About: I have always had dogs since I was about 3 years old. No matter the size or breed, I love caring for 4-legged friends! I currently have 3 dogs, Phoebe, an adult pit mix, Petunia, a young shepherd mix, and Phillip, a Great Pyr/Great Dane mix…all adopted from Austin Pets Alive!. I have specific experience volunteering (walking dogs, cleaning, etc.) at a humane society where the majority of adoptable dogs were larger and of the American Staffordshire Terrier breed. I have also regularly watched my friends' dogs when they have gone on vacations. I believe positive reinforcement goes a long way, particularly with food motivated pooches. I’m available most days and times without issue! I do request as much advance notice as you can provide but am open to same day bookings when my schedule allows. I have a fully fenced yard to provide a secure space if they are coming to my home. I am very comfortable taking them on neighborhood walks if they are comfortable. I only use non-retractable leashes and positive reinforcement (treats and affirmations) to engage with your dog. I’ve taken dog CPR training as well.

About: I have loved and had dogs my entire life! I currently have three! I have been dog sitting for over 5 years and actively dog walking for 1 (that is, besides walking my own dogs my entire life!). About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.

About: I love working with animals, I can help train dogs and I like to play with them and take them on walks. I also can help train cats/kittens if needed too. I am able to help 3-4 times a week throughout the day. Monday to Thursday would work best to walk dogs or stop in to play with them and feed them. About: I have always had a love for animals since I can remember. I rescued and rehabbed two feral kittens that were living under a dumpster to my own rescued pup. I have had guest dogs in my home from tiny to extra large. They always received the same care as my own dog from sleeping in bed with us to plenty of walks and outdoor time. They will be in great, responsible hands with me! I currently have my own business so I make my schedule. I can be flexible with days of the week and times even with last minute notice. I always ensure the pets are secure via leash before leaving the home to go for walks or when they are "in" for the day (crates, baby gate - no matter their set up). I also gather all the information about the animal - any reactions to certain situations, recall cues etc prior to visits.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since childhood so am familiar and comfortable with walking, feeding, cleaning and taking care of animals. Our family loves dogs and since we don’t have one at the moment we’re enjoying spending time with the dogs we dog-sit for! I’m currently a stay at home Mom and home most of the week, so able to walk a dog easily or take it out to the bathroom as needed. I have a large fenced in yard for your dog to enjoy. I live in a suburban neighborhood easy to walk a dog in. I can crate your dog if required.

About: I have been a pet sitter, and dog-walker for 3 years in Maine. I am extremely caring and detail-oriented when taking care of new furry friends. I have raised a Double Doodle puppy, and am happy to work on positive reinforcement training with puppies! I am available for dog-walks at night after 6pm as well as open on the weekends for house sitting and checking in on pets while the owner is traveling. I am happy to evaluate the space where the pet sleeps, eats, and where the best areas for walks are in the neighborhood. For house-sitting appointments, a designated space to sleep is preferred to be able to care for the animal overnight as needed.
