“Alexandra is awesome and deserves the abundance of 5 star reviews she already has! I NEVER feel comfortable letting anyone walk my reactive dogs but I knew within a couple minutes of meeting her that I could trust her to keep my babies safe on a walk even with other dogs around. She also takes fantastic pictures and I loved getting to see my happy dogs on walks with her.”

About: I used to take care of my neighbors pets when I was in high school. I would usually stop by, feed them, let them out, take them for walks, and do sleep overs when needed. I also have been helping my boyfriend take care of his cat while in college. I recently graduated from the University at Buffalo as a D1 athlete. I have a completely free schedule for the summer while I am on a search for jobs. I can help take care of your pets by making sure they are getting enough exercise and stimulation throughout the day with walks or stopping by to play, picking up after them on the way.

“Carrie did great with my girls again! Both of my dogs can be weird with new people, but they love her. Carrie is great at communicating and letting me know whats going on while I’m away!”

About: PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL ANIMALS ARE KID FRIENDLY. I HAVE TWO CHILDREN AGES 9 AND 11 ! My name is Alexandra and am currently located in Rochester/Irondequoit area. I have grown up around all types of animals from cats to dogs, birds, reptiles and fish, even raising a puppy. The main animals I grew up around were both cats and dogs. In my past I have worked at an animal store and had some experience as a pet sitter also. I live with my daughter who is well behaved and also an animal lover. I presently only have two small caged cockatiel birds and am able to move them anywhere in the house if needed to provide more space or comfort for your pets. I am willing to work with other certain types of animals if interested please don’t hesitate to ask. I look forward to working together and meeting all of your animals! I am available Monday to Sunday and some holidays morning to night time (flexible schedule) and willing to work with you for extended times or days I provide a calm and quiet environment. My neighborhood is also quiet and calm when taken outside for walks or to go to the bathroom. I make sure they do not interact with other animals outside of my home and the animals I do have in my home are small and caged in a separate room where the door is always closed. I do not have any other dogs or cats and I do not board from different people at the same time.

“Kat is an excellent dog sitter. My dogs were comfortable from the moment she walked in the door. She takes great photos, is very communicative, all while being incredibly friendly and professional. I highly recommend!”

About: I have owned dogs for over 25 years. I often help out neighbors who go out of town and would like to expand to include boarding in my home or yours. We lost our beloved Toby last May and decided a few months later that from here on out we want to adopt senior dogs. That first opportunity came sooner than we anticipated, and we've had our sweet Martha since October. I work close to home and am able to provide mid-day walks and exercise as I come home each day to do the same for my own dog. I work in education and am home full time during the summer! During the school year I am also home over school breaks and weekends and come home daily during my lunch hour. This gives me time for about a 20 minute walk. If it's pouring rain I'll take your dog out for a quick potty break and make sure s/he is toweled off with a fresh, clean towel. Although I do not have a fenced in yard, I love to walk several miles each day with my dog, and would love to do the same with yours! It is the beginning of May and I am just getting started with my new endeavor. I completely understand owners' hesitancy to book with sitters who don't have many reviews. My hope is to build that trust over the next months. I think if you do a meet and greet with me, you'll feel at ease leaving your loved pup with me.

About: Dogs are my life, as I have three of my own. I cannot imagine my life without them. If you see me at a gathering, I’ll probably be on the floor, playing with or petting the dog. I love dogs and they really seem to like me too! I have trained all three of my dogs, so I am able to follow whatever training procedures you have in place. All of my friends and family members trust me with their fur babies because I treat them like they are my own. I am currently working part-time, so I am able to fit visits or walks in as needed. Afternoons are best, but if I am off on a weekday, or able to stop by before I head into work, I can do that too! I will do my best to follow your routine and procedures so that your pups can have a stress free experience. I am happy to play, sit with them for companionship, check on their water, feed and let out, and scoop poop.

About: What makes me different from other sitters is my attention to detail and my commitment to treating every pet like my own. I tailor my care to each animal’s personality and needs, whether they require lots of activity or just quiet companionship. I’m comfortable with leash training, crate routines, and building trust with anxious or shy pets. I also provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication to keep pet parents informed and reassured. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. I structure my day around the needs of the animals I’m caring for—whether that’s early morning walks, scheduled feedings, medication times, or evening play sessions. I enjoy staying active, so daily walks and outdoor time with dogs are something I genuinely look forward to. I also set aside time for one-on-one interaction, training reinforcement, and keeping living areas clean and comfortable. If I’m doing drop-ins or overnight stays, I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention and aren’t left alone for long stretches. Pet care isn’t something I “fit in”—it’s something I prioritize. When pets stay in my home, I provide a safe, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to relax, play, and feel comfortable. I maintain a consistent routine with feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and quiet time. I always separate pets as needed for safety and comfort, and I make sure each animal has their own space, toys, and bedding. Cleanliness is a top priority, and I supervise interactions closely to ensure a calm and happy home. When I care for pets in their own homes, I do my best to maintain their familiar routines. I follow all care instructions carefully—feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and any behavioral or training cues. I also keep the home tidy, bring in mail or packages if needed, and provide regular updates with photos and notes to give peace of mind. My goal is always to keep your pet happy, healthy, and stress-free in their own environment.

About: I have taken care of my family members dogs, I have my own dog. I have stayed overnight with my brothers dog. Dogs love me and I love them I work full time as a caregiver for my mother and brother but I am absolutely flexible with working around those hours. I am starting my own pet sitting business I will take your pets outside on leash, I will feed them and love on them. Give them food and fresh water. Pick up their bathrooms also.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes, as well as cats! Pet sitting, dog walking, basic grooming, litter box cleaning, and administrating medication are all skills I have experience with. I also have experience with Guinea pigs. I absolutely love animals! I work full time during the school year and am unavailable during that time, but I will be available during summer and holidays. I will be respectful of your space and only go in the necessary rooms and use what is needed to take care of your pet.
