1. Hannah R.

“Hannah was wonderful staying with our pets while we took a week long trip abroad! She gave regular updates, pictures, and was super mindful of our senior dog’s needs. It brought us such peace of mind knowing she was home with them and that the dogs could be comfortable in their own space. She went above and beyond in giving them meds, handling their mealtimes (sometimes difficult with our finicky senior dog), going for daily walks and having a good “read” on their wellbeing!! Thank you Hannah for taking care of everything!”

2. Melissa C.

“Melissa does a great job making us feel comfortable leaving the dogs in her care. She sends lots of pictures and messages. We hope to have her back again soon!”

“Ona took excellent care of our pups! Very responsive and kept us up to date with pictures several times a day. Went above & beyond to bring in a few packages that showed up while we were away as well.”

7. Deja S.

8. Emilia L.
About: Hi there! I’m Emilia — a rising sophomore at the University of Rochester and a lifelong animal lover who believes pets make the best teachers (and comedians). For over 7 years, I’ve been lucky enough to care for dogs, cats, and all sorts of furry (and sometimes feathery and scaley) friends for busy families and professionals throughout Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia. I’ve also spent time working at an animal shelter, where I cared for a wonderful mix of animals, each with their own quirky personalities and lovable charm, and helped many of them find their forever homes. But beyond all that, my greatest teacher has been my beloved pit bull, Jubal, who has taught me the true meaning of patience, unconditional love, and the importance of belly rubs at just the right moment. Because I’m a pet parent myself, I know firsthand how much love, attention, and silly voices go into making sure our pets feel safe and happy — and I promise to bring that same care to yours. Whether your pet is big, small, shy, neighborhood social butterfly or a little spoiled (no judgment — so is Jubal), I’ll treat them like family and make sure they get all the love and attention they deserve! I am currently in school, but my schedule is flexible and I can arrange to have most of my day available to provide your pets with as much attention as they need. Booking in advance 1 or 2 days is preferable so I can re-arrange my schedule to best accommodate you and your pets. My approach to pet care is centered around love, compassion, and respect. I believe that pets thrive on positive reinforcement and encouragement rather than strict discipline or punishment. I treat every pet I care for with the same attention and respect that I give my own, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. I’m also an active person who loves going for walks and playing outside, so I’ll make sure your dog gets the exercise and mental stimulation they need to stay happy and healthy. Rest assured, I’m dedicated to providing your pet with a fun, fulfilling, and loving experience while they’re in my care.

9. Tori S.

“Tori was a great sitter for our two high energy 65+ lb dogs. One of our dogs is reactive to strangers especially in our home and Tori took the time to come meet him multiple times before the sitting to make sure he was comfortable. She was also very responsive and reliable. Would recommend!”

10. Pilar O.

“We love Pilar! She is very attentive to our 150 lb Giant Alaskan Malamute. Pilar keeps us updated daily with pictures and messages. She’s very sweet and our Malamute just loves her. We highly recommend her for overnight stays and visits!”

11. Morgan A.

“Morgan is a great sitter, I appreciated receiving photo updates throughout the day and it was good to see the cats happy and content back home while I was away. Would certainly book with her again!”

12. Nikki E.

“Pups loved Nikki, and we could not have been more grateful for her quick responsiveness to a very last minute booking. Will definitely request again!”

13. Sarah L.

“Sarah took great care of my dog and gave her exercise every day. I liked receiving photos while I was away to see my dog looked happy. I was able to enjoy being away knowing my house and dog were in good hands. I'll definitely re-book with Sarah in the future.”

14. Robyn C.

“Robyn was wonderful with my senior dog! She communicated often and sent pictures, which made me feel confident my girl was well cared for. I can't recommend Robyn enough for dog/house sitting! She is extremely responsible and I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again!”

15. Alexandria V.

“Alexandria was attentive and kind to our elderly dog and senior cat. The cat spent her days napping in Alex’s lap and the anxious dog was calmed by her presence. She gave us a daily update with photos. Highly recommend!”

16. Diana T.

“Diana was wonderful! We had to cancel and reschedule our trip last minute and she was so understanding! She kept communication with us despite our poor cell service on our vacation and our house looks like no one was even here! I’m sure Renegade had a blast with you. Thank you Diana!”

17. Uno V.
“Uno is amazing with dogs and I’d trust her with anything! I have a 3 month old puppy and she’s great with her. She’s very kind, responsible, and definitely a dog lover. I definitely recommend!”

18. Caroline D.

“Caroline loved up on my pup! Thank you!”

19. Michaela S.
“I am delighted to highly recommend Mia as an exceptional pet care provider. Mia's academic achievements at Duquesne University’s Rangos School of Health Sciences reflects her dedication and responsibility. Beyond her impressive educational background, Mia brings invaluable firsthand experience as a pet owner, having raised a cat and dog from their puppy and kitten stages to now thriving as senior pets. Her genuine love for animals, combined with her academic prowess, makes Mia an outstanding choice for those seeking a caring and responsible caregiver for their beloved pets.”

20. Lori L.

“Once again, Lori cared for our dog Katrina and cat Ethel while we were away, and she demonstrated the loving and attentive concern for our pets that we have come to expect from her. We can count on her to do an outstanding job of caring for our pets and keeping us informed as to their well-being. Lori goes out of her way to make them comfortable and content while we are away. We look forward to having Lori watch our pets in the future.”
