About: We’re a family of five who has plenty of love in our hearts and home to share with your furry friends ❤️ My husband and I both grew up with dogs. Additionally, I have also raised two dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. We had to say goodbye to our beloved, old shitzu this past year. Our kids (12,10, and 5) are really missing having a dog around and we thought this would be a great next step for our family. Feel free to reach out with any questions! About: I went to school at Rutgers University and received my Bachelors in Animal Science. At the time I was pursuing a career as a veterinarian in which I gained multiple years experience as a veterinarian assistant, as well as hands on experience working at a dog boarding facility. I have my own mode of transportation and can match your pets energy needs, I've taken dogs on runs and also cuddled up for a movie night. About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I'd love to give your dog my unconditional love and undivided attention. Your baby is not just a pet, they are our best friends who depend on us. So Relax while you’re away, and leave the fun stuff to me! Looking for regular/ recurring clients :) I currently work part time on weekdays, twice a day for up to 7 hours. About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for years. I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse (for humans)! I have cared for neighbors, friends, friends-of-friends’ pets and am very trustworthy and caring. For most days, I’ll be home all day. I am pet-sitting and occasional babysitting at the moment so I will be there for your pet! I feed, walk, play, cuddle and give lots of love to all the fur babies and will do whatever else is requested (light housekeeping, vet appointments, etc.)

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats (both pet-sitting and dog walking) since I was 8 years old (over 14 years of experience!) and still frequently care for the dogs and cats of friends and family. I grew up with a black Labrador and miss having her around (she passed away while I was in college). I currently have a labrador and pittie mix and she gets along very well with dogs of all sizes. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and would love to take care of yours! I have a variable schedule as a nurse practitioner but am home for the holidays so can board your pup with mine or drop by yours for walks or house sitting (so long as my pup can tag along too for longer stays!) My pup is a 4 year old lab mix who is very friendly with other dogs! I can do boarding at my place as long as your dog is good with other pups. I can definitely go on long walks or runs, as well as shorter ones to get your pup some exercise! I'm happy to do drop-in services as well.

About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday. I have been around pets for a long time and feel I am able to pick up on signs if anything might be wrong with your furry friend.

If your dog likes to pick up the pace during a walk I am sure to match it, as I experienced this with a German Shepherd. About: I had dogs all my life, I love them!! I currently have a 11 years old weimaraner, which is in Spain with my parents, and a 5 years old Russian Toy, Harry. Harry is living with my bf and I in Rochester. He is 4.5lb and a super easy-going boy! So, I am used to all dog sizes, and I do pretty well with the high energy ones!! I'm a PhD student so I can scape from the lab anytime. I normally walk my dogs very early in the morning, at noon and at night. During the weekends I give them long walks. At my place my dogs have been always inside home and at their own. When they go out is always under my supervision. Since my dogs are well behaved and not destructive I've never used crates. If I take care of a dog that is not mine, I will listen the requirements from their humans to have a good care of their needs.

About: I enjoy being around dogs, as i have one of my own now, i had dogs growing up and they have always been a friend i needed. I’m always the person at the gathering that spends more time with the dog rather than people lol. I have wanted to become a veterinarian since a kid, although i grew out of that, i know my purpose is to work with the voiceless, animals. (although they have their own voice lol). I’m currently doing this for experience due to being in school full time/work. I plan on advancing my knowledge in animal behavior. I am currently working full time Friday-Sunday. I am free Monday/Thursday. Thursday is not open as a service because i am only available until 12pm. I am very aware of surroundings during dog walks and aware that dogs will be dogs. I’ve studied multiple breeds and i am one to know that some breeds react differently than others, such as my own dog. I think dogs are misunderstanding and people don’t realize they do not think like humans. It is not easy to trust someone with your furry loved one, trust your intuition. I treat others peoples pet like i would want mine to be treated, with respect, patience and love.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have been raised around dogs since I was 4 years old. I do have dogs as well. I do watch my family and friends dogs. They have relied on me to bath, feed, walk, and groom their dogs. I currently do work as a caregiver from 4pm-11pm and at home for the rest of the time. My husband does not work, so someone is always with the dogs. I do live in a town home with a 6 foot fence for the back/patio. Any dog in my home will always be welcomed on couches and beds. I do have cages for my dogs and would prefer for owner to bring one for boarding. I only use the cages for feeding and timeouts. Majority of the time the cages are open if they wanted to lay in them.
