“This was our first time having Rico come by for a drop in visit for our fur babies Bella and Mya, we received lots of pictures and an update. We will definitely book with Rico again in the future!”

“We recently had the pleasure of having Gigi and Nate take care of our dog, and I couldn't be happier with their service! They treated my dog as if he were their own, providing not just the basics but going above and beyond to ensure he was happy and well-cared for. They also kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, which gave me great peace of mind. My dog came home happy, healthy, and clearly well-loved. I highly recommend Gigi to anyone looking for trustworthy and caring pet sitters. They're simply the best!”

“Lindsey was great! Our meet and great went well and i felt right away that she was perfect. She has the experience and background that made me comfortable. Lindsey followed all of my crazy long notes and specifications. She did everything we asked and how we wanted it. I was able to be at work and not have to worry about the care my (fur)kids were receiving, I received good updates and detailed post visit notes. We are very cautious on who we let in our home and with our dogs. But I am extremely happy and confident with Linsey. We already booked her for our next two visits.”

“Skylar lets my dog out at lunchtime 3 days a week and he enjoys her visits. She was helpful when a bandage came off a minor injury that my dog had. Overall she has been reliable and responsive.”

“Joey is amazing with all my animals. My Cane Corso takes special introducing and not everyone I introduce him to takes the job. He liked Joey from the first day. I actually have a little farmstead with several types of animals, including a horse, a goat, an emu, over 50 chickens and other types of fowl. I even feed some of the wildlife! Joey does all of it. I get great pics and I'm always so happy with the detailed list he leaves of all the chores and extras that he does. He even remembers things that I forget to mention sometimes! Number one call for me all the time is Joey. Besides, he gave me a very reasonable farmstead rate. I highly recommend this sitter, especially if you have animals not listed on Rover!”

“Jenine did a great job checking in on my cat. She kept me updated with pictures after every visit and gave my cat the love and attention she needed. I felt at ease knowing she was caring for my girl while I was away. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I cared for my own dog for 5 years, including as he aged into his senior years. I also watch my parents' dog whenever they go out of town. I do not have puppy training experience, but I have some with adult dogs. I work a full-time job, so any care provided will have to fit around my schedule. I am usually out of work by 2:30 and need to care for my own pets at home, but I will make all the time needed to provide proper care for yours! I live in a friendly neighborhood, and my cats are very open to meeting new animals. There are a lot of areas around my neighborhood to go for walks and some nice dogs that live around.
“Nikki did a fantastic job! We left for an eight day trip and needed someone to care for our four cats while we were away… She was happy to come over in advance and meet them to learn their routines, including give them medication and prescription foods for their different needs. She also made sure to give them treats and affection, and update us daily with reports and pics. Would definitely hire her again and recommend her to anyone!”

I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I send pictures throughout the day to let you know how your pup is doing!
About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. I am currently a college student at St. John Fisher University, so depending on the day I am available at different times! Reach out and we can discuss what works best! Depending on the location, I always make sure the dog is in a safe place like a fenced in area, and if not fenced in then on a leash. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
