About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over,paw, other paw,high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.

About: Animals need human contact and love. exercise is important and keeps a dog healthy. I have had rescue cats most of my life and recently have taken care of my daughter's dog when out of town I am retired now and have available time. I am up by 6:00 AM every morning I love to walk and it is part of my daily routine. I have a cat and keep her on a healthy schedule and annual vet appt. With a dog, I follow the instructions of the owner. They may be on medication, eat certain types of food etc.

About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! There were two times that she canceled morning of and, with that late notice, I was not able to leave work or get anyone else to take him out. About: I have pet sit for friends and neighbors for a long time now, including dogs and cats. I grew up with almost any type of animal you can imagine, from little reptiles, to horses, with many in between. I currently have a dog, 2 cats, a few fish, and many chickens. About: I had dogs all my life, I love them!! I currently have a 11 years old weimaraner, which is in Spain with my parents, and a 5 years old Russian Toy, Harry. Harry is living with my bf and I in Rochester. He is 4.5lb and a super easy-going boy! So, I am used to all dog sizes, and I do pretty well with the high energy ones!! I'm a PhD student so I can scape from the lab anytime. I normally walk my dogs very early in the morning, at noon and at night. During the weekends I give them long walks. At my place my dogs have been always inside home and at their own. When they go out is always under my supervision. Since my dogs are well behaved and not destructive I've never used crates. If I take care of a dog that is not mine, I will listen the requirements from their humans to have a good care of their needs.

About: I’ve taken care of many different dogs in the last 10 years, from family and friends to my neighbors dogs and doing overnight stays. I love walking dogs and playing with them. I have had a dog in my household for my whole life, and I have taken care of dogs ranging from a puppy to senior care. I am currently a college student at St. John Fisher University, so depending on the day I am available at different times! Reach out and we can discuss what works best! Depending on the location, I always make sure the dog is in a safe place like a fenced in area, and if not fenced in then on a leash. I also take precautions when walking dogs to be dressed appropriately, use a short leash and try to eliminate distractions. Safety is my number 1 priority when taking care of any animals.
