I strictly follow all care instructions and stick to your pet to its usual schedule to avoid stress while you are away. It’s important for me to know your pet’s routine, temperament, any medical needs, and if they have any fears or triggers (like loud noises, other animals, or strangers). For cats, it's great if you have an idea where they like to hide and whether they prefer a particular approach. The more information I have, the better I can make sure your pet will be safe, comfortable, and well looked after while you're not around.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy! For dogs, that might mean going on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, exploring the neighborhood, or just enjoying time outside together. If your dog prefers cuddles and a calm environment, I’m happy to provide that too. For cats, my favorite interactive play is feather toys, laser pointers, and puzzle games—or simply giving them space and attention on their own terms. Whether your cat plays or prefers to be quiet with you, I'll make sure they are safe, well cared for, and loved. I always adjust activities based on your pet's energy level and personality so that they feel comfortable and happy when you're away.

Hi, I’m Lauren! Having over 9 years of dog (and cat!) experience, I am an animal lover and take my job with every pet very seriously. I was brought up with dogs, have a small dog of mine now that is friendly and active, and have looked after animals in all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. From puppies to older pets that need that little bit of extra care, I've looked after them all. I'm also well-acquainted with cats and their unique personalities and needs. If your cat likes playtime or just prefers some companionship to call on and offer a little comfort, I'll ensure they're safely taken care of. I also have experience with administering medication, following strict care instructions, and keeping to your schedule. I offer: - Dog and cat sitting in your own home - Drop-in visits and exercise - Playtime, affection, and interaction - Updates and photos so you can feel at ease I love spending time outside, so your animal will get plenty of fresh air and exercise.
