About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.

About: Animals need human contact and love. exercise is important and keeps a dog healthy. I have had rescue cats most of my life and recently have taken care of my daughter's dog when out of town I am retired now and have available time. I am up by 6:00 AM every morning I love to walk and it is part of my daily routine. I have a cat and keep her on a healthy schedule and annual vet appt. With a dog, I follow the instructions of the owner. They may be on medication, eat certain types of food etc.

About: I am recently relocating to Avon, NY and am excited to take your pupper for a walk around town and get to know the area! Happy to do a home visit and play with fur babies of all ages! I work swing schedule caring for my grandma so I will have plenty of time to come help get some energy out or provide cuddles and ear scratches. I promise to treat your baby just as if it were my own! We have a cat and a dog and yes they sleep in the bed lol

About: I had a cat for 20 years and cage aninals when i was young. I have owned a dog with anxiety so patience was key. He needed Medication for that and his hips. I own two cats and a hedgehog. My cats come to a whistle, know how to sit and lay down, go to their blanket where ever it is. My older cat is great in the car and the younger cat I am currently training. I cut their nails and bathe them myself. Both are leash trained. I handle my hedgehog daily so that he is well socialized. My cats never bothered the rats or the hedgehog when let out of the cages. They would sleep woth the dog when no one was home. I work 12 hour over night shifts for my regular job. I am looking for day time and, when off night time or overnight opertunities to fit my shifting schedule. I work in Macedon and live in West Henrietta so I am flexible with locations. I am a quiet private person. I have two cats and a hedgehog. I previously owned rats, a dog, leopard gecko, and other caged animals Cages, boxes, bowls and, other cage items are cleaned daily as well as deep cleaning every 4 to 5 days or as needed. I enjoyed taking the dog as well as my cat for a walk! I have patience with animals with anxiety. I walk or handle pets that friends have such as snakes and birds.

About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I'd love to give your dog my unconditional love and undivided attention. Your baby is not just a pet, they are our best friends who depend on us. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every age, size, and personality since I was a little kid. Bathing, walking, and playing with my family’s or friends’ pets was a regular part of my day to day growing up. I have experience with training puppies and anxious pups, as well as providing necessary medicine to both dogs and cats. I formerly worked for Indy Pets Concierge, and thereby have lots of experience doing both drop-ins and overnights. I’m currently seeking part-time employment but am presently unemployed, so my weekdays and weekends are open to as much pet sitting as potential clients require! My pet care approach incorporates communication and soothing techniques specific to dogs and cats. Unless assured otherwise, I am sure to keep an eye on pets as they play outdoors. When going on walks along roadsides, I walk on the outside of the path (nearest the street) to be sure the dog is safe from incoming cars or bikes. I want to foster positive, loving relationships with each animal I encounter; in order to build a dynamic of trust I make sure to be patient, let them smell me, and talk to them in a calm tone. I have a dog who is happy to play with other dogs and would love to keep your furry friend company — he’s a giant teddy bear! I’m cautious of tics and making sure vaccinations are up-to-date so as to ensure physical health between animals.

About: I had dogs all my life, I love them!! I currently have a 11 years old weimaraner, which is in Spain with my parents, and a 5 years old Russian Toy, Harry. Harry is living with my bf and I in Rochester. He is 4.5lb and a super easy-going boy! So, I am used to all dog sizes, and I do pretty well with the high energy ones!! I'm a PhD student so I can scape from the lab anytime. I normally walk my dogs very early in the morning, at noon and at night. During the weekends I give them long walks. At my place my dogs have been always inside home and at their own. When they go out is always under my supervision. Since my dogs are well behaved and not destructive I've never used crates. If I take care of a dog that is not mine, I will listen the requirements from their humans to have a good care of their needs.

About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday.
