About: I have pet sit for friends and neighbors for a long time now, including dogs and cats. I grew up with almost any type of animal you can imagine, from little reptiles, to horses, with many in between. I currently have a dog, 2 cats, a few fish, and many chickens. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to pets. This allows me to give pets consistent attention, regular walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. I’m able to adjust my schedule around each pet’s specific needs and routine to make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I provide loving, attentive care for pets in both my home and my client’s home. I make sure pets are fed on their normal schedule, always have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I can follow any specific instructions regarding routines, medications, training, or special needs.

About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.

About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.

About: I have trained several dogs. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and other pets. I am recently retired and have frequent availability on most days. I am recently retired and am available on most days at different times. Same day appointments are possible, while one day or more notice is appreciated. About: I have taken care of various pets off the Rover app over the past couple years (clients, family, friends). I love animals and I would be delighted to be able to watch after your pets. I am currently a college student, so I will have to work around class schedules. I would be free mornings before classes start (10 am or earlier), between classes occasionally (around 1pm), and most evenings after my classes. Weekends have full availability. I would be willing to do any care necessary for your pets, including walking them. If there is anything specific, I am able to accommodate that.

About: I have always had dogs since I was about 3 years old. No matter the size or breed, I love caring for 4-legged friends! I currently have 3 dogs, Phoebe, an adult pit mix, Petunia, a young shepherd mix, and Phillip, a Great Pyr/Great Dane mix…all adopted from Austin Pets Alive!. I have specific experience volunteering (walking dogs, cleaning, etc.) at a humane society where the majority of adoptable dogs were larger and of the American Staffordshire Terrier breed. I have also regularly watched my friends' dogs when they have gone on vacations. I believe positive reinforcement goes a long way, particularly with food motivated pooches. I’m available most days and times without issue! I do request as much advance notice as you can provide but am open to same day bookings when my schedule allows. I have a fully fenced yard to provide a secure space if they are coming to my home. I am very comfortable taking them on neighborhood walks if they are comfortable. I only use non-retractable leashes and positive reinforcement (treats and affirmations) to engage with your dog. I’ve taken dog CPR training as well.

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for years. I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse (for humans)! I have cared for neighbors, friends, friends-of-friends’ pets and am very trustworthy and caring. For most days, I’ll be home all day. I am pet-sitting and occasional babysitting at the moment so I will be there for your pet! I feed, walk, play, cuddle and give lots of love to all the fur babies and will do whatever else is requested (light housekeeping, vet appointments, etc.)

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child. I grew up on a farm and had to care for the family pets. I have watched a plethora of dog breeds for a night, weekend, week, or just to check in. I have experience clipping nails, bathing, and administering medications. I love pet snuggles and giving treats as well as being very active with my pet friends!! We can be flexible with pet sitting needs and am able to provide services during the day, evenings and weekends. We provide boarding, sitting, drop in visits, and walking. We do not provide housesitting overnight at this time. We have a loving energetic 4 year old black lab mix who loves friends to play with and a 12 year old daughter who loves caring for pets. We have a cozy ranch-style home with a small fenced in yard for free play. We can easily crate if needed/preferred. We prefer you provide your own dog food, but we have pedigree high protein kibble if needed. We like to give training treats for a job well done. We always use positive reinforcement with our own pets and others!

If your dog likes to pick up the pace during a walk I am sure to match it, as I experienced this with a German Shepherd. My name is Jahlea and I have always had animals in my house, those with and without fur, including fish, axolotls, hamsters, guinea pigs, a medium-sized terrier mix rescue dog and 2 large labradors. I have cared for and have loved my pets with all of my heart and I plan to do the same for your big and little ones as well. I have over 12 years of experience caring for various animals including bunnies, bearded dragons, dogs, cats, and fish. My specialty is caring for dogs and cats including those that are needing medicine (by injection or pill), are seniors, or have special needs. I am also a frequent petsitter for foster dogs so I have lots of experience with dogs that have emotional and behavioral issues and the patience and care it takes while they learn what it means to be loved again.
