Animals need human contact and love. exercise is important and keeps a dog healthy. I have had rescue cats most of my life and recently have taken care of my daughter's dog when out of town

I have a cat and keep her on a healthy schedule and annual vet appt. With a dog, I follow the instructions of the owner. They may be on medication, eat certain types of food etc.

Laurie filled in for us (on short notice ) for a 10 day vacation when our previous dog sitter was unavailable. She agreed to meet our dog (and us) the day after we contacted her. We liked her immediately- she was prompt, organized, flexible, friendly, and our dog warmed up to her quickly. During our vacation, she updated us, sent photos, and asked appropriate questions. Our dog seemed happy and our house was clean on our return. She also watered our plants/ gardens and picked up sticks after a wind storm! We would hire her again!
Laurie was incredible. She was great with our dog, providing good updates and pictures. We came home to a very clean house, and a very tired/ happy dog. Would highly recommend her!!!
Laurie is my mom, and she raised me into the cat lady I am today! My mom comes to Brooklyn to watch my husband and I's cats anytime we are out of town, and she is the only person they love and trust as much as they love and trust us. She also takes care of my sister's golden retriever in Rochester whenever she is out of town. She's an animal lover at heart and cares deeply for whomever she's looking after!
Laurie takes a very loving and compassionate approach when it comes to caring for pets. In addition she is detail oriented, responsible, and conscientious. I've witnessed Laurie caring for pets for friends and family on many occasions and know without a doubt she would do a great job.
Laurie has been absolutely amazing with our dog. She’s incredibly attentive and makes sure she’s well taken care of every day—whether it’s getting her out for regular walks, keeping her on a consistent feeding schedule, or spending quality time playing and keeping her engaged. What really stands out is how much she genuinely cares. She treats our dog like her own, paying attention to her needs, mood, and energy level. It gives me complete peace of mind knowing she’s in such loving and capable hands. I couldn’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for someone reliable, responsible, and truly caring

I am retired now and have available time. I am up by 6:00 AM every morning I love to walk and it is part of my daily routine.
