About: Your furry family members are in good hands with our family of sitters. We know that leaving your dog or cat home while you travel can be stressful. We will give you peace of mind with photo updates and go the extra mile to keep your fuzzy friends happy. Dave grew up with dogs and cats and has a knack for making them feel comfortable. He has been providing cat sitting and dog walking on Rover for more than 5 years. Jess grew up with guinea pigs and hamsters, but dreamed of having her own dog. For the past 9 years, she and her rescue mutt, Shelby, have been best buds. For drop-in visits, Dave will be your primary sitter. He is a huge cat-lover and cats love him. (If you have a kitty that gets anxious when you are not around, Dave would be a perfect pet-sitter choice). Jess primarily handles booking details so that Dave can concentrate on providing great care. For drop in visits, we often schedule our visits around school hours and usually visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Most of our clients are flexible on visit times. If you have a preference between morning, afternoon, or evening, please let us know. If your cat needs a visit at a specific visit time (e.g., for medication), please let us know at the meet and greet or via message; we usually can accommodate. Drop ins include feeding, medication, playtime and a litter box change (kitties) or potty break (dogs). Dog walking is not included. We are now accepting small dogs for overnight stays at our home. Your pup will be a temporary family member, joining Dave, Jess, their son, and our cat, Tarzan. To ensure that your pup is okay with a new kitty-pal, we require a meet and greet at our home for all boarding clients. We can talk to you about your pup's preferences and needs during the meet and greet. We are not currently accepting new dog walking clients. We do meet and greets with all new clients to make sure that we understand the needs of each individual pet. We will also arrange logistics including key pickup at the meet and greet. We are happy to do meet and greets with new clients in person if you are comfortable with it or by zoom if you prefer. We tailor the visit to your cat's needs and preferences. After the litter is scooped and the food and water filled, we are happy to provide playtime, pets, and combing if your kitty enjoys them. A note on rates for multi-cat homes. We charge $10 for the 2nd cat and $5 for the 3rd cat. Rover currently does not let us set a separate rate for the 3rd pet, so your booking request will show a higher rate for the 3rd cat. We will manually adjust the rate for the 3rd cat before finalizing the booking. If you are new to Rover, ask us about our promo code for $20 off your first booking. Please check our rover calendar for availability. We update the calendar regularly, so it will be up to date. Please let us know if you have questions about availability. To create a safe environment for your pet, we tailor our visits to your dog's or cat's preferences and the instructions you provide. For stays in our home, we will discuss your dog's needs and abilities during our meet and greet. We usually give your pup the run of the house, but we can gate off areas (like the stairs) if you prefer. Either Dave or Jess will be home during the day with your pup. Thank you!
“Luke was absolutely wonderful! I got a ton of updates and bella was so happy the whole time! She went on little hikes , did some swimming, played fetch and got tons of love and snuggles! Highly recommend”

“Yesika was an amazing dog-sitter! She boarded my Luka on short notice during a long weekend. I was assured that he was being taken care of as Yesika was very communicative and sent pictures of Luka throughout. I didn’t worry about him at all and could tell that he loved his time spent with Yesika and her other dog, Grecia. Yesika was very loving towards Luka and took him on plenty of walks to the dog parks nearby her apartment. I can’t recommend her enough, and I know I’ll be using her services again in the future!”
