When I was 5 we rescued a greyhound and when she passed we got into fostering other grey hounds. When we found ourselves dog-less again, we discovered our little 9lb furry baby Paige from Lollypop farm — we still have her and she just had her 16th birthday. Since Paige we also adopted a Chi-weenie and a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. I pride myself on being dependable, responsive, and proactive. I send regular updates, photos, and notes so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing. Your peace of mind (and your pup’s happiness) are my top priorities. I primarily work in the office during the week, but I do have the option to work from home — so if your pup needs a little extra time and attention, I can absolutely make that happen! I’ll never let a dog go more than 6–8 hours without care, but if your pup is used to more frequent potty breaks, I’ll make that a priority. I’m also primarily home on the weekends (I actually prefer to have no weekend plans!), which means I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your bestie all day. 🐾 I’m pretty flexible and happy to adjust my schedule to fit your dog’s routine. Just communicate your expectations, and I’m confident we can work out a plan that keeps your pup happy, comfortable, and cared for. I live in a spacious 1,500 sq ft apartment — plenty of room for your pup to explore, play, and relax! While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure every dog gets plenty of outdoor time with frequent walks and potty breaks throughout the day. I don’t currently have any dogs of my own so your pup will have my full attention and the space all to themselves. However, if your dog enjoys the company of other pups, I’d be happy to introduce them to my mom’s 12lb rat terrier/chihuahua/dachshund mix — he’s a friendly little social butterfly who loves making new friends! I don’t currently own a crate, but I’m more than happy to get one if that helps your dog feel more comfortable. I have an abundance of toys for playtime and a ginormous couch perfect for snuggles, naps, and quality cuddle time with my furry guests. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities, and I treat every pup like my own while they’re here. ❤️

About: I've owned cats my entire life. I've been around dogs for the majority of my life as well. I have dog and cat sat for many friends. I also had a recurring job as a dog sitter and daily dog walker for my high school principal. I currently have two cats of my own and my parents have a dog that I have also watched on many occasions. I've even been a cat sitter for a friend who fosters cats and that included taking care of 15 cats at once! I can also care for guinea pigs if need be. I've never watched bunnies, but with instruction from the owner, I can certainly care for them too. I can't care for snakes, sorry, they freak me out. I'm currently employed at a 9-5 job, but it's remote with flexible hours. I love playing with animals and am very good at tiring out energetic pups. I also have experience with fish, reptiles, small pets, and birds as well. I care about any animal’s health and safety first. In my own home, I try to let the dog I’m sitting be as comfortable as possible - whether that’s being my shadow, hanging out on the couch, or supervising the neighborhood through the window. My dog, Banner, is 7 years old, 85lbs, and he loves other dogs - he’s very gentle with older or small dogs, too. The older doodle needs shorter walks in the shade, so sometimes we need to adjust. I thoroughly enjoy the dog park and all the breeds it has to offer. With a little planning, I could certainly accommodate your pet’s needs. Some pets just need to stay home. If you have high speed, secure internet I can hang with your beloved pet all day Monday through Friday. On the weekends I’m happy to fit in an adventure, play around the yard, or snuggle by the window depending on what your pet is up for. If you are looking for a dog walker, I have a lot of extra large breed experience and there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad gear.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes, as well as cats! Pet sitting, dog walking, basic grooming, litter box cleaning, and administrating medication are all skills I have experience with. I also have experience with Guinea pigs. I absolutely love animals! I work full time during the school year and am unavailable during that time, but I will be available during summer and holidays. “This was the first time leaving Nellie (12 yr old female) with any one but family. One week before our 2 week trip, we were left with no one to watch Nellie. We found Amy on Rover and she seemed like a good fit right away. We set up a meet and greet with Nellie and Amy and it went well, and we felt comfortable enough to leave Nellie with her and her family. The most important attribute that Amy had that was important to us was her comfort in administering lots of meds to a very resistant Nellie. Amy had her way and it worked perfectly with Nellie. When I was 5 we rescued a greyhound and when she passed we got into fostering other grey hounds. When we found ourselves dog-less again, we discovered our little 9lb furry baby Paige from Lollypop farm — we still have her and she just had her 16th birthday. Since Paige we also adopted a Chi-weenie and a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. I pride myself on being dependable, responsive, and proactive. I send regular updates, photos, and notes so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing. Your peace of mind (and your pup’s happiness) are my top priorities. I primarily work in the office during the week, but I do have the option to work from home — so if your pup needs a little extra time and attention, I can absolutely make that happen! I’ll never let a dog go more than 6–8 hours without care, but if your pup is used to more frequent potty breaks, I’ll make that a priority. I’m also primarily home on the weekends (I actually prefer to have no weekend plans!), which means I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your bestie all day. 🐾 I’m pretty flexible and happy to adjust my schedule to fit your dog’s routine. Just communicate your expectations, and I’m confident we can work out a plan that keeps your pup happy, comfortable, and cared for. I live in a spacious 1,500 sq ft apartment — plenty of room for your pup to explore, play, and relax! While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure every dog gets plenty of outdoor time with frequent walks and potty breaks throughout the day. I don’t currently have any dogs of my own so your pup will have my full attention and the space all to themselves. However, if your dog enjoys the company of other pups, I’d be happy to introduce them to my mom’s 12lb rat terrier/chihuahua/dachshund mix — he’s a friendly little social butterfly who loves making new friends! I don’t currently own a crate, but I’m more than happy to get one if that helps your dog feel more comfortable. I have an abundance of toys for playtime and a ginormous couch perfect for snuggles, naps, and quality cuddle time with my furry guests. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities, and I treat every pup like my own while they’re here. ❤️
