“I can’t say enough good things about Steph. She does a midday check-in for our 1 yo Australian shepherd a few days a week and he absolutely loves her. He can be a little particular about who he decides is part of the pack and Steph was able to warm him up very quickly, no doubt due to her extensive experience with animals. Steph’s communication is excellent, she’s willing to tailor her service to our dog’s needs and I have total peace of mind leaving our fur baby in her hands because she’s proven to be capable and dependable. She’s even brought one of her dogs and/or kids along sometimes to help us socialize him because I mentioned he struggled with those things. 10/10 would recommend booking Steph.”
About: I cared for my own dog for 5 years, including as he aged into his senior years. I also watch my parents' dog whenever they go out of town. I do not have puppy training experience, but I have some with adult dogs. I work a full-time job, so any care provided will have to fit around my schedule. I am usually out of work by 2:30 and need to care for my own pets at home, but I will make all the time needed to provide proper care for yours! I live in a friendly neighborhood, and my cats are very open to meeting new animals. There are a lot of areas around my neighborhood to go for walks and some nice dogs that live around.

About: Hi! My name is Cullen. I'm originally from Vermont, but I'll be spending the summer in Rochester while attending college. I have plenty of experience caring for dogs, including my own 11 year old Goldendoodle as well as sitting for friends and neighbors pets. I've cared for multiple rescue dogs at the same time for extended periods of time, and have experience working with senior and anxious dogs, so I'm comfortable handling a variety of personalities and care needs. “Joey is amazing with all my animals. My Cane Corso takes special introducing and not everyone I introduce him to takes the job. He liked Joey from the first day. I actually have a little farmstead with several types of animals, including a horse, a goat, an emu, over 50 chickens and other types of fowl. I even feed some of the wildlife! Joey does all of it. I get great pics and I'm always so happy with the detailed list he leaves of all the chores and extras that he does. He even remembers things that I forget to mention sometimes! Number one call for me all the time is Joey. Besides, he gave me a very reasonable farmstead rate. I highly recommend this sitter, especially if you have animals not listed on Rover!”
About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for years. I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse (for humans)! I have cared for neighbors, friends, friends-of-friends’ pets and am very trustworthy and caring. For most days, I’ll be home all day. I am pet-sitting and occasional babysitting at the moment so I will be there for your pet! I feed, walk, play, cuddle and give lots of love to all the fur babies and will do whatever else is requested (light housekeeping, vet appointments, etc.)

“Wonderful! Kayligh was friendly and professional. We booked her for 2x/day drop ins, for feeding and insulin for my 14 year old cat. He’s very personable and after losing his companion cat last year seems to be lonely when we left. My last sitter would medicate and leave, but Kayligh stayed and played and visited with him. About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child. I grew up on a farm and had to care for the family pets. I have watched a plethora of dog breeds for a night, weekend, week, or just to check in. I have experience clipping nails, bathing, and administering medications. I love pet snuggles and giving treats as well as being very active with my pet friends!! We can be flexible with pet sitting needs and am able to provide services during the day, evenings and weekends. We provide boarding, sitting, drop in visits, and walking. We do not provide housesitting overnight at this time. We have a loving energetic 4 year old black lab mix who loves friends to play with and a 12 year old daughter who loves caring for pets. We have a cozy ranch-style home with a small fenced in yard for free play. We can easily crate if needed/preferred. We prefer you provide your own dog food, but we have pedigree high protein kibble if needed. We like to give training treats for a job well done. We always use positive reinforcement with our own pets and others!

About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! About: I’ve always had a dog growing up, and dog sit frequently. I also used to work at a doggy daycare/ kennel. I will supply the right needs for them! i want them to be comfortable and happy and you knowing they’re happy I have a part time job. Mostly 4 hour shifts. Most of the time i can do what you prefer! If not i will work out a way to fulfill your needs for availability that i have down sometimes will not be accurate (i will sometimes have more free time for rover!) as far as cost i had down, if you are needing to negotiate let me know!! I prefer to come to the home and have the dog stay where they normally are so they feel comfortable in the environment. I can work with you if it’s a situation where you are having an event at your house and need your dog to be gone during the day or overnight. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
