About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs for friends and family for over 10 years, and I absolutely love giving pets unforgettable experiences while you’re away. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own, ensuring they feel loved and well cared for. I am very active and love taking walks with all dogs. After losing my own dog years ago, pet sitting has become a meaningful way to fill that void and share the love I have for animals. I’m currently working full-time in a school from 8-3pm. During the week I am available after 3pm for drop in visits and/or walks. On weekends I am available for drop ins and/or walks morning, afternoon and evenings. During the summer I am a nanny, however have a flexible schedule to let pets out throughout the day! I live in a safe apartment complex with a fenced in area for dogs and well as several walking trails to take your pets on long walks.

About: I love hiking and snuggling with my fur babies and hope to share the love with your fur family. I’ve fostered pups of all ages with different behavioral styles and volunteered for a handful of shelters and rescues. I do pop ins for a few locals in town and of course for my family. For me, there’s nothing more therapeutic than a fur baby and nature. I’d like to think I repay them for their endless love by easing their nerves while you’re away. I'm currently a dog Mawma to my 95 lb lap dog, Leana and a 25 lb pot cake, Millie. Leana is reactive on leash and takes strength on walks. And quite opposite of Leana, Millie is trained to walk off leash. My previous pup was a 100 lb pure bred Swissy (also a lap dog) who I lost to cancer. I was laid off from my up-tight corporate job and I'm looking to go back to what I know and love, animals. I own my house in Mt. Morris, NY (with a fenced yard!) and I spend a lot of time in Seabreeze/E. Irondequoit, NY, so my range in location is pretty wide. I'm currently available to stay in your home while you're on vacation, tend to your pets for an evening out, or make sure your pet gets the potty breaks and walks needed during a long work day. At my house in Mt. Morris, I have a fenced yard with 2 dogs and a cat, and my housemate. All are people and dog friendly. At your home, I'd abide by your requests.

“Joey is amazing with all my animals. My Cane Corso takes special introducing and not everyone I introduce him to takes the job. He liked Joey from the first day. I actually have a little farmstead with several types of animals, including a horse, a goat, an emu, over 50 chickens and other types of fowl. I even feed some of the wildlife! Joey does all of it. I get great pics and I'm always so happy with the detailed list he leaves of all the chores and extras that he does. He even remembers things that I forget to mention sometimes! Number one call for me all the time is Joey. Besides, he gave me a very reasonable farmstead rate. I highly recommend this sitter, especially if you have animals not listed on Rover!”

About: When I was in middle school, my science teacher went to the Philippines for the whole summer. I took care of her mices, dogs, guinea pigs and more. Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. When I dog sat, I made sure I gave medicine as instructed to the dogs as needed. I played with them, took them hiking, the beach, cuddled on the couch and learned about what they liked and don’t like and what makes them happy. I made sure that their owners were happy as well. When I was asked to come and dog sit again, the dogs would be waiting at the window waiting for my arrival. These dogs were sure happy to see me when I came back to dog sit them! I have plenty of time to play with your pups 🐶I would be available for boarding on the weekends and week days after 4pm. I would be happy to give lots of love and attention/play to your fur babies! I have a fenced yard and have two fur babies who love to socialize. I also love to spoil your dogs too! I work from home twice a week and can pet sit on the weekends as well! As for dog sitting in the client’s home I would treat your place with respect, love and care. Anything you need I will make sure that your pets receive it. I will also communicate and send pictures!

About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.

About: Hello, I have been a dog owner and lover all my life. I have grown up with both dogs and cats throughout my childhood and visiting my Aunts' farm every summer. Being around all sorts of animals and having the responsibility of taking care of them has taught me patience and unconditional love. I enjoy their different personalities and playing with them all! I have the ability to take on the responsibility and more flexible schedule to have this as a side hustle again. My family and I have recently moved to the Rochester area and I am available during the day for a quick relief visit, or walk if you know youll be gone for an extended period of time! I understand the importance of a routine and exercise and am willing to take care of your pet as I would my own. Because of my current availability, my schedule allows for up to two visits during the day/evening for letting your pup(s) out and/or a walk around your block. What I do for my dog: Walks at least twice a day, feed them twice a day and have lots play time in between. When possible, visits to the dog park, and naps together.
