There were two times that she canceled morning of and, with that late notice, I was not able to leave work or get anyone else to take him out. About: I love dogs. I’ve always had dogs growing up. And currently have a 4 yr old lab. I’ve helped take care of neighbors dogs with needs in older age and who doesn’t love a puppy?! Not only will walking your dog keep them healthy it helps me keep healthy too! Win win! I am a full time teacher so dog walking and pet care is just a fun summer time thing. Can also be available in most school breaks and holidays as well. We live playing with our dog at home but also live to snuggle too. I am open to whatever your dog may need. About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I'd love to give your dog my unconditional love and undivided attention. Your baby is not just a pet, they are our best friends who depend on us. About: I have been walking dogs for over 10 years as neighbors had me walk their dogs when I was young. I house and dog sit for my family. I volunteered with a rescue for two years and currently foster for a rescue that I’ve been with for about 4-5 years. I work 8-5 every weekday. I’m good at giving animals space when i know they’re scared or nervous and really make sure I earn an animals trust. I have a beautiful 2 year old baby girl. There is a chance she would be with me for walks and drop ins depending on what day of the week it is. If your pet has any habits or preferences i would like to know them (how they’re fed, favorite toy, favorite place to be pet or scratched). I work full time but have a 10 month old pitty mix at home. I’m home by 5pm every day and leave between 8/9am depending on if I have my daughter or if she’s with her dad. I have a pup of my own we live in an apartment but we go on daily walks. We like using a harness over just a collar because we don’t want to risk him slipping out of it.
