About: I grew up caring for dogs of various sizes and breeds. My children and I cherish the love and joy of having a pet to care for and play with. I no longer own a dog of my own, however we still want a furry friend to share our lives with. I'm an elementary teacher by day, however have afternoons, evenings, weekends, school vacations, and summers available to care for your dog. I am not home during most school days, however will not host a dog unless I am also scheduled to be home. There is a lot of space for one or two dogs to play inside our home. When caring for dogs, I will take them for walks in the park across the street or through one of the many walking paths in this area. It's our pleasure to play with your dog; keeping them engaged makes for a fun experience and helps keep their minds off of missing you!

Your pup will be treated like family — because that’s exactly how I see them. ❤️ I work as a registered nurse on 12-hour shifts, just three days a week. That means I have 4 full days off every week to dedicate to caring for your pets. My shifts rotate, but I always know my schedule in advance, so I can plan pet care reliably. I also work every other weekend, which leaves me with plenty of flexibility on weekdays and some weekends free as well. On my days off, I’m home and fully available for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. How I Care for Pets in My Home: In my home, dogs are treated like family. I live in a pet-friendly space with room to play and easy access to walking trails. My own Golden Retriever, Lexie, is gentle and social, so visiting pups have a built-in buddy if they’re comfortable with other dogs. I keep a consistent routine with feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of attention. Safety always comes first — I make sure the environment is secure, supervise play, and follow any instructions you provide to keep your pup happy and comfortable. How I Care for Pets in a Client’s Home: When I’m in your home, I do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel secure. That includes feeding at the same times, daily walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any medications or special care instructions. I always respect your home and keep it as I found it, while giving your pets the attention and companionship they’re used to when you’re there. You’ll also get regular updates and photos so you know they’re in good hands.

About: In the past 4 years, my husband started working at a dog daycare, and our home became even more pet-friendly—we’re fully immersed in the dog world now. I often take care of pets while their humans are away or traveling, and sometimes our place becomes their temporary home for a few hours. I don’t work full-time with pups, but every gap in my schedule is a perfect excuse to spend time with furry friends. It’s truly one of my favorite things to do! I’m currently available full-time, which means I have plenty of flexibility to care for your pup when you need it most! Whether it’s walks, or quick visits, I’m here to help—especially on weekends and after 2pm on weekdays. While I don’t have a yard, I make up for it with safe and energizing walks that help your pup release energy and stay happy!
