About: Love to give dogs lots of attention and affection. Coupled with the ability to be stern if needed, I am able to take care of many types of dogs. I live an active life and will have no problem walking your dog as much as needed. I spent many years training and caring for our family dog. I have lived with roommates with dogs and had no issues caring for them even when the roommate was not away. While living with a roommate, they had their own rover account and I would help take care of any dog that would come over. I have pretty open availability and willing to travel to most places within 10-15 miles of downtown baltimore. Please reach out to me with any questions or requests and I will try to accommodate.

About: Since I was little, I have taken care of pets and cats. I watched the pets of my friends, my family, and others. I played with them and took them for walks. When someone needs a babysitter, I would be thrilled to help. Since I have no plans, I can be fairly flexible with my schedule. If you need me at the last minute, I'll be there. I’m pretty available. I always make sure there is adequate room for the dog to play around. When there is another dog nearby, I prefer to keep the leash on for safety. Give the dog enough room and don't surround them with too much stuff to prevent damage.

About: I have always had a dog or puppy roaming around my house ever since I was little! I genuinely love all animals and have experience with all breeds of dogs. I have the summer off from teaching and wanted to pick up this part time for enjoyment! I miss living at my moms with my pup in Syracuse. But moving to Rochester has opened up work opportunities of teaching and dog watching! I have a great neighborhood with many sidewalks to walk your pup. When I am in a clients home I will be respectful in taking my shoes off and giving their fur baby what they need!

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12. I looked after neighborhood dogs when the family would be out of town. I walk them, feed them, play with them, and have had dogs stay with me at my home. I take care of my own dog and we are very active. Being active is part of my dog’s breed and is something I could provide for animals that are at home while owners are at work or out of town. I live in a townhome with one dog that will keep your pet busy! Sage loves to play, run, and swim. As far as going to other homes I have stayed in the home for a couple hours playing with the animals. Either one works for me. When we do have another dog stay with us, we constantly stay active and also have time for rest. Dog parks, hikes, walking on the beach, are some examples of activities that I have done with other dogs.

About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.

About: My family has had several big and small dogs growing up so I have had experience walking, bathing, feeding, and playing with dogs my whole life. I also have 2 dogs of my own now and have taken care of them since they were 10 weeks old. I have lots of experience and absolutely love dogs, they are family! I currently work part-time on the weekends and take classes online during the week. My shifts on the weekends are typically no more than 5 hours and since my classes are online I do them right at home! My two dogs are very friendly and absolutely love playing so your dogs will have lots of interaction and company! They also have loads of toys that they love sharing! My apartment is big enough for them to play and run around as well as for me to crate dogs if needed or preferred. My place is also puppy-proof so they can’t get into anything they can’t have!

About: I’ve had experience around a variety of dogs while growing up! I grew up with 2 labs & a yorkie! My brother has a deaf Australian Shepard (double merle), and my other brother has a Border Collie x German Shepherd & a Yorkie x Chihuahua. My parents have a Lab! I currently have my own dog, a golden retriever! I have dog sat for friends and family members prior to setting up Rover, and is something I really love doing. I am open to a variety of breeds, and have a special place in my heart for dogs! I’m currently a college student and am back in the home for summer break! I’m a full-time college student, attending RIT in Rochester, NY, and also home in Omaha, NE during winter & summer break! I’m super flexible with timing! Just reach out and let’s figure out a time that best fits all of us, including your pups!:) I live in an apartment in New York, that is mostly empty, I do not have a backyard, but there is a large area of space around here on campus that is great for walks! I can assure you your dog will get lots of love, walks, & depending on your dog’s preferences, whether it’s playing fetch, or just relaxing with your dog. I’ll be sure your dog spends time doing what they enjoy! They’ll definitely be sure to get lots of love, and I’ll be very attentive to them and their needs! Dogs are family members, and I will be sure to treat them as if they were mine.

About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.

About: Me: I’ve loved and taken care of pets since I was very young! We always had several pets in the home growing up including cats, pregnant cats, kittens, dogs of all sizes, birds (parakeets and a parrot), fish, gerbils and even mice. I’m a recently retired massage therapist and yoga teacher and will offer an approach of ease, relaxation and joy to your pets - that is my style! I’m very punctual, organized and reliable as I’ve run my own holistic health care small business for over 20 years. Current: More recently I’ve raised several cats from kitten-hood through end of life and adopted a young feral cat that was able to become domesticated. My husband and I help the community/feral cats in our neighborhood every day with food and outdoor shelter. Cat Care Experience: We had three senior cats that all lived to be about 18 years old, so have lots of experience with senior pets that have chronic and acute health conditions. This includes: feline respiratory disease, kidney disease, late in life/late stage FIV, thyroid disease, UTIs, dehydration, and pain management. Our cat Luna needed saline infusions for kidney disease frequently at home so I’m very comfortable giving cats intramuscular fluids via a bag/giving set. I’m also very well practiced in administering cats medications both oral and topical, cat inhalers and grooming cats (basic grooming). If there is another health condition your cat has please contact me and we can discuss their needs, I’m not squeamish and with a strong background in health I can learn quickly about your pets conditions - if you need help with medical pet care even while you are home I can assist with that - sometimes it takes two people to treat the cats we love so much! Small Dog Care Experience: I’ve been helping my family and friends out with their dogs forever, including day visits and long term pet sitting for dogs of all ages and puppies. Currently I can only help with puppies and small dogs 15 pounds and under. Due to some arthritis I’m unable to walk the dogs that are larger than 15 pounds, but would love to help with puppies and small breeds! This includes walks, home visits and medication administration. Other small pets: I can also do visits for basic bird care, fish/aquarium and small mammal care. Medical Transport/Vet Visits: I’m happy to discuss pet transportation to their local vets and groomers as needed. Contact me for review of your pet’s transport needs! I’m recently retired so am very flexible after 12pm most days. I can do weekends with some lead time, and later evenings if needed. Contact me to discuss availability. I care very deeply about our furry friends and will treat them with the same love, care and understanding I would give my own pets. One of my favorite quotes about pet care is “you can’t get mad at a dog for being a dog”. In our home the cats ruled and even have a catio for safe outdoor time. About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was eight years old. Growing up with a pitbull as my childhood dog. Two pitbulls in the house after our first one passed. I take them on walks. Have been to training sessions with them. Confident taking care of dogs and just adopted my own in January. I am currently a D1 student athlete. My classes this semester are pretty light. I have no classes M, W, or F so am most free those 3 days. I would love to fit pet care daily into times that work. Some things I've done for my dogs: I have a fenced in backyard, throw toys around the yard for them. Both of my dogs have harnesses and prong collars for walks. They are fed twice a day. Their paws are washed off when its muddy outside.
