One of our dogs has a medical condition requiring daily vitamins and sometimes medication. Emily was vigilant in watching our animals for signs of health or discomfort. Emily went above and beyond with taking in packages and mail while we were away as well. We came home to very happy animals. We would gladly hire Emily again!”

About: New to Rover! I have 20+ years, like most of you, taking care of dogs (all ages & size) walking, training & loving. Raised in Rochester & know all the best parks & trails. I have an SUV and don’t mind taking the dogs places if requested. Night shift worker during the week, I make lots of time for my puppy at home and would love to make time for your dog during the day. I’m available all days of the week, unfortunately that doesn’t mean I’m available all the time but can make time each day of the week if necessary. Just reach out, your odds are high that I can help I know how important pets are to everyone’s family and will treat yours like you do at home, or better :) Learning your dogs behavior is a key to success, the more information the better (behavior around dogs, people, children, chewing, barking) to know if they are acting different in any way. I get excited each time I meet new parents of dogs, i wouldn’t trust some nobody with my dog unless I got to know them first, I am in my mid twenties and have lived in pittsford/penfield for most of life, I do not drink if that matters to you, I’d say based off appearance I look pretty clean unless it’s cold out then you may only be seeing what’s visible under my hood or hat. I’m well educated in the do’s and don’ts on what is safe and unsafe for dogs and puppies to accidentally eat. Coming from a family that has dealt with Lyme Disease I take precaution in where my dogs are roaming, and always checking my puppy and past dogs constantly for ticks

About: I love my dogs and I would like to pamper yours in the comfort of their own home during a drop in visit or a four hour day visit. I have 27 years of experience with canines and raised my pup into the dog as seen in the black and white photo. I had a senior dog of his breed years ago. I can do basic training, if you wish, with positive methods: sit, drop, shake, down, stay, etc. I will feed your dog or puppy as per your instructions. Playtime is always a good time when I am around! We have our doggy spa days every 5 weeks: nails, a bath, & a cookie or two. Nap time is at 3PM at home. Cookies/treats are given for training and are a positive reinforcement method. Within the past year, I crate trained my older dog, so that she would go potty outside. She started to forget what to do. I have a fence at my home. My dogs love the fresh air and to chase after the occasional ball. My Polish Hound uses a probiotic in his food for his sensitive stomach. My older Staffie occasionally likes her "special" food. So, I sometimes add a Milo's meatball to her food. Simparica Trio keeps them healthy and happy.
About: I was born and raised to love dogs. I grew up in a household that bred Rottweilers and I could not be anymore grateful for the lessons of love and care for animals it instilled in me. I began caring for other's pets when I was in high school. Over a decade later I have had experience in short and long-term overnight care/house sitting, day-visits, walks, and some medication administration for pets of all ages and sizes. About: Hi, I am a volunteer EMT and have a life long passion for dogs and all animals. On my spare time, my wife (Melinda) and I enjoy various aspects of the outdoors, no matter the season. We frequently pet sit for my brother-in law's German Shepard, who is full of energy, of which I have learned all the commands and public interaction techniques. I can’t say enough good things about Steph. She does a midday check-in for our 1 yo Australian shepherd a few days a week and he absolutely loves her. He can be a little particular about who he decides is part of the pack and Steph was able to warm him up very quickly, no doubt due to her extensive experience with animals. Steph’s communication is excellent, she’s willing to tailor her service to our dog’s needs and I have total peace of mind leaving our fur baby in her hands because she’s proven to be capable and dependable. She’s even brought one of her dogs and/or kids along sometimes to help us socialize him because I mentioned he struggled with those things. 10/10 would recommend booking Steph.
Sara was great with our furbabies. Our dog Ruaty went for lots of walks and had plenty of playtime. She also took initiative and adjusted the times based on Rusty's needs, took him for walks early on before the weather got too hot, and reached out with questions or any issues that came up. Sara sent photos and updates after each visit and was always responsive when I reached out. We hope to use Sara again when we go away.
Donna truly understands cats: it's obvious, and my cat Sisu loved her the minute he met her. I came home to happy loving beast, very tidy feeding area, clean cat-box. I have a feeling Donna spent plenty of time cuddling Sisu -- he's usually a lot more antsy when I get home from a trip. Would recommend Donna with my whole heart, and if she's available, request her again. Sisu would be glad to see her as well. If you're looking for super-cat-whisperer, it's Donna. She also, very kindly, brought in the mail.
