Marie took her on long walks and, in the process, taught her how to stay focused on the walking, rather than on every stick, bug, squirrel, car, etc., that came within eyesight. Marie also sent multiple pictures daily as well as reports on how Luna was doing. I primarily work in the office during the week, but I do have the option to work from home — so if your pup needs a little extra time and attention, I can absolutely make that happen! I’ll never let a dog go more than 6–8 hours without care, but if your pup is used to more frequent potty breaks, I’ll make that a priority. I’m also primarily home on the weekends (I actually prefer to have no weekend plans!), which means I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your bestie all day. 🐾 I’m pretty flexible and happy to adjust my schedule to fit your dog’s routine. Just communicate your expectations, and I’m confident we can work out a plan that keeps your pup happy, comfortable, and cared for. I live in a spacious 1,500 sq ft apartment — plenty of room for your pup to explore, play, and relax! While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure every dog gets plenty of outdoor time with frequent walks and potty breaks throughout the day. I don’t currently have any dogs of my own so your pup will have my full attention and the space all to themselves. However, if your dog enjoys the company of other pups, I’d be happy to introduce them to my mom’s 12lb rat terrier/chihuahua/dachshund mix — he’s a friendly little social butterfly who loves making new friends! I don’t currently own a crate, but I’m more than happy to get one if that helps your dog feel more comfortable. I have an abundance of toys for playtime and a ginormous couch perfect for snuggles, naps, and quality cuddle time with my furry guests. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities, and I treat every pup like my own while they’re here. ❤️

About: Hello all! My name is Emily. I’ve been a dog lover my entire life. When I was 9 years old we got our family dog (a Havanese) and 6 years ago I adopted my soul dog petunia rose (pitbull). I sadly lost petunia in July to cancer and helped her daily for the last 6 months. If you are looking for a walker, a sitter for the day, someone to administer meds, or just sit with and give some love while you’re at work, I'm your girl. I know how protective of my soul dog I was and I understand that trust is needed when going into someone’s home and watching their baby. I can assure you that I am a trust worthy, respectful and loving person who will treat your animal as if it were my own. I can’t wait to see all the fluffy babies I get to meet! I currently work full time Monday through Friday. Tuesday and Thursdays I work from Buffalo and Monday, Wednesday, Friday I work from home. I would be available MWF after 4pm and T/TH after 630. I’m free all day on Saturdays and Sundays! I make sure to ask questions and follow directions that are left by the owner carefully. I only go into rooms I am allowed and only touch items that are a part of caring for your animal. Your home is your home and I am only there to do a job of watching after your child! I will only feed your dog what I am told to, and respect all boundaries.

I grew up with a cat who was part of my family from childhood until he passed away a few years ago, so I have many years of firsthand experience caring for and living with cats. They are truly one of my favorite pets, and I especially love how every cat has such a unique personality. I am a quick learner if there is something special you need me to do for your pet. While I have not babysat dogs that often, I am very good with them and have taken care of them before I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to walk, play with and take care of your furry little friends/family. About: I have been walking dogs for over 10 years as neighbors had me walk their dogs when I was young. I house and dog sit for my family. I volunteered with a rescue for two years and currently foster for a rescue that I’ve been with for about 4-5 years. I work 8-5 every weekday. I’m home by 5pm every day and leave between 8/9am depending on if I have my daughter or if she’s with her dad. I have a pup of my own we live in an apartment but we go on daily walks. We like using a harness over just a collar because we don’t want to risk him slipping out of it.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.

There were two times that she canceled morning of and, with that late notice, I was not able to leave work or get anyone else to take him out.
