“Jordyn has changed our dog for the better. Before Jordyn, our dog didn't sit on my lap except in the car. Now - he will, and lay on my tummy when I'm lying on the sofa. You brought out the best in Toledo and we are so happy. Toledo loves you - the moment you showed up for a walk Toledo's tail couldn't stop. Besides- you are always on time and wonderful to connect with. We are so glad we found you. ❤️”

About: I grew up on a farm so I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. I have experience with dairy operations, including milking, cleaning, and birthing goats. I also have experience caring for goats, horses, mini ponies, dogs, cats, small reptiles, birds, and guinea pigs. I have been pet sitting since I was 15 with all of the perviously mentioned animals. I also have experience in training horses as well as puppies. I also have experience working with a variety of aged animals, including seniors, so I am able to adapt to additional needs. I also have experience administering medication to a variety of different animals. I am looking for a part time position while I finish up my studies at UVM. I only have classes in the evening two nights out of the week. I can be flexible to drop by and hang out with your pet during the day, if it's better I can also hang out with your pet for most of the day if I can study with them! Also if you contact me with enough notice (~ 3 days) I will most likely be able to make time of the weekends to provide care! Typically I like to meet the pet while the owner is there to see their personality while they have the comfort of their owner there. Then I try and establish trust and connection with your critter while you are there so it won't be as scary when I return while the owner is away. I try and stick to the critter's normal routine, whether that's going for a walk, playing, or feedings at a certain time or in a certain manner to try and maintain their normal routine as much as possible.

“Leslie is very nice - it is easy to communicate with him, he is very accommodating to our rambunctious dog, and he is always on time! It is a pleasure to have him walking our dog, Archie :)”

“Beatrice walks our Bernie daily - great communication with us - and we are new pet owners so texting her constantly! We have been working with her for over a month now and feel really lucky to have found her.”

About: I've been working with animals my entire life, as I've grown up with cats and dogs and have been riding and working with horses for about 10 years. I have been dog/cat sitting here and there for neighbors, family, and friends for years, in addition to volunteering both with large and small animal organizations. When I was 16 years old, I started working at a "pet resort and spa" (a luxury pet boarding/grooming facility) in my hometown and it has been a great job for the past three years. However, I now live in Burlington and would love to continue working with animals! I have worked with animals of all kinds- big and small, shy and bold, anxious and excited. I can't wait to get to know your furry friends! I'm currently a college student. For the summer my schedule is quite flexible in terms of days and times. Check my calendar or reach out to me for more specific availability! I would love to come meet your dog or cat at your home, or in an agreed upon public meeting place, such as a park. My goal is to ensure your pet(s) is as happy and comfortable as possible, so I will take my time getting to know each individual animal, their personality, specific routines, etc.

About: I grew up with two dogs and currently am the owner of a cat. I have always loved animals of all kinds and have had two years of experience doing drop in visits for cats. Part time student, I am open for drop in visits or dog walking on most days when I do not have to go to classes. I like to work within whatever specifications owners have for their pets and take extra precaution to make sure that they feel and are safe.

About: Experience with dogs of all ages & breeds, able to provide regular or one time dog walking of any preferred distance & occasional dog sitting as needed! I work as a nurse with a very flexible schedule- able to provide Monday & Tuesday regular visits/walks and Wed-Sun every other week. Can do anytime that works for you! My home has one cat so only able to provide in house visits with cat friendly dogs! Visits in client homes preferred, but can accommodate occasional boarding.

About: Everyone around me knows how much I love pets. I have helped dog sitting my boss’s dog, and as a first timer, I know I did great! I’m working a full time job, I’m ready for anything after working hours and weekends. For occasional home visits, I can make some exceptions depending on my schedule. I myself have a cat, and I haven’t been able to assess how she would react with other pets so I’m holding off on bringing other pets at my place for now. Otherwise, for the clients, I make sure I observe all safety measures and that I’m giving them all the love.

“Maria was very responsive, and timely! I appreciated that she took Bodhi a variety of paths and seemed to really be interested in what he needed most. Would definitely use her again in the future!”

Kyra was amazing when we were in a pinch, away from home, and needing a dig sitter the same day. An unexpected trip to UVM Medical Center with the dog in the car on a hot day was less than ideal, but Kyra answered our message immediately, took amazing care of our dog, sent photos, and pivoted with changing plans and last minute requests. What a trustworthy godsend! Highly recommended.

I can not say nought wonderful things about Samantha! Sam is a gem. The love and care Sam shows Oliver rivals my own. They match energy everytime they interact. Oliver waits by the door when he knows Sam is on the way. Sam is prompt, communicative, and no matter the weather Sam arrives with a smile. We love Sam and I highly recommend her. If you want someone to care for your furry family member than Sam is your person. We are team SAM all the way. Thank you Sam for taking such wonderful care of our sweet potato.

Julie was wonderful! She instantly connected with Honey and clearly understood her unique personality and needs. Honey felt comfortable with her from the start. If you're looking for someone reliable, intuitive, and genuinely dedicated to your dog's care and well-being, I highly recommend Julie.

Kat is the best!! Responsible, punctual, and has the nicest personality. Wonderful to chat with! My dog Leila absolutely adores her as well and enjoyed her walks and socialization very much. I would definitely hire her again and highly recommend to anyone else in need of dog care!
