About: I am recently retired and have owned cats and dogs for years. I am currently doing in-home dog sitting for friends so that they can travel. I treat their pets like they are part of the family. I currently have two cats, both strays, that I took in and took care of their medical situation and now they live with me. I had two dogs, both pit bull mixes. Both of them died a couple years ago at the age of 15 1/2. I have not been able to get another dog as I’m just not ready yet emotionally, but I would love to spend time with other peoples’ dogs and cats. I am recently retired. I drive a neighbor to doctor and lab appointments during the week, but I have plenty of time in-between to spend quality time with your cats or dogs. I have a secure large fenced-in yard. I supervise the dogs when they’re outside, I don’t just leave them out there. I’ll also play with them if they are up to it. I am not currently looking to board dogs or cats in my home because of my two cats.

About: I've been around dogs for over 7 years now, starting with taking care of family dogs back in Colombia as a side hustle. Over the years, I've also helped friends by watching their dogs for a few weeks at a time. More recently, I became a dog owner myself in January, and it's been a whole new level of learning and love. Caring for my pup, Elo, has taught me so much—from daily routines to training and understanding dog behavior. I'm patient, attentive, and genuinely passionate about giving pets the care they deserve. I'm currently studying for my tech interviews, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I have plenty of time throughout the week to walk, play with, and care for your dog. Whether you need someone for a quick drop-in, a long walk, or overnight care, I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s needs. I'm reliable, attentive, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe and loved while you're away. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to maintain the routines and habits we build with our pets. With my own puppy, Elo, I’m very mindful of consistency, and I always look for someone who will respect and follow our established schedule. That’s exactly how I approach caring for other people’s pets—I’ll follow your guidelines closely to make sure your dog stays on track and continues the progress you’ve made together: from potty schedule, to feeding, training, walking, exercising, and mental stimulation. I’ll give your pet plenty of love and attention, all while respecting your unique style as a pet owner.

About: Hi there! My name is Jennifer , and caring for animals has been at the heart of my life for over 30 years. I've owned and loved both cats and dogs since 1993, and for the past 13 years, I've proudly served as the Cat Foster Coordinator for St. Francis Society Animal Rescue - five of those years as Vice President of the organization as well. During this time, i've personally fostered over 1100 kittens and cats and successfully placed them in loving forever homes. I've also fostered several dogs, and I care deeply for animals of all species, sizes, and personalities. In addition to daily care, I have extensive experience with medical needs. I can administer subcutaneous fluids, vaccines, oral and injectable medications, and have provided specialized care for two cats with megaesophagus. I've managed post-operative recover for animals after leg and tail amputations, eye enucleations, spay/neuters, and more. I'm confident and calm with both routine and complex care, and I always prioritize comfort, safety, and gentle handling. My goal as a pet sitter is simple: to treat your pets like I treat my own - with love, patience, and attention to detail. Whether you have a playful pup, a shy senior, or a kitty with extra medical needs, i'm here to help you feel confident they're in caring, capable hands. Pet care is a central part of my daily life - it's not something I squeeze in , it's something I've built my schedule around. With years of experience caring for both my own animals and others', I've developed a routine that prioritizes timely feedings, walks, medications, and play or cuddle time. I'm used to mornings, afternoons, and evenings and am flexible based on each pet's needs. When caring for pets in their own environment, i respect their routines, space, and comfort. I follow all instructions carefully - from feeding schedules and medications to favorite toys and walk routes. I provide companionship, keep everything clean and tidy, and send regular updates with photos so you know your pets are safe and loved. I'm calm, confident, and experienced with a variety of temperaments, including shy cats and energetic dogs.

“Patti has cared for my lab, Ellie, numerous times. She has always provided the best care that I could ask for. Ellie loves going to her home and greets her with wags and kisses each and every time. I love that she walks Ellie, plays with her and even snuggles for movies on the sofa, while caring for her. I trust Patti to care for Ellie exclusively under any circumstances, planned or Emergency. She shows her love of animals in a manner that only a true animal lover can display. I have used several sitters on Rover.com and while I do only have positive feedback, I have exclusively used Patti for the past two years.”

Westchase dog parents share their Rover experiences
Adriana and Lauren are the absolute best! They are super willing to work with you and coordinate their schedules and our dog, Louie, absolutely adores them! They even stayed over once when utility workers came to the house unexpected until my husband was able to make it back home. Above and beyond!!

Trinity is great! She walks my super energetic sheepadoodle when I’m at work. She is very attentive and makes sure to care for my doodle as her own. My dog can be weary with strangers and she takes the time to make sure she is comfortable and leaves my home better than she finds it. Cannot recommend her enough!
