“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

“Haley and her fur babies were amazing hosts to my little blind guy Luca. Always sending pictures and updates. Thank you so much for the peace of mind I got while having him stay with you.”

“Marie watched Champ for the second time, and once again, she was fantastic. She took great care of him and sent us regular photo updates. It’s clear she genuinely cares for him, and he seemed relaxed and happy in her care. We’re so grateful to have someone we can trust, and we’ll definitely continue booking with Marie. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and dependable dog sitter!”

“It was our first time using Rover and we were very happy with Jamie and Brian. They sent pictures every day and were always very responsive. Knox had fun meeting and playing with a variety of other dogs, he came home a tired pup - which was great! We will definitely use Jamie & Brian again!!”

About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.
“He did an amazing job! Sent pictures every day, took my very energetic dog on long walks, she came back such a calm dog. Accepted my late request and was a life saver!”

“Lourdes was so attentive to our pet and kept us updated perfectly. Our pet has special needs and Lourdes provided us such peace of mind with her living care of our pet. We are so grateful and highly recommend Lourdes as a pet sitter. Thank you, Lourdes. You are very special to us.”

“Lesley was great with Layah and took the time to make her comfortable. Would ten out of ten recommend. She was very responsive and sent updates.”

“Luna absolutely loved her stay with Kate (she told me so). She went on plenty of walks and had tons of play time. She swam, experienced fireworks for the first and made new friends. I received daily updates from her (including adorable photos). She really handle my high energy child with grace and I will definitely be booking again!”

“Garrison was an absolute dream to work with! She watched Frankie over our wedding weekend, and even helped him make a guest appearance in some of our photos. She was so communicative and kind. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter for our little dude!”
“Anastasia watched Willow for two weeks while we were in Europe. She sent us updates periodically which was perfect since we were on vacation. Our daughter picked up Willow at the end and said that Willow was content and calm which means Willow had a good time adjusting. We will definitely use Anastasia again!”

“Another wonderful mini vacation for our Toby with his furry friends! Second time we've had the pleasure of having Toby stay with Gigi and we definitely give the highest recommendation knowing he's in a house filled with smiles and love. Thanks!”

“This was my first time using rover, and I acknowledge my puppy can be a lot, but from the first 30 minutes I drove off and got a picture (of Winnifred having zoomies in the backyard) I knew my pup was in amazing hands! Honestly they took all my fear and anxiety away and made the weekend stress free! Thank you again for everything!!”

“My number 1 choice when it comes to leaving my doggo anywhere. Constant contact, pictures, funny videos. Flexibility. My dog has only stayed once but that's all I needed to decide that Alex and Bethany are the perfect people. Thank you guys!”

“Kate and family took great care of our dog Arlo while we went on vacation. We received daily updates, and our kids especially loved the pictures/videos. We will definitely be returning customers. Thank you Kate!”

About: My wife introduced me to our first cats over 30 years ago. I grew up not being a cat person but I was quickly converted! We have had 4 cats over the past 30+ years. They were part of the family and that is how we treated them. Our 2 cats we have now are 19 and 17 so rest assured that older cats will be well taken care of.
“Hollis took excellent care of my Mish Mish while I had a last minute trip; I had to extend my trip due to weather and Hollis agreed to cover immediately. I do fear Mish Mish perhaps is disappointed that I’m back, lol. I recommend Hollis 100% if you need a reliable and excellent cat sitter.”

About: I’ve been a cat owner for over 50 years and currently share my home with three cats. I understand that cats thrive on routine and that trust is earned on their terms. Whether your cat is social, shy, senior, or a little spicy, I’ll provide patient, attentive care and keep you updated with photos and notes while you’re away.
“Hannah was great about communicating and very professional. Due to travel problems some adjustments were needed at the last minute. I would definitely contact her again in the future.”

About: Cat Care Experience: I’ve raised kittens and cats since I was young, they bring me so much joy! We had three senior cats that all lived to be about 18 years old, so have lots of experience with senior pets that have chronic and acute health conditions. This includes: feline respiratory disease, kidney disease, late in life/late stage FIV, thyroid disease, UTIs, dehydration, and pain management. Our cat Luna needed saline infusions for kidney disease frequently at home so I’m very comfortable giving cats intramuscular fluids via a bag/giving set. I’m also very well practiced in administering cats medications both oral and topical, cat inhalers and grooming cats (basic grooming). If there is another health condition your cat has please contact me and we can discuss their needs, I’m not squeamish and with a strong background in health I can learn quickly about your pets conditions - if you need help with medical pet care even while you are home I can assist with that - sometimes it takes two people to treat the cats we love so much! Contact me to discuss the situation! I’m also available for vet/grooming appointment transportation, and as a advocate to attend vet appointments with you if you need a hand with the medical system. Contact me to discuss options and availability.

“Fiona had her first day at Garrisons doggy daycare and she came back tired and happy! My pup is very nervous of new things at first and Garrison took time to let Fiona warm up and get comfortable instead of just throwing her into the mix of things which can be overwhelming. I received updates from garrison and pictures and videos. We will definitely be a repeat client! Thanks so much Garrison!”

“Haley and Amanda were great daycare hosts for our dog Jager! We booked a VERY last minute daycare with them and they were exceptional. Pickup and drop off were seamless, there was active communication throughout the day and photos of Jager playing with their dogs. 10/10 experience and I would absolutely book with her again. :)”

“Alex and Bayern were both amazing hosts. We were in town for a wedding and didn’t want to leave Ziggy by himself. They took really great care of Ziggy and made him (and us) feel at home. “Ricardo was so great with our dog! Took him out for a walk in all kinds of weather, and he came home happy and tired. Great communication and updates - we are hoping to work with him again soon. Thanks Ricardo!”

About: I have a lifetime of experience with pet care, which began with helping my mom run her in-home dog boarding business when I was growing up. The skills and experience that I've gained in that time enable me to provide the best possible care for your pet. I live with my girlfriend who is a veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience. Ours is a loving home, with a large, securely fenced yard. Our top priority is to keep your dog safe, feeling comfortable, and relaxed, just as they would be in their own home. I offer boarding, walks, in home visits, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs when I was younger, and can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training. Dog sitting is my only job, and my flexible schedule revolves around that. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.
About: Hi there! I would love to provide a clean and home-like environment for your pets. I have over 25 years of caring for all types of animals. Available for boarding dogs and cats, house sitting(I’m unable to accommodate staying overnights), and drop-ins! Your pets will feel right at home in my care with all the attention and love they deserve! I am super fun to be around and I'm very active so your pet won't be bored or ever feel alone. I live on an acre with lots of open space for walks and playtime. I am currently not working so my schedule is very flexible. Pet care is built into my daily routine—it’s a priority, not a task. From morning walks to evening feedings and playtime, I schedule my day around each pet’s individual needs to ensure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Whether in my home or a client’s, I provide consistent, personalized care. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding, walks, playtime, and medication if needed—while keeping their environment clean, safe, and stress-free. My goal is to make them feel as comfortable and loved as they do with their own family.
About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I send pictures throughout the day to let you know how your pup is doing!
About: I've raised two energetic puppies through adolescence and frequently provide dog-sitting services for friends in the area. I also have experience working as an enrichment specialist at a well-known doggy daycare in Rochester and volunteering as a foster for local rescues. I am experienced with anxious dogs and can adapt to your fur-baby's specific needs. I'm trained in basic human and canine CPR, and I'm skilled at recognizing early signs of reactive behavior in animals. While I'm not perfect, I'm highly attentive. Since I’m home most of the time, I’ll ensure your pet stays healthy, happy, and safe! We are an adventure duo -- you can catch us at the beach playing fetch in the water, hiking, or just taking long strolls along the canal! On days where the weather is rainy, we still get 3 walks a day (morning, noon, evening) with thorough wipe downs after! Meal times are interwoven with short training sessions. I have dedicated several rooms in my house to doggy activity areas -- agility equipment, floor mats, etc (see photos). Grooming is done very regularly. My pup has environmental allergies so we also do a water rinse daily when we return from our adventures. When your baby stays with me, they will receive the same treatment (if they are comfortable getting brushed). He is my entire life and I couldn’t be happier! I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.
“Calli was great with our dog, we dropped her off for just 6 or so hours and Calli was warm & welcoming to our slightly anxious dog. Would definitely recommend her service and will use again in the future if we ever are in the area again!”

About: I cared for my dog for 11 years until she passed, and now I wish to make other dogs happy and safe. Will take care of your dog as if it were my own. I would be available as needed basis. I do have a friend who would help during the day if I have to do contract work. I would give them the attention they deserve to make them not feel lonely. Try to keep their mind active from thinking they were abandoned.

About: I love all dogs and have had dogs my whole life. I currently have a 4 year old yellow lab, who is great with other dogs. We have always had more than one dog in the house but we recently lost one to cancer, So caring for your pet would be a thrill to both me and my pet, I have recently retired form the school system and found that I have a lot of extra time that I could spend with your pet, playing and training basic commands. My husband and I live in an area where the dog would have a lot of room to run and play. He/she would be welcomed anywhere in our home with our dog as a companion to play with. I am retired and have all day or night to care for your pet. I very occasionally work as a substitute bus driver in the early morning , generally home by 8.am I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run around and play, also in the home all day and can take for walks if preferred.

“Susan is the absolute best! Our pup always has a wonderful time playing in the yard with other dogs, and we love getting updates throughout the day. Very relieving to have our girl stay in such a safe and caring place. Thank you Susan :))))) ”

“David is an absolutely phenomenal dog sitter! He took amazing care of my boyfriend and I’s two huskies, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. My boyfriend especially gets so so so anxious about anybody watching them, and for him to be at peace 24/7 knowing David was there should say a lot. He was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the entire process. The numerous photos he sent gave me so much relief and reassurance, knowing my boys were in good hands and having a blast. I highly recommend David to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter! His wife was also extremely sweet and didn’t mind going on walks with our crazy boys and made the cutest art of them.”

About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.

“Debra watched our dogs while we were away for the week and our experience was great. We got daily updates, and our dogs came home happy and well cared for. I would recommend Debra to anyone who needs a dog sitter!”

“Cara and Dan are wonderful people! They took wonderful care of our dog while we were out at a wedding. If we lived in the area we’d ask them to care for our dog all the time! Thank you Cara and Dan!”

“Amber was a fantastic sitter! She took amazing care of our sweet girl and provided us with great updates while we were away. You can tell she knows how to take care of dogs and I truly felt our fur baby was safe with her. We will definitely be using Amber again!!”

“Thomas was wonderful with our airedale terrier. He sent pictures and updates about their adventures. Our dog has food allergies and Thomas was able to make sure he did not come into contact with them. We will look forward to hiring him in the future.”

“Jesse is loving to my dogs and is always accommodating. He’s been watching my dogs now for over two years. We are so appreciative of him and the care he gives to our boys.”

“Danielle took excellent care of my cat while I was away. She provided regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. Communication was excellent throughout the stay. I’d definitely trust Danielle to watch my cat again and would happily use her services in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Kaitlyn was incredible! She was so welcoming during our meet & greet, and her dog Tucker was so sweet with our dog! We received several updates throughout Remi’s stay and I felt so confident leaving him in her care! She made sure she knew Remi’s routine and habits during the meet & greet and verified the details before his stay. It was a great experience and Remi loved her huge fenced in yard! We would absolutely recommend Kaitlyn, and would love to use her again in the future!”

“Tetiana was wonderful with my two pups! We did a meet and greet ahead of time and it was immediately clear that she loves dogs and is great at caring for them. She was very accommodating with the drop off and pick up time, and then during the stay she provided frequent photos and text updates. Overall, really great dog sitter who I would highly recommend to others!”
