When I was 5 we rescued a greyhound and when she passed we got into fostering other grey hounds. When we found ourselves dog-less again, we discovered our little 9lb furry baby Paige from Lollypop farm — we still have her and she just had her 16th birthday. Since Paige we also adopted a Chi-weenie and a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. I pride myself on being dependable, responsive, and proactive. I send regular updates, photos, and notes so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing. Your peace of mind (and your pup’s happiness) are my top priorities. I primarily work in the office during the week, but I do have the option to work from home — so if your pup needs a little extra time and attention, I can absolutely make that happen! I’ll never let a dog go more than 6–8 hours without care, but if your pup is used to more frequent potty breaks, I’ll make that a priority. I’m also primarily home on the weekends (I actually prefer to have no weekend plans!), which means I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your bestie all day. 🐾 I’m pretty flexible and happy to adjust my schedule to fit your dog’s routine. Just communicate your expectations, and I’m confident we can work out a plan that keeps your pup happy, comfortable, and cared for. I live in a spacious 1,500 sq ft apartment — plenty of room for your pup to explore, play, and relax! While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure every dog gets plenty of outdoor time with frequent walks and potty breaks throughout the day. I don’t currently have any dogs of my own so your pup will have my full attention and the space all to themselves. However, if your dog enjoys the company of other pups, I’d be happy to introduce them to my mom’s 12lb rat terrier/chihuahua/dachshund mix — he’s a friendly little social butterfly who loves making new friends! I don’t currently own a crate, but I’m more than happy to get one if that helps your dog feel more comfortable. I have an abundance of toys for playtime and a ginormous couch perfect for snuggles, naps, and quality cuddle time with my furry guests. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities, and I treat every pup like my own while they’re here. ❤️

About: I’ve taken care of cats ever since I was 17-18 years old. I have watched friends cats and I have watched family’s dogs. I am a quick learner if there is something special you need me to do for your pet. While I have not babysat dogs that often, I am very good with them and have taken care of them before I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to walk, play with and take care of your furry little friends/family. I have a cat of my own as well as ferrets that I take care of everyday and play with and I’d be happy to do it for you. As I live in an apartment, they do not allow me to dog sit here. “We are new to the area and didn't know anyone who could watch our dogs for the day while we moved from our rental into our new house, so using Rover was an obvious choice. We needed someone to pick up our two dogs early at the rental and drop them off late at the new house and Adriana agreed to both. Even when I contacted her to ask if she could keep them a little longer since the move wasn't complete, she agreed to do so without any additional fees. She didn't even complain when one of the dogs threw up in her car and defecated in her home. (Sorry about that!) I would definitely call on Adriana again if the need arises.”
About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. About: I have been walking dogs for over 10 years as neighbors had me walk their dogs when I was young. I house and dog sit for my family. I volunteered with a rescue for two years and currently foster for a rescue that I’ve been with for about 4-5 years. I work 8-5 every weekday. I’m good at giving animals space when i know they’re scared or nervous and really make sure I earn an animals trust. I have a beautiful 2 year old baby girl. There is a chance she would be with me for walks and drop ins depending on what day of the week it is. If your pet has any habits or preferences i would like to know them (how they’re fed, favorite toy, favorite place to be pet or scratched). I work full time but have a 10 month old pitty mix at home. I’m home by 5pm every day and leave between 8/9am depending on if I have my daughter or if she’s with her dad. I have a pup of my own we live in an apartment but we go on daily walks. We like using a harness over just a collar because we don’t want to risk him slipping out of it.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.

About: I started caring for dogs when my friend and I began our own dog walking business at the age of 11. Since then, I've cared for pets of all sizes including my own.
