About: When I was in middle school, my science teacher went to the Philippines for the whole summer. I took care of her mices, dogs, guinea pigs and more. Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. When I dog sat, I made sure I gave medicine as instructed to the dogs as needed. I played with them, took them hiking, the beach, cuddled on the couch and learned about what they liked and don’t like and what makes them happy. I made sure that their owners were happy as well. When I was asked to come and dog sit again, the dogs would be waiting at the window waiting for my arrival. These dogs were sure happy to see me when I came back to dog sit them! I have plenty of time to play with your pups 🐶I would be available for boarding on the weekends and week days after 4pm. I would be happy to give lots of love and attention/play to your fur babies! I have a fenced yard and have two fur babies who love to socialize. I also love to spoil your dogs too! I work from home twice a week and can pet sit on the weekends as well! As for dog sitting in the client’s home I would treat your place with respect, love and care. Anything you need I will make sure that your pets receive it. I will also communicate and send pictures!
About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.
About: Animals need human contact and love. exercise is important and keeps a dog healthy. I have had rescue cats most of my life and recently have taken care of my daughter's dog when out of town I am retired now and have available time. I am up by 6:00 AM every morning I love to walk and it is part of my daily routine. I have a cat and keep her on a healthy schedule and annual vet appt. With a dog, I follow the instructions of the owner. They may be on medication, eat certain types of food etc.

About: I have pet sit for friends and neighbors for a long time now, including dogs and cats. I grew up with almost any type of animal you can imagine, from little reptiles, to horses, with many in between. I currently have a dog, 2 cats, a few fish, and many chickens. About: I grew up with a dog, I love ALL types of animals all shapes and sizes. During my time in the navy I was using rover as a way to be around other peoples pets and help out. Now that I finally have a house I have my rescue dog Tucker who’s getting older now and Sam who is young and full of energy and loves a good young friend! About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for years. I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse (for humans)! I have cared for neighbors, friends, friends-of-friends’ pets and am very trustworthy and caring. For most days, I’ll be home all day. I am pet-sitting and occasional babysitting at the moment so I will be there for your pet! I feed, walk, play, cuddle and give lots of love to all the fur babies and will do whatever else is requested (light housekeeping, vet appointments, etc.)

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
