with Jaqueline’s puppy!”

12. Jared B.

“Jared was an excellent sitter! Both my Papillons seemed to have a great time with Jared, Bartholomew, and their cats. Communication was smooth and timely throughout. I would be happy to bring my furry babies to Jared again. Highly recommended!”

13. Caramia W.
“Caramia is a wonderful pet sitter and my pets took to her right away. She knows a lot about dog training and could easily read my cat’s and my dog’s body language. It was fascinating to see how quickly she made them feel comfortable with her and win their trust since my littles tend to be on the shy side at first, and watching them play together is just the sweetest thing. I honestly tend to get quite anxious when leaving my pets, but not when they’re with Caramia! The little photo and video updates she sends throughout the day are just so cute and I can see how happy and safe my pets are when they’re around her. She has also taken my pup on joggs or sniff walks on days that my work was too crazy to let me up for air, and my pup comes back home with a big smile on her face every time. Caramia is my ONLY choice for pet care from now on.”

15. Cirene A.
About: Hello there! 🙋♀️🙋♀️ Thank you for taking the time to read this. We are sisters 👭Cirene and Sirenay, and as most sitters here, we have an undying love for animals! Although we are biased to dogs (sorry cat owners!🫣) Individually we have petsit, fostered, done check-ins for family members and friends out on vacation who have left their fur babies home, etc. We are conveniently located in Downtown Gresham, with plenty of places to walk around and just a 10 minute walk/ 3min driver from Main City Park. We are also just 20 minutes from the PDX Airport! We do not have a fenced back yard but we promise lots of exercise for your baby through lots of walks to the park. Now, as for us, we were the owners of a sweet and gentle, 4 year old Pitbull who was spoiled to the core. Now we spend our days indulging on and spoiling other peoples pets. Additionally, one of us is always home so your fur baby will have care 24/7! As previous animal owners we know that pets are not just companions but they are our family. That’s why our main goal is to create a safe, loving, and engaging environment that brings peace of mind to you and makes your furry family member feel cherished every day. We are both part-time online college students! That means that one of us is home 24/7 and the other works a 4 hour shift job divided into 2 hours AM and 2 hours PM, with a 6 hour break in between! Our home is 100% dog friendly so no place is off limits (except the kitchen😅🙈) Dogs are welcome to sleep in their beds or in our rooms. We typically take dogs out to potty early in the morning, throughout the day, and then for the last time at night after their last meal. Ofcourse that can be altered depending on your pets needs. We do not have crates in our home, our dogs were always free to roam but if you feel that your dog might need his crate feel free to bring it with them at drop off😊

16. Emma S.

“Emma and Kenzie are incredible and our dogs love them! They go above and beyond to help make life easier for us and even bathed our labs for us. I am so grateful to find such wonderful people who love dogs as much as I do to take care of my pups! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you ladies for being absolutely awesome!”

17. Anastasia M.

“Anastasia allowed me to relax with my husband for a day without needing to meet all of Remy's needs. This was our first stay with Anastasia, but she offered a Meet and Greet initially that put my mind at ease with regard to her family of pets, the conditions of her yard, and her willingness to answer my questions and needs. She did a great job safeguarding Remy during his day's stay, she sent me photos and an update on how he was settling in, which I greatly appreciated. I'll definitely re-book Anastasia for Remy's pet-sitting needs in the future.”

18. Kaitlin H.

“Kaitlin is so great with our golden doodle, Henry! I’ve left him in her care several times and she makes the whole process easy. She’s very responsive, sends updates/pictures, and is super sweet. Definitely trust her with your furry family member!”

19. Julie & Barry V.

“Julie and Barry are wonderful! If we lived closer I’d always use them to care for my dog, and I’d want to have them as my personal friends! Having traveled to Portland from San Diego to visit our toddler granddaughter, we were in a bind. Our mixed-breed dog is reactive to the toddler and to the two cats who also live in the house, and that makes for a stressful visit. I wanted to get a dog sitter, but I was worried about finding someone so far from home on short notice. Our dog has a lot of separation anxiety and is rather high-strung. I started a search on Google, and Julie and Barry popped up. Trust me, you should do what I did—look no further! I knew right away that I had found a gem! Julie and Barry have a beautiful, peaceful home. They were so kind to my dog that she jumped out of our car each morning when we dropped her off and ran up to their front door because she was so excited to see them again! In short, we didn’t have any worries at all about our dog during this visit. Julie and Barry only take care of one dog at a time, and they will give your dog individualized attention and lots of love! They do this out of their love for dogs, and I can’t imagine a more perfect situation. Thank you so much, Julie and Barry!”

20. Martha B.
“Marti and Brad were great. They have taken the best care of my two dogs Lexi and Dave. It's like a home away from home for them and they are always excited to go and visit. I Highly recommend them. Marti is a dog whisperer.. lol so good with animals.”
