Dedicated Certified Dog Trainer and Pet First Aid/CPR Instructor with over 30 years experience caring for a variety of pets for family, friend's, and coworkers. I also have over 4 years experience working in high-volume doggie daycare, boarding, and training environment. I'm experienced in working with dogs of different breeds, ages, sizes (XS-XXL), and temperaments. I am also experienced in caring for cats, rats, guinea pigs, and bunnies. The pets in my care will be treated like my own and receive top-tier care. I work from home, so your pet won't be left alone or crated all day. I am insured, licensed, and certified in dog training and care. I have a fully fenced backyard (6ft tall vinyl fencing), baby gates, and x-pens to keep dogs out of unwanted areas or keep dogs separated. I enjoy capturing pictures and videos of the pets in my care doing various activities and am willing to send you updates throughout their stay.

I have used Willow for dog training sessions and just used her to dog sit while we went on vacation and she continues to be wonderful. She sent pictures and updates every day and even worked with him on his training while watching him. She has so mature different activities for him he was wiped out by the time we picked him up. I will continue to use her for all my dog care needs
Willow was great with my reactive, anxious dog. It’s challenging to find sitters knowledgeable and capable of dealing with his issues. We felt confident leaving our dog with her and I can tell he had a good time. Willow kept him busy with activities and gave us frequent updates. We will definitely use her services again when we need daycare.
When it come to dogs and Willow, she has an uncanny ability to connect with every dog I've seen her meet. Her passion for dogs shines brightly. In the past 20 years or so of knowing Willow, she has impressed me many times over with her knowledge of dogs that has given her the ability to understand and read dogs and their behaviors. As a personal friend, I often see her reading and studying ways to improve and advance her skill set. She is involved in dog sports including agility, rally, and obedience and has earned many titles with her dogs. The advice she has givin me over the years has always been spot on.

Schedule
I'm starting my own in home pet care and am home with your pets 24/7. Everyday the pets in my care are let out for a potty break upon arrival or in the morning, before coming back into their separate spaces to have breakfast (if boarding or parent's brought breakfast). About an hour (time to let their food settle) after breakfast we go out for another supervised potty break, depending on the weather we'll stay outside and engage in some supervised play or come inside and do some enrichment activities before enjoying some down time to relax and reset. If you have requested a lunch for your pet, I'll provide a safe and quiet space for you pet to enjoy some lunch between 12pm-1pm. After letting their lunch settle( between 1pm-2pm) we'll go back out for a supervised potty break and some more supervised playtime, enrichment, or go for a walk in the neighborhood.

I live in a house in a quiet neighborhood. I have 2 pet friendly dogs of my own, a husband, and a 16 year old son. I am licensed, insured, and certified in dog training and care. My backyard is fully fenced (6ft tall) with security cameras all around the outside. I also have baby gates and x-pens to keep pets separated if needed. I have poop scoops and a bucket for quick and easy clean up, pet safe/vet approved sanitizer to keep things clean/sanitized, pet first aid supplies, toys, enrichment/training equipment, a dog run, kennels, water bowls, a sandbox for digging in, swimming pools/sprinklers and air condtioning for hot days, and plan to add more outdoor equipment for a more fun and enriching time. Your pets will be treated like one of my own.
Pets
A typical day
I love to let dogs be dogs with structure, so we'll take a stroll through the scent garden letting them use their noses, play some games to stimulate their minds, food puzzles/games, fetch, tug, dig in the sandbox to relieve that natural drive to dig and scavenge for toys, or on hot days splash in the pool with toys or run through sprinklers, or even just sit around for some quiet time. If requested, I will work with your dog on any specific behaviors issues, fitness, or physical therapy exercises at a small additional cost depending on your wants/needs.
