About: First, what sets us apart is that we can provide pet care for many animals, not just dogs and cats. If you are someone who needs care for all of your pets such as fish, birds, and small rodents. We are very comfortable with that and we think it would be fun to provide those services too! We have been dog sitting together for friends for over the past 7 years. Kate has been for over 20 years. We live in Rochester and are "all in" with pet care. James works at an elementary school and helps out at home in the evenings. Kate is a full-time student working on her dissertation. We are able to house sit at our clients house and we fit our daily routine with wherever we are at in the city. We always make sure that the area is “pet-proofed”. Meaning that there are no choking hazards or other things that they can get to. Keeping the home tidy and clean is very important to us.

About: I've had animals my entire life, with my first pet being a rabbit named Angel! For the past three years, I've worked professionally in animal care, gaining experience with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I'm also experienced in caring for a variety of small animals, including rabbits, rodents, reptiles, and birds in both a professional and personal setting. I am Fear-Free certified and have an in-depth understanding of canine body language and regularly work with dogs that have handling sensitivities, food or resource guarding behaviors, and stranger or dog reactivity. My experience also includes working in zoological settings, and I currently care for dogs, cats, and small animals in an animal shelter. I have a deep respect for every animal I meet and strive to provide compassionate, attentive care to everyone—from the tiniest mouse to the largest Great Dane. About: Hello! I am a PhD student at UofR who enjoys spending time outdoors and caring for pets. I'm turning to Rover to find new clients after previously babysitting both cats and dogs in my apartment building, whose owners have recently moved away. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and hikes, and have experience with many animals, having spent most of my life on a farm. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and keep them happy and active! I am happy to provide references. As a student, my schedule is busiest midweek, but I have plenty of free time on weekends and can easily accommodate mornings and evenings. Mondays and Fridays are also more flexible, making them great days for drop-ins, walks, or house sitting visits. I want to make sure your pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I do have a car and can transport larger dogs if needed, but I usually prefer caring for pets in their own home. I can do drop-in visits, house sitting, and taking dogs on walks in your neighborhood or mine (wherever they feel most at ease).

About: Lots of experience caring for fur babies. Past owner of Great Danes and experience with little ones too! I have been actively fostering dogs for a local rescue for 5 years and have experience with age puppy to senior. I also have 2 dogs of my own, Vizsla and a boxer mix. Open to any breeds. Can provide video chat time with your pet or text photos. Lots of love to give your pups as I am free weekends and summer weekdays (I am a teacher assistant in Kindergarten) and would love to take them for walks if they are able. I am willing to administer medications as necessary. Available weekends during the school year and full weeks in July and August. I am a teachers assistant and have summers off to spend with your pup! I am available for frequent potty breaks, walks and will follow your preferences on crate training. Love to provide daily updates on how your dog is doing.

About: I was born into a dog family and have always had dogs. I am very comfortable and confident with any pets. I have also experience house sitting / pet sitting for family’s with more than one pet and senior pets. I myself have a Labrador who is 11 years old. I am a rule follower and will always go by your preferences. My sister-in-law is a veterinary surgeon which is an added bonus bc she is a great resource for care taking questions. About: I’ve had a golden retriever, Toby, since I was seven years old and I love spending every moment with him! I’ve dog sat for my family members and friends many times and have dealt with dogs of all sizes and breeds! I’m currently in school right now so I am available any weekday after 4:30 and all day on weekends. I am very flexible with my schedule. I have an open back yard where my dog can roam and I can play fetch with him, I also sometimes talk him to the dog park and run with him there!
