About: I started caring for dogs when my friend and I began our own dog walking business at the age of 11. Since then, I've cared for pets of all sizes including my own. I currently have 4 cats and one Australian Shepherd puppy, so life can be a little hectic at times, but definitely worth it! I'm a teacher with availability on nights and weekends. About: Hello! I am a PhD student at UofR who enjoys spending time outdoors and caring for pets. I'm turning to Rover to find new clients after previously babysitting both cats and dogs in my apartment building, whose owners have recently moved away. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and hikes, and have experience with many animals, having spent most of my life on a farm. About: I have guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and chickens. I have also had a bearded dragon and rabbits. I am very used to caring for many types of animals and love them all. About: I have had dogs of my own. I had a lab and a yorkie silk terrier. I treat dogs like they are my children. I will take them on fun walks, make sure their well fed and play with them. I always make sure my focus is on the dogs so they don't feel lonely! Something that sets me apart from other walkers and sitters is that I like cardio. So just walking alot or even running with the dog will not only help me but the dog too! “This was the first time leaving Nellie (12 yr old female) with any one but family. One week before our 2 week trip, we were left with no one to watch Nellie. We found Amy on Rover and she seemed like a good fit right away. We set up a meet and greet with Nellie and Amy and it went well, and we felt comfortable enough to leave Nellie with her and her family. The most important attribute that Amy had that was important to us was her comfort in administering lots of meds to a very resistant Nellie. Amy had her way and it worked perfectly with Nellie. About: I have been walking dogs and taking care of cats and dogs for years. I give cats and dogs some attention and play with them. I am currently available on weekends and week nights for walking dogs. I am flexible with the times on weekends. I can take dogs for more than 20 minutes to give them more exercise and an enjoyable time. If you need your dog (s) to stay at my house overnight or during the day on weekends, I can look after them, play with them, and walk them. I have a large fenced yard.
About: I started caring for dogs when my friend and I began our own dog walking business at the age of 11. Since then, I've cared for pets of all sizes including my own. I currently have 4 cats and one Australian Shepherd puppy, so life can be a little hectic at times, but definitely worth it! I'm a teacher with availability on nights and weekends. I'm also currently training my puppy, so I'm used to pulling and teaching basic obedience!
