“Jennifer was fantastic with our two beagles! She came over for a meet and greet and they immediately loved her. We had such a busy day that we couldn’t focus on our pups during, and Jennifer gave us peace of mind and a lot of photos and updates! She was on time, professional, kind, and a great pup-sitter. I would highly recommend Jennifer if you want your dogs to be in good hands for a stress free time away! :)”

“Christopher did a wonderful jobs taking care of our Zoey. He sent plenty of updates and photos to us while we were gone. Our girl is reactive with other dogs, but he handled her well on walks. We appreciate the level of care he gave her as well as the respect for our home that he showed. We will be hiring him again.”

“Lauren was fantastic with Maxie! Very caring and helpful with my pup’s special need. She provided excellent care and I will definitely use her again in the near future. Thank you Lauren!”

“Melissa and Nick earned their “star” status here for one simple reason: they are THE BEST! I was in a tough situation the weekend before I had to leave for a business trip on Monday morning. My sitter cancelled. Two people can handle a situation like this better than anyone — they are like tag-team world champions. I never had to worry that my kidz were alone. And, they left my house better than they found it … my bedroom light was fixed after 2 years of dim light. They will definitely be my “go to” house sitters forever! I’m looking forward to getting out a little more, too!”

“Sarah was amazing with our two dogs. She sent so many pictures and took wonderful care of our home. She even comforted our pups when fireworks were going off and walked them each day. She was able to give one of our dogs a pill each day as well. We can’t recommend her enough! We will be using her again!!!”

“Jennifer was great. She's a new friend to my bulldog and great dane and they were excited for walkies and an overnight cuddle party. Jennifer was very communicative and kept us updated on events. Recommended and thank you!”

“Christina is FANTASTIC. She took great care of our babies and sent us updates with photos and videos, and left the house pristine. She was extremely flexible and accommodating when we had a last minute change to our trip. I will definitely use her again!”

“John did a great job taking care of our two large dogs for about a week. He kept their routine going and sent us plenty of photos and updates. He also took great care with our home and we found everything in good condition. We also appreciated that he came over before the booking started for a ‘meet and greet’. Overall, we felt our dogs were in good hands and we are already planning another booking with him.”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve spent over 10 years as a paid pet sitter, but truly, my experience began in childhood, surrounded by pets I adored and cared for. Most recently, I spent two years in Peru providing long-term care for beloved pets while their families were away for months at a time. During that time, I managed a small farm with 11 animals — horses, dogs, cats, and chickens — each with their own personality and needs. Now back in Michigan pursuing my Master’s in Social Work, I would love nothing more than to spend my days with animals again. I promise to care for your pets as I have always cared for my own, with patience, love, and unwavering attention. I work and attend school from home, which allows me to be present and attentive to the pets I care for throughout the day. While I don’t have classes every day or all day, I have long breaks that I use for walks, playtime, and quality companionship. This flexible schedule means your pet will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while I balance my work and studies. I provide pet care exclusively in your home, which helps pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar surroundings. I understand how important it is to maintain a safe, calm environment for your pets while you’re away. I follow any specific routines and instructions you provide to ensure their needs are met exactly as they’re used to. My priority is to build trust with both you and your pets so they feel cared for and at ease throughout my visits.

About: I have taken care of multiple dogs for both my friends and family. My experience ranges from small dogs to BIG dogs, including watching and taking care of multiple at a time. I work from home full time so if the need is to watch a pet for a few hours, a whole day or a whole week or more I am very flexible and can do my full time job from anywhere with internet. I unfortunately cannot care for pets in my home as my family has allergies but I am happy to care for them over at your house, make sure they feel comfortable, loved and make sure they aren’t alone for long periods of time.

“I was very happy with Diane. I loved all the picture updates that she sent me. I have 3 dogs and she stayed at my house to watch them. I loved the fact that my house was cleaner than when I left. I would highly recommend her.”

“This was our second time booking with Lisa and we couldn’t be happier. She was available for a one night stay with very short notice, took wonderful care of our cats and home, and even left me a thoughtful gift. I can tell our cats love her, we’re looking forward to booking with her again in the future.”

“This was my first experience having someone I don't personally know stay with Emma and it couldn't have gone better! Jacklyn provided updates and pictures and Emma was not in any sort of funk when I got home (spoiled girl lol). Will definitely be using Jacklyn in the future!”

About: Hi or woof! My names Isabela but, I actually go by Isaac now! I began dog-sitting in high school for my neighbors and family friends and it always brought me so much joy and joined Rover as an undergrad college student. I am applying for grad school while moved back in with my parents in metro-detroit, so I cannot board but would love house-sit or walk your furry friend 🐾 feel free to message me here or at icoenca gmail dot com to speak with me about your needs! I have experience with dogs, cat, and some small animals like even chinchillas! I feel most comfortable carrying for dogs though and my favorite dog i’ve ever cared for was a Jack Russell Terrier named Nemo 🐶 💓 I’ve just returned from doing TrustedHousesitters in Europe and caring for dogs and cats! I’m available and flexible for communication and care for your furry friend. Lets have a chat! I am very quick to communicate and approach pets as if they were my own. I am slow to introduce myself and allow them their own time to get comfortable with me.

“Arianna did great with our pets. She didn't actually stay over, which was fine, it was what we agreed to. She never left them alone for too long and made sure to give them plenty of affection. Our house was just as clean when we got home as it was when we left. She sent us pictures and provided updates. I would recommend Arianna.”
