About: I grew up around animals. I have taken care of my own dogs, cats, rabbits and fish throughout my life. I have also taken care of friends pets when they’ve gone out of town. I am comfortable with large and small dogs, cats, and caged animals. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time for your pets. I have a 4yr old who is comfortable around animals and I am available for boarding if your animal is comfortable with men, women, and children. I live on a quiet street in an apartment and look forward to walking with your dog at my home or yours. I am comfortable working with multiple kinds of collars and leashes.

About: I’m a dedicated dog owner to my Miniature Poodle, Milo, so I understand the daily care, attention, and love dogs need. I have hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, grooming basics, and keeping a consistent routine. I’m patient, gentle, and make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable. I’ll have to ensure that no dogs fights over foods. I’ll have to put one of the dog in bathroom and another dog can eat in a room until foods are done. They can be switched. I follow any specific instructions from the pet parent, including feeding schedules, medication, and exercise needs. I supervise pets closely, making sure they’re never left in unsafe situations, and I provide plenty of love, attention, and mental stimulation.

About: I went to school at Rutgers University and received my Bachelors in Animal Science. At the time I was pursuing a career as a veterinarian in which I gained multiple years experience as a veterinarian assistant, as well as hands on experience working at a dog boarding facility. I am now part of the Air Force National Guard and I prefer to spend my free time with all the spoiled fur babies. I have my own mode of transportation and can match your pets energy needs, I've taken dogs on runs and also cuddled up for a movie night. I am fluent in English and Spanish and more than happy to accommodate you and your dog. I have a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday and understand that some pets do better when there's someone checking in on them throughout the day. I understand that leaving pets behind for trips can be stressful so I try to stick to their normal routine and extra play time for the high energy pets so that they enjoy and become accustomed to a stranger being with them

About: I grew up with a great dane, and then my family adopted 3 dogs of different sizes after that. I’ve been surrounded by, and taken care of dogs my entire life growing up in Rochester. I have worked for local dog daycare and boarding facilities as well. My location provides a good place to socialize with other dogs as well if needed, just minutes from several parks and open land. A fIexible schedule allows me to work with people to meet their specific needs, and take the necessary time to be thorough. I enjoy the process of working with dogs and understanding their personality. I use positive reinforcement techniques to reward behavior and maximize dog comfort. I currently work afternoons, and am a night owl. I spend my mornings drinking coffee or walking dogs, and evenings helping friends with pet care who work late nights in health care, law enforcement, etc. While I cannot board dogs overnight in my apartment building, I have experience boarding within owners homes. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday. I have been around pets for a long time and feel I am able to pick up on signs if anything might be wrong with your furry friend.

About: I’ve grown up for over 20+ years having dogs in my life. I currently have 2, and the level of compassion I have for them is I treat dogs with care like humans, and they are more than just pet. I have a special skill and ability to quickly connect with dogs and develop relationships with them. I am flexible schedule wise, I work from home and have a lot of flexibility. About: I work at an animal shelter and have been handling animals from mice to Great Danes for the past 3 years. I have an in depth understanding of both cat and dog body language, and regularly work with animals that have handling sensitivity, resource guarding, behavioral troubles and health concerns. I help out in our in-shelter Vet Clinic, distributing both pill & liquid oral medications, vaccines/SubQ fluids, and administering topical treatments for skin, eye, and ear ailments. About: I have always had a family pet and contributed to their care while growing up. As an adult I've cared for my chihuahua Squirt for 14 years and many more to come! I have had experience training my own puppy and handling medical needs of a senior pet. I work Monday through Friday from 7AM until 3PM and am off on weekends. About: I have been walking dogs for over 10 years as neighbors had me walk their dogs when I was young. I house and dog sit for my family. I volunteered with a rescue for two years and currently foster for a rescue that I’ve been with for about 4-5 years. I work 8-5 every weekday. I’m good at giving animals space when i know they’re scared or nervous and really make sure I earn an animals trust. I have a beautiful 2 year old baby girl. There is a chance she would be with me for walks and drop ins depending on what day of the week it is. If your pet has any habits or preferences i would like to know them (how they’re fed, favorite toy, favorite place to be pet or scratched). I work full time but have a 10 month old pitty mix at home. I’m home by 5pm every day and leave between 8/9am depending on if I have my daughter or if she’s with her dad. I have a pup of my own we live in an apartment but we go on daily walks. We like using a harness over just a collar because we don’t want to risk him slipping out of it.
