“My fiancé and I needed accommodations for our pup last minute as we were visiting Salem just for the day, and Hannah was extremely quick to reply and more than incredible with Jojo. She sent us updates and a photo and also took him on a walk. She’s so kind and dependable, and I definitely recommend leaving your pup with her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Stoneham
Rob was great. Was uncertain how my shy-ish new one would do, but Rob arranged a pre-meet that helped ease anxiety on the appointed day. He is clearly a dog guy and relates to them well. Would highly recommend & I intend on availing myself of Rob’s services in the future.

Luke was amazing. Mongo had one of the best days hiking and snuggling with Luke after his hike. Luke is communicative and sent so many great pictures throughout their visit. I highly recommend Luke for dogs of all sizes. He’s an excellent dog handler and absolute lover of dogs. Mongo is already looking forward to his next visit.

Sahana and Raman were wonderful! They took the time to meet our Red and make sure he was comfortable with them and their Cinnamon while we were still present. They were also very flexible and communicative. Red looked very happy and comfy, both in the many pics/videos they sent through the stay, and when we picked him up after a week. Would definitely book again!

We had such a wonderful experience with Carol! Our Boxer, Jarvis, stayed with her and absolutely loved his time there. It was clear when we picked him up that he felt comfortable, happy, and so well cared for. Carol was incredibly kind, attentive, and loving toward Jarvis, and we really appreciated knowing that he was in such good hands while we were away. She made him feel right at home, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was having a great time. Jarvis came home happy and tired, which is always the best sign! We would absolutely trust Carol with him again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like family. We’re so grateful for the wonderful care she gave Jarvis! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our dog, Bailey, had a wonderful time with Mariia & Mikhail – it was very clear from all the photos! We were away for almost two weeks and were initially a little nervous to leave Bailey for so long. Their communication and adorable photos of Bailey having fun, getting a lot of attention, and taking walks put us at ease and made our hearts sing. Our Bailey is 14 years old, so she has some walking limitations, and she has to take medication. Mariia & Mikhail handled everything like pros, and we truly don’t think she could have been in better hands. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to leave their pet with friendly, responsible, and communicative sitters.

She was a wonderful sitter for my dog over three days. My dog really liked her, and she took extra care to help him feel comfortable and less anxious while I was away. She was also very flexible, accommodating, and easy to communicate with throughout the stay. I would happily book with her again and highly recommend her to other dog owners!

Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Stoneham.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ME ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
