About: I have cared for my family dogs and cats since I was young. This means cleaning litter pans, dog poop, brushing and bathing, walking, playing and cuddling with my pets. i’ve had my husky since she was a puppy as well as my kittys. My availability is every weekend and weekdays besides a few hours on Monday Tuesday Thursday that I have classes, I am available in the weekday. Caring for your pets would be a breath of fresh air for me as I miss my pets at home. When caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs. Here’s how I approach it: Consistency and Routine: I ensure that pets are fed, exercised, and receive attention at the same times each day to maintain a sense of security. For dogs, I stick to a walking schedule based on their energy levels and preferences. Personalized Attention: Every pet has its own personality. I take the time to understand their behavior, preferences, and any special needs. This might mean providing extra cuddles for a shy pet or stimulating playtime for a high-energy one. Safety First: At a client’s home, I make sure the environment is pet-proofed. I ensure doors and gates are secured, and I keep harmful substances (like cleaning supplies) out of reach. Exercise and Enrichment: I keep pets mentally and physically engaged with activities like walks, fetch, whatever depending on the pet’s needs. Communication: I can provide regular updates to pet owners, including photos and texts, so they’re always in the loop and feel confident their pet is in good hands. Health Monitoring: I keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or health, such as appetite loss or lethargy, and communicate with the pet’s owner promptly if any concerns arise. Whether at my home or theirs, the goal is always to ensure pets feel loved, safe, and cared for in a familiar, low-stress environment.
