About: My wife introduced me to our first cats over 30 years ago. I grew up not being a cat person but I was quickly converted! We have had 4 cats over the past 30+ years. They were part of the family and that is how we treated them. Our 2 cats we have now are 19 and 17 so rest assured that older cats will be well taken care of.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for a long time. I grew up surrounded by them, but I was lucky enough to work with them as well. I've worked in a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant, as well as volunteered at dog rescues where I helped with rehabilitating dangerous large dogs. I've also worked at a doggie daycare center, where I was responsible for assigning dogs to play groups and monitoring their behavior to ensure their safety. Because of this, I've learned to effectively monitor dog behavior and body language to interpret when they are comfortable, scared, or need to be separated from other dogs. I have experience giving medications and insulin injections, and know how to be careful with older or injured dogs with limited mobility. I'm a stay-at-home mom, so I would be by your dog's side all day. Because of this it can be time for walkies or running around in the fenced yard basically any time doggo needs it. The door to the yard connects to the main living room, so if they want to bounce between being inside and outside it's easy to do so. My son and I also enjoy going for stroller walks around the neighborhood, so doggo gets to tag along with us for that as well to get some sniffs in. I have a fenced in yard for your dog to sprint around, and can take them for walks around the neighborhood. If your pup still gets bored we can take a car ride and go for some walks on nearby nature trails. In my home your pup is welcome to lounge on the furniture with me, and could follow me around throughout the day if they were feeling clingy (like my dog). Dog toys are always scattered around the house, and your pup can help themselves. For boarding, dogs also sleep in the same bedroom as me so they will not be alone overnight. (Exceptions being the dog may sleep in a separate room if they have potty issues, as the bedroom is carpeted.) My standard poodle Eleanor will always be with us, and will occasionally want to play as well. She is typically pretty mellow (after initial meeting) and doesn't run around much, but occasionally she finds a dog she clicks with and will want to play chase with them around the yard if they reciprocate with her. Have an older dog? Don't worry, she is just as happy to lay around with them. ***We do have a baby in the home, which is important to note. Baby is never allowed to touch the guest doggos, and is never left unattended with your dog EVER. We may temporarily keep baby and dog separated in different rooms via a baby gate if the baby is crawling around as we get to know your dog and their reaction to the baby. I am very diligent when it comes to ensuring the safety and comfort of your dog while in the same house with a baby, and their interactions will be monitored and in most cases limited. If you know your dog is reactive to small children, please kindly understand our family home is not a good fit for them.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have cared for several family dogs over the years, including American Akitas and a Husky and Australian Shepherd mix. One of our Persians, Sweetie, was especially close to me. She passed away a few years ago, and losing her truly broke my heart—she was with me for so long and gave me so many wonderful memories. I also spend a lot of time with my family’s dogs—a brown Labrador, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and a pair of Boston Terriers—and I always make sure to play with them whenever we’re together. About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. About: I work at an animal shelter and have been handling animals from mice to Great Danes for the past 3 years. By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child. I grew up on a farm and had to care for the family pets. I have watched a plethora of dog breeds for a night, weekend, week, or just to check in. I have experience clipping nails, bathing, and administering medications. About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over,paw, other paw,high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.
About: Animals need human contact and love. exercise is important and keeps a dog healthy. I have had rescue cats most of my life and recently have taken care of my daughter's dog when out of town I am retired now and have available time. I am up by 6:00 AM every morning I love to walk and it is part of my daily routine. I have a cat and keep her on a healthy schedule and annual vet appt. With a dog, I follow the instructions of the owner. They may be on medication, eat certain types of food etc.
