About: I have always had dogs since I was about 3 years old. No matter the size or breed, I love caring for 4-legged friends! I currently have 3 dogs, Phoebe, an adult pit mix, Petunia, a young shepherd mix, and Phillip, a Great Pyr/Great Dane mix…all adopted from Austin Pets Alive!. I have specific experience volunteering (walking dogs, cleaning, etc.) at a humane society where the majority of adoptable dogs were larger and of the American Staffordshire Terrier breed. I have also regularly watched my friends' dogs when they have gone on vacations. I believe positive reinforcement goes a long way, particularly with food motivated pooches. I’m available most days and times without issue! I do request as much advance notice as you can provide but am open to same day bookings when my schedule allows. I have a fully fenced yard to provide a secure space if they are coming to my home. I am very comfortable taking them on neighborhood walks if they are comfortable. I only use non-retractable leashes and positive reinforcement (treats and affirmations) to engage with your dog. I’ve taken dog CPR training as well.

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child. I grew up on a farm and had to care for the family pets. I have watched a plethora of dog breeds for a night, weekend, week, or just to check in. I have experience clipping nails, bathing, and administering medications. I love pet snuggles and giving treats as well as being very active with my pet friends!! We can be flexible with pet sitting needs and am able to provide services during the day, evenings and weekends. We provide boarding, sitting, drop in visits, and walking. We do not provide housesitting overnight at this time. We have a loving energetic 4 year old black lab mix who loves friends to play with and a 12 year old daughter who loves caring for pets. We have a cozy ranch-style home with a small fenced in yard for free play. We can easily crate if needed/preferred. We prefer you provide your own dog food, but we have pedigree high protein kibble if needed. We like to give training treats for a job well done. We always use positive reinforcement with our own pets and others!

About: I have been walking dogs and taking care of cats and dogs for years. I give cats and dogs some attention and play with them. I am currently available on weekends and week nights for walking dogs. I am flexible with the times on weekends. I can take dogs for more than 20 minutes to give them more exercise and an enjoyable time. If you need your dog (s) to stay at my house overnight or during the day on weekends, I can look after them, play with them, and walk them. I have a large fenced yard.

About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for years. I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse (for humans)! I have cared for neighbors, friends, friends-of-friends’ pets and am very trustworthy and caring. For most days, I’ll be home all day. I am pet-sitting and occasional babysitting at the moment so I will be there for your pet! I feed, walk, play, cuddle and give lots of love to all the fur babies and will do whatever else is requested (light housekeeping, vet appointments, etc.)

About: I have had pets ever since I was a young girl. I enjoy making sure your family member is healthy, happy & safe while your gone. I pay attention to knowing their routine and notify you if I am concerned about anything. Periodically will send photos or videos so they can say HI to you 😀 I am self employed and am able to make all my pet sitting jobs fit right in with our daily life schedule and work week. I will pet house sit for you or do drop ins. Whatever your needing. It's important that the pet feel safety and comfortbility in their own home. I do walk and take the dogs for rides. They need socializing as well. It's best to keep them in there usual routine while your gone.

About: When I was in middle school, my science teacher went to the Philippines for the whole summer. I took care of her mices, dogs, guinea pigs and more. Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. When I dog sat, I made sure I gave medicine as instructed to the dogs as needed. I played with them, took them hiking, the beach, cuddled on the couch and learned about what they liked and don’t like and what makes them happy. I made sure that their owners were happy as well. When I was asked to come and dog sit again, the dogs would be waiting at the window waiting for my arrival. These dogs were sure happy to see me when I came back to dog sit them! I have plenty of time to play with your pups 🐶I would be available for boarding on the weekends and week days after 4pm. I would be happy to give lots of love and attention/play to your fur babies! I have a fenced yard and have two fur babies who love to socialize. I also love to spoil your dogs too! I work from home twice a week and can pet sit on the weekends as well! As for dog sitting in the client’s home I would treat your place with respect, love and care. Anything you need I will make sure that your pets receive it. I will also communicate and send pictures!

About: I work at an animal shelter and have been handling animals from mice to Great Danes for the past 3 years. I have an in depth understanding of both cat and dog body language, and regularly work with animals that have handling sensitivity, resource guarding, behavioral troubles and health concerns. I help out in our in-shelter Vet Clinic, distributing both pill & liquid oral medications, vaccines/SubQ fluids, and administering topical treatments for skin, eye, and ear ailments. I am Fear-Free certified, which is a training that focuses on positive reinforcement to help eliminate fear and stress in pets. I regularly dog sit for neighbors and friends, cat sit for my sister, and have cared for dogs and small animals in my personal life, including guinea pigs, rats, fish, frogs, birds and lizards. At our shelter, for both dogs and cats- I feed them, clean their kennels, monitor behavior and health concerns, help with training, and administer medications. For dogs specifically, I take them for outside for walks/play pen time & their regular potty breaks, and oversee dog to dog interactions/play dates. I’m usually done with classes by 1 PM at the latest and have most Mondays completely free. Wednesdays are my only more limited day, as I’m at a hospital from 6:30 AM–4:30 PM. On school days, I’m happy to let your dogs out before class and take them on a longer walk afterward so they can get some exercise. I’ll then have the rest of the day available for feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and anything else they need. On weekends, I have no school conflicts and can spend the entire day with your pups! When caring for pets in their home, I make sure to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions you leave for feeding, walks, medications, and potty breaks, while also giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I’m respectful of your home and always make sure everything is clean and in order before I leave. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away!

About: Animals need human contact and love. exercise is important and keeps a dog healthy. I have had rescue cats most of my life and recently have taken care of my daughter's dog when out of town I am retired now and have available time. I am up by 6:00 AM every morning I love to walk and it is part of my daily routine. I have a cat and keep her on a healthy schedule and annual vet appt. With a dog, I follow the instructions of the owner. They may be on medication, eat certain types of food etc.
