About: I have been a pet sitter, and dog-walker for 3 years in Maine. I am extremely caring and detail-oriented when taking care of new furry friends. I have raised Double Doodle and Goldendoodle puppies, and am happy to work on positive reinforcement training with young dogs! I am available for dog-walks at night after 5pm as well as open on the weekends for house sitting and checking in on pets while the owner is traveling. I am happy to evaluate the space where the pet sleeps, eats, and where the best areas for walks are in the neighborhood. Sometimes I just can’t get back to this app. Owned and cared for several dogs and litters of puppies over 35 yrs . including extensive training. I live with an Australian Shepherd. My fenced in yard includes a small wooded area. Dogs will sleep inside in the kitchen with water. I have a security system that includes fire alarm. My dog is very gentle with all dogs. All visitors must get along with other dogs and follow same rules as other day care business like crate friendly, “no excessive barking,” biting, humping or dominance behavior and won’t jump a 4 ft fence. Veterinarian documents for updated vaccines and flea & ticks meds required. Drop off time is same as pick up time, and pick up is 11am or before. We request current bordetella vaccines. Each day we play and run. Your dog will love coming here and we enjoy our time together. I can schedule dog care around your time. I have a secure kitchen area if I need to step out a short time. We will play daily and can stroll freely or together in my wooded park like setting. I do not remove dogs from the premises. Tiny dogs may need a long ribbon attached as they have slipped out of my fenced yard. They are watched as continuously as possible. You provide bagged meal portions for each meal, and treats. My yard has a woods and there’s plenty of shade and water at all times. Dogs are inside and out. Nights are spent inside in my kitchen area and overnight in a large crate. No one has complained ! At 8:30 pm it’s potty time and they receive a treat upon entering. I have a secure shaded fenced in back yard, dog friendly home and security system with fire alarm. I’m in a safe neighborhood with minimal traffic.

I just moved up here and was a little worried about being away from the new place/state and leaving the dogs up here in the meantime. However, MacKenzie just seemed trustworthy, cool, and kind, and I was right! Not only did she want to make sure she did a good job and followed their schedules and everything to a T, she also just loved and cared about them instantly. What really sold MacKenzie as just being a rockstar was her willingness to work with my one dog who has major stranger danger and takes a bit to trust especially with females. MacKenzie did what she could and spent a lot of time focusing on his comfortability and building his trust with her while still ensuring my other dog got her attention and love as well. About: I grew up with labs, one who lived to 14 years of age. After adopting my own dog, 3 years ago she was diagnosed with Addison's disease which requires a monthly vet visit and daily pill. If your dog needs medication while you’re away, I’m willing to administer it. I work 10 minutes from home and look forward to visiting my dog on my lunch break. About: I’ve always had a dog growing up, and dog sit frequently. I also used to work at a doggy daycare/ kennel. I will supply the right needs for them! i want them to be comfortable and happy and you knowing they’re happy I have a part time job. Mostly 4 hour shifts. Most of the time i can do what you prefer!
