About: My care is consistent and detail-oriented. Friends and family ask me to come help with feeding, walking, bathing, and playing to ensure their pets have a quality experience, and build a trusting bond with me! I am a full time teacher until early June. I get off early afternoons and am able to dedicate time outdoors and around the neighborhood on weekends. I enjoy going on walks and runs for daily activity. We have a gated courtyard and ample parks nearby for walks! There is a senior dog that enjoys playing and relaxing outside with your pet. About: I’ve been lucky to share my life with dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have a sweet 9-year-old, 80 lb dog that I rescued as a puppy from Costa Rica. She has anxiety and a handful of health issues—so I’m very comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra love, patience, or meds. I also have a reactive family dog, and I have been through training on how to manage her behavior and am comfortable taking on dogs with similar behaviors. I’m a long-distance cross-country runner, so if your dog is on the more active side I have no problem taking him/her out on a run or walk. Josie is very playful and LOVES other dogs, she would be happy to have a buddy to run around with :) I am available Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday all day. I work Mon/Fri/Sat from 2:30-10:00pm. On the days I don't work, I am free to exercise your pet as much as they like! I have a large fenced in backyard and typically leave the door open for my own dog to come and go as she pleases. I have a medium/large crate set up as well if your dog uses that as a safe space. I have a dog bed in every room of the house and have no rules about pets on the couch. I live near great parks for long walks and have endless dog toys!
