About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.

About: I'm a chemist turned Rover sitter, specializing in training, sitting, and walking dogs of all ages, sizes, and levels of demand. My last dog got me onto Rover - I poured much love into training and caring for my Great Dane full-time before he passed. With my newfound free time, I teach STEM to K-12 learners, serve as a Director at a Great Dane rescue organization, and volunteer at an animal shelter. (This also means LOTS of disinfections and showering before and after I go anywhere - especially your home - trust that I diligently do everything in my power to keep your furry baby and their space clean, safe, and in good health!) I have a flexible schedule, an athletic background, and loads of energy (along with a competitive Oura Circle with my husband) for drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays. I've attended AKC Star Puppy, Teen Puppy Obedience, CGC, and Therapy Dog training with my dogs, and am now working towards a training certification. Caring for a sick Dane entailed safely carrying a 150-lb dog into and out of a car, administering medicine, post-op incision and wound care, communication, and record-keeping of his daily health observations. Volunteering at an animal shelter has conditioned me to care and advocate for animals exhibiting a range of behaviors and wellness states. Thanks to my loving and supportive husband, I have a very flexible schedule to do the things I love! My only two commitments are running around the yard with the most precious Lab twice a week (S.O. Lacey boo) at noon and two hours of volunteering at Lollypop Farm. I serve my rescue directorial role from my laptop, so your dog will never be left unsupervised for an extended period. Please keep in mind that my availability is secured by payment and not by time of request. In Your Home: Shoes are always off, and muddy paws are always wiped when entering your home. I always start our session by pup & home wellness checks before play, and I always finish with wind-down scratches before I leave. No poop or messes are ever left behind or undocumented. I send an average of 5-7 photos per visit, and you’re always welcome to request more photos or videos to feel confident that your pup is having their best time. Doggy daycare: I own a 3,000-square-foot ranch-style home with easy sliding-door access to a fenced-in yard with a heated pool that opens in the summer! Our home areas are thoroughly dog-proofed, free of tripping and choking hazards, toxic plants or cleaning agents, and access to food or trash. The entire play area is visible from the kitchen while prepping food and medication for your pup. Minimal traffic on our street makes for ideal loose-leash walking trips. When not playing, your dog can enjoy watching doggy TV on any of my six (or seven?) orthopedic dog beds.

About: I love working with animals, I can help train dogs and I like to play with them and take them on walks. I also can help train cats/kittens if needed too. I am able to help 3-4 times a week throughout the day. Monday to Thursday would work best to walk dogs or stop in to play with them and feed them. I can care for pets at clients homes, I have reliable transportation. I am able to feed pets, play with them walk them and socialize if needed to.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since childhood so am familiar and comfortable with walking, feeding, cleaning and taking care of animals. Our family loves dogs and since we don’t have one at the moment we’re enjoying spending time with the dogs we dog-sit for! I’m currently a stay at home Mom and home most of the week, so able to walk a dog easily or take it out to the bathroom as needed. I have a large fenced in yard for your dog to enjoy. I live in a suburban neighborhood easy to walk a dog in. I can crate your dog if required.

About: I have always had dogs since I was about 3 years old. No matter the size or breed, I love caring for 4-legged friends! I currently have 3 dogs, Phoebe, an adult pit mix, Petunia, a young shepherd mix, and Phillip, a Great Pyr/Great Dane mix…all adopted from Austin Pets Alive!. I have specific experience volunteering (walking dogs, cleaning, etc.) at a humane society where the majority of adoptable dogs were larger and of the American Staffordshire Terrier breed. I have also regularly watched my friends' dogs when they have gone on vacations. I believe positive reinforcement goes a long way, particularly with food motivated pooches. I’m available most days and times without issue! I do request as much advance notice as you can provide but am open to same day bookings when my schedule allows. I have a fully fenced yard to provide a secure space if they are coming to my home. I am very comfortable taking them on neighborhood walks if they are comfortable. I only use non-retractable leashes and positive reinforcement (treats and affirmations) to engage with your dog. I’ve taken dog CPR training as well.

About: I have been a pet sitter, and dog-walker for 3 years in Maine. I am extremely caring and detail-oriented when taking care of new furry friends. I have raised a Double Doodle puppy, and am happy to work on positive reinforcement training with puppies! I am available for dog-walks at night after 6pm as well as open on the weekends for house sitting and checking in on pets while the owner is traveling. I am happy to evaluate the space where the pet sleeps, eats, and where the best areas for walks are in the neighborhood. For house-sitting appointments, a designated space to sleep is preferred to be able to care for the animal overnight as needed.

About: I have always had a love for animals since I can remember. I rescued and rehabbed two feral kittens that were living under a dumpster to my own rescued pup. I have had guest dogs in my home from tiny to extra large. They always received the same care as my own dog from sleeping in bed with us to plenty of walks and outdoor time. They will be in great, responsible hands with me! I currently have my own business so I make my schedule. I can be flexible with days of the week and times even with last minute notice. I always ensure the pets are secure via leash before leaving the home to go for walks or when they are "in" for the day (crates, baby gate - no matter their set up). I also gather all the information about the animal - any reactions to certain situations, recall cues etc prior to visits.
