About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.

“Joey is amazing with all my animals. My Cane Corso takes special introducing and not everyone I introduce him to takes the job. He liked Joey from the first day. I actually have a little farmstead with several types of animals, including a horse, a goat, an emu, over 50 chickens and other types of fowl. I even feed some of the wildlife! Joey does all of it. I get great pics and I'm always so happy with the detailed list he leaves of all the chores and extras that he does. He even remembers things that I forget to mention sometimes! Number one call for me all the time is Joey. Besides, he gave me a very reasonable farmstead rate. I highly recommend this sitter, especially if you have animals not listed on Rover!”

About: I own a Husky mix named Prisma who is turning 3 this year. She is quite energic and also epileptic. She is my daily experience. However I have sat for dog a bit bigger and much smaller! That includes Shihztus, Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers, Corgis, and Border Collies. I'm patient and responsible. My goal in any work field, but especially with your loved ones and possessions, is being reliable and communicating. This is what I find in my experience to be key for providing the best care and peace of mind. I work full time as a receptionist Mon - Fri, 8 to 4:30. This provides a lot of morning visits and overnight potential. Evening walks would works great as well. For specific requests, I can even dip into PTO to make the right situation work if a mid day visit is required during the work week. My Saturdays and Sundays are fully open at this time. I'm very patient and observant when interacting with pets of different personalities. Once informed on how you'd like your loved one to be cared for, I will do so in that manner. An obvious statement, but you'd be surprised how important that is to be said. If unsure or uncertain of care, we can brainstorm together as well to make sure I'm the correct sitter for the job.

About: I’ve had a dog my entire life, so caring for dogs comes naturally to me. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, though I’ve primarily grown up with small and medium breeds. About: Me: I’ve loved and taken care of pets since I was very young! We always had several pets in the home growing up including cats, pregnant cats, kittens, dogs of all sizes, birds (parakeets and a parrot), fish, gerbils and even mice. I’m a recently retired massage therapist and yoga teacher and will offer an approach of ease, relaxation and joy to your pets - that is my style! I’m very punctual, organized and reliable as I’ve run my own holistic health care small business for over 20 years. Current: More recently I’ve raised several cats from kitten-hood through end of life and adopted a young feral cat that was able to become domesticated. My husband and I help the community/feral cats in our neighborhood every day with food and outdoor shelter. Cat Care Experience: We had three senior cats that all lived to be about 18 years old, so have lots of experience with senior pets that have chronic and acute health conditions. This includes: feline respiratory disease, kidney disease, late in life/late stage FIV, thyroid disease, UTIs, dehydration, and pain management. Our cat Luna needed saline infusions for kidney disease frequently at home so I’m very comfortable giving cats intramuscular fluids via a bag/giving set. I’m also very well practiced in administering cats medications both oral and topical, cat inhalers and grooming cats (basic grooming). If there is another health condition your cat has please contact me and we can discuss their needs, I’m not squeamish and with a strong background in health I can learn quickly about your pets conditions - if you need help with medical pet care even while you are home I can assist with that - sometimes it takes two people to treat the cats we love so much! Small Dog Care Experience: I’ve been helping my family and friends out with their dogs forever, including day visits and long term pet sitting for dogs of all ages and puppies. Currently I can only help with puppies and small dogs 15 pounds and under. Due to some arthritis I’m unable to walk the dogs that are larger than 15 pounds, but would love to help with puppies and small breeds! This includes walks, home visits and medication administration. Other small pets: I can also do visits for basic bird care, fish/aquarium and small mammal care. Medical Transport/Vet Visits: I’m happy to discuss pet transportation to their local vets and groomers as needed. Contact me for review of your pet’s transport needs! I’m recently retired so am very flexible after 12pm most days. I can do weekends with some lead time, and later evenings if needed. Contact me to discuss availability. I care very deeply about our furry friends and will treat them with the same love, care and understanding I would give my own pets. One of my favorite quotes about pet care is “you can’t get mad at a dog for being a dog”. In our home the cats ruled and even have a catio for safe outdoor time. About: I love hiking and snuggling with my fur babies and hope to share the love with your fur family. I’ve fostered pups of all ages with different behavioral styles and volunteered for a handful of shelters and rescues. I do pop ins for a few locals in town and of course for my family. For me, there’s nothing more therapeutic than a fur baby and nature. I’d like to think I repay them for their endless love by easing their nerves while you’re away. I'm currently a dog Mawma to my 95 lb lap dog, Leana and a 25 lb pot cake, Millie. Leana is reactive on leash and takes strength on walks. And quite opposite of Leana, Millie is trained to walk off leash. My previous pup was a 100 lb pure bred Swissy (also a lap dog) who I lost to cancer. I was laid off from my up-tight corporate job and I'm looking to go back to what I know and love, animals. I own my house in Mt. Morris, NY (with a fenced yard!) and I spend a lot of time in Seabreeze/E. Irondequoit, NY, so my range in location is pretty wide. I'm currently available to stay in your home while you're on vacation, tend to your pets for an evening out, or make sure your pet gets the potty breaks and walks needed during a long work day. At my house in Mt. Morris, I have a fenced yard with 2 dogs and a cat, and my housemate. All are people and dog friendly. At your home, I'd abide by your requests.

About: When I was in middle school, my science teacher went to the Philippines for the whole summer. I took care of her mices, dogs, guinea pigs and more. Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. When I dog sat, I made sure I gave medicine as instructed to the dogs as needed. I played with them, took them hiking, the beach, cuddled on the couch and learned about what they liked and don’t like and what makes them happy. I made sure that their owners were happy as well. When I was asked to come and dog sit again, the dogs would be waiting at the window waiting for my arrival. These dogs were sure happy to see me when I came back to dog sit them! I have plenty of time to play with your pups 🐶I would be available for boarding on the weekends and week days after 4pm. I would be happy to give lots of love and attention/play to your fur babies! I have a fenced yard and have two fur babies who love to socialize. I also love to spoil your dogs too! I work from home twice a week and can pet sit on the weekends as well! As for dog sitting in the client’s home I would treat your place with respect, love and care. Anything you need I will make sure that your pets receive it. I will also communicate and send pictures!
