“Mindy was able to come to walk Oscar on an "asap" basis. I broke my leg in two places and can't walk him. My regular walker had an emergency and I had no one else. Oscar loved Mindy and even barked at the door when she left. I would definitely use her again and would highly recommend her!”

“Jamie has quickly become our go-to for our busy days when we need someone to walk our dog! She treats our girl with love - just what we want for someone taking care of our furry family member!!”

About: Adopted a whippet 5 years ago named Boo. She’s a certified therapy dog and is incredibly well behaved. I myself taught her how to sit, stay, twirl in a circle, give paw and to touch her nose to my fist. I’ll have no issue training your puppy, just as much as I’ll have no issue in administering medications to your doggy as well. Any special routines they may have as well, I have no problem following it to a T! I’m currently unemployed so I’ll be available anytime you may need me to watch your pets. Weekdays, weekends and even staying the night! I also have my own car so if for whatever reason an emergency vet trip is needed to be made, I can do so safely and quickly. I have a fenced in backyard and a 4 year old whippet who loves to play chase. Mostly because you can’t catch her. She has her own kennel that she sleeps in. Anything you have listed for me to do in your home, will be completed, while ensuring your pet is getting enough attention of course. I will follow your instructions to a T.

Can also be available in most school breaks and holidays as well. We live playing with our dog at home but also live to snuggle too. I am open to whatever your dog may need. About: About myself..I’ve always had pets. Mostly dogs since I was 5 and a few kitties. I currently have two of darling sister kitties. They’re 7 yrs. old and very sweet, easy going and love eachother deeply. They get along with everyone & other pets. I worked caring for cats & dogs for a Professional Dog Trainer who also boarded pets. I walked, fed, bathed and groomed them. Assisted in their training, as well. I work mostly days but I’m an Independent Contractor and I can set my schedule to fit anything else I’m doing. I’m also a Visual Artist . I photograph pets and paint. I have a large apartment and can separate your pet if need be or care for them in your home. They will be walked regularly (dogs) played with & fed. I prefer set schedules. I’m an Independent Contractor, so I can work around any schedule. I’m very flexible. I love to work from home, so I have a very comfortable & safe environment. I don’t have a fenced yard but I live in the Village of Fairport. Potter Park is very close by. I’m very protective of animals. My cats are indoor cats. I always use a leash with dogs. I get along with ever pet I meet, as they are aware I love them.
“Aracely let out and fed my puppy midday for 2 months until the end of my school year. She took great care of my little guy. There were two times that she canceled morning of and, with that late notice, I was not able to leave work or get anyone else to take him out. I understand life happens but my little guy did go to the bathroom in his crate both of those days. If I could give 4 1/2 stars, I would!”

About: New to Rover! I have 20+ years, like most of you, taking care of dogs (all ages & size) walking, training & loving. Raised in Rochester & know all the best parks & trails. I have an SUV and don’t mind taking the dogs places if requested. Night shift worker during the week, I make lots of time for my puppy at home and would love to make time for your dog during the day. I’m available all days of the week, unfortunately that doesn’t mean I’m available all the time but can make time each day of the week if necessary. Just reach out, your odds are high that I can help I know how important pets are to everyone’s family and will treat yours like you do at home, or better :) Learning your dogs behavior is a key to success, the more information the better (behavior around dogs, people, children, chewing, barking) to know if they are acting different in any way. I get excited each time I meet new parents of dogs, i wouldn’t trust some nobody with my dog unless I got to know them first, I am in my mid twenties and have lived in pittsford/penfield for most of life, I do not drink if that matters to you, I’d say based off appearance I look pretty clean unless it’s cold out then you may only be seeing what’s visible under my hood or hat. I’m well educated in the do’s and don’ts on what is safe and unsafe for dogs and puppies to accidentally eat. Coming from a family that has dealt with Lyme Disease I take precaution in where my dogs are roaming, and always checking my puppy and past dogs constantly for ticks
“Robert was great with Lulu and would recommend his walking services. He was on time, texted me updates and photos throughout their walks. I appreciate that he came to meet me and lulu in person before the scheduled walks to get acquainted with her and her routine. Thanks again Robert!”

“Sari was absolutely amazing! She is dependable, thoughtful, and caring, and she genuinely loves animals. She surpassed our expectations. I would hire her again without any hesitation!”

About: Hi, I am a volunteer EMT and have a life long passion for dogs and all animals. On my spare time, my wife (Melinda) and I enjoy various aspects of the outdoors, no matter the season. We frequently pet sit for my brother-in law's German Shepard, who is full of energy, of which I have learned all the commands and public interaction techniques. This has been ongoing for approximately the past 4 years. * Melinda and I extensively clean and disinfect our house not only before and after each dog but also on a regular basis as well. We are excited to be part of your dog care needs and you can be sure your pets will be well taken care of with us as a smooth transition. Whether it is walking, playing, or pet sitting, we are here to help! Please message us as you know your plans. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to hearing from you! Conveniently I work very close to home and can come home to check on the puppy on my lunch break though that time varies from day to day. We have a long lead in our backyard that we can adjust accordingly and we are always outside with your fur-baby. We also have friendly neighbors and multiple eyes checking in periodically. My wife and I have a fleece-lined jacket 4 any puppy to help combat the weather. Additionally we have couch protectors, Memory Foam bed, a basket of toys, and food and water dish set up

About: I have had animals my whole life and have a passion and love for them. Getting to take care and play with them on my days off is a joy. I have had pets that range from a Mastiff to French Bulldogs and even reptiles of all kinds. In my younger years I was a dog groomer as well so I have experience with many dogs from many backgrounds. I will treat your animals with the same love and care that I treat my own. I currently have a small zoo of 14 pets, each one very loved and cared for. I am comfortable with all animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, small rodents and reptiles. I am willing to work with dogs that have special needs or medical care as well. My nursing background helps me to carry it over to your furry friends. I will show as much care and compassion to your furry companions as I do my patients. They will have my focus and attention while caring for them. I work as a gas station clerk Fri-Sun from 3-1030. Otherwise I am free for your pet. I also have to make sure I can get public transportation to work as well I make sure to treat your fur babies like my own. They will get as much love an attention possible. I love to keep you updated with daily messages and pictures. I would be willing to do things you need around the house while you are gone such as bringing in mail, taking out garbage bins, watering plants, and making sure your home is the same as you left it!
About: Hi! I’ve had dogs/numerous other pets my entire life and I couldn’t imagine a home without them. As an adult, I’ve even raised a puppy, which gave me firsthand experience with training, patience, and consistency. Along with dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for multiple other pets over the years, so I understand that every animal has their own unique personality and needs. I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for family, friends, and neighbors, etc. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping their routine consistent while you’re away, I’ll make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and happy. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so communication and reliability are always my top priorities. I’d love the chance to give your pet the same love and attention I give my own. 🐶 Because I work from home, pet care naturally fits into my day to day. Having a flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent attention, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and snuggles throughout the day. I’m able to adjust my work around your pet’s needs, whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, giving extra exercise, or simply being present so they’re never lonely. Caring for pets isn’t just something I “fit in”—it’s a part of my everyday life and something I truly enjoy. Whether in your home or mine, I stick to your pet’s routine and give them lots of love, care, and attention. Your pet will always be treated like family!
