I love walking dogs on sidewalks, through neighborhoods and established nature trails that are nearby. I also enjoy playing fetch with dogs and entertaining ats with their toys.

Pet care experience
I have loved animals since I was a child. I've owned just about any type of animal you can think of, from cats and birds to lizards, turtles, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs and prairie dogs! Over 30 years of experience if you count my childhood. I love all types of animals and will treat your pets like my own when caring for them. My pets are part of my family and your pets will receive the same love and care when you trust me to watch over them for you! If you have any questions about my ability to take care of your pet while you are away, please ask! I am willing to learn for animals that I may not have experience with, but I guarantee that I have experience with similar animals, no matter how exotic. I currently work full time during the day, but am available for drop in visits and walks in the afternoons and evenings M-F and anytime on the weekends or during school breaks. I currently have a dog and a guinea pig in my home. Unfortunately my own dog does not always play well with others, so I am currently only available for drop in visits to your home or walks.
Reviews
Once again Amanda has come through for our three kitties. We had the longest ever trip away from them in Europe and she kept them happy and healthy. This was a bit of a challenge toward then end as the Canadian wildfires did not mix well with our allergic cat who was in a bit of a funk. We were in daily contact with Amanda and were able to change air filter settings and Hershey bounced back in time for our return home. What a relief, and everyone appreciated seeing our detailed report cards and photos as we travelled. We love working with Amanda!
As always Amanda is amazing with our three kitties. We also scheduled her during the Storm of 2026 (sorry!) and she handled our crazy sloped driveway and disrupted travel plans like a pro. Thanks again!!
Our cats happily looked forward to Amanda's daily visits and were not at all anxious when we got home. Vacations are great not having to worry about our kitties!
Another great visit from Amanda, our four-legged family was very happy to see her each day and we greatly enjoyed our vacation knowing they were in good hands. Thanks!
