About: When I was in middle school, my science teacher went to the Philippines for the whole summer. I took care of her mices, dogs, guinea pigs and more. Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. When I dog sat, I made sure I gave medicine as instructed to the dogs as needed. I played with them, took them hiking, the beach, cuddled on the couch and learned about what they liked and don’t like and what makes them happy. I made sure that their owners were happy as well. When I was asked to come and dog sit again, the dogs would be waiting at the window waiting for my arrival. These dogs were sure happy to see me when I came back to dog sit them! I have plenty of time to play with your pups 🐶I would be available for boarding on the weekends and week days after 4pm. I would be happy to give lots of love and attention/play to your fur babies! I have a fenced yard and have two fur babies who love to socialize. I also love to spoil your dogs too! I work from home twice a week and can pet sit on the weekends as well! As for dog sitting in the client’s home I would treat your place with respect, love and care. Anything you need I will make sure that your pets receive it. I will also communicate and send pictures!
About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.

About: I’m a dedicated dog owner to my Miniature Poodle, Milo, so I understand the daily care, attention, and love dogs need. I have hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, grooming basics, and keeping a consistent routine. I’m patient, gentle, and make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and needs, and I’m very reliable with schedules and instructions. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a calm environment, I’ll make sure they are well cared for like my own. I am available daily. I feed my dog in the morning and at night. I’ll have to ensure that no dogs fights over foods. I’ll have to put one of the dog in bathroom and another dog can eat in a room until foods are done. They can be switched. I have a yard and I can put them in crate if needed. I’ll make sure everything goes well and safe. I ensure that pets have a safe, clean space to play, rest, and eat. I follow any specific instructions from the pet parent, including feeding schedules, medication, and exercise needs. I supervise pets closely, making sure they’re never left in unsafe situations, and I provide plenty of love, attention, and mental stimulation.

About: I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with family pets and now have three dogs of my own. My older pup is in her senior years and my rescue girl has come a long way since we brought her home. My fiance and I fostered 2 dogs in 2022 and hope to help more pups find homes in the future. I work full time Monday - Friday but I am able to work from home sometimes. On weekends I enjoy spending time at home and outside in our fenced in yard with the pups and my young daughter. I have a tall fenced in yard with lots of room to play. I also have 3 dogs of my own who are very laid back and relaxed. We keep a calm home and usually keep music playing while at work. We have a spare room and crates available if a pup enjoys having space to themselves.

I just moved up here and was a little worried about being away from the new place/state and leaving the dogs up here in the meantime. However, MacKenzie just seemed trustworthy, cool, and kind, and I was right! Not only did she want to make sure she did a good job and followed their schedules and everything to a T, she also just loved and cared about them instantly. What really sold MacKenzie as just being a rockstar was her willingness to work with my one dog who has major stranger danger and takes a bit to trust especially with females. MacKenzie did what she could and spent a lot of time focusing on his comfortability and building his trust with her while still ensuring my other dog got her attention and love as well. Throughout the visits, MacKenzie gave me numerous photos and videos as well as updates from all her visits. I am truly grateful to have had her help and her love and care for my animals while I was away. I will 100% be using MacKenzie from here on out for my animal’s care!”

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
