“Lindsey was great! Our meet and great went well and i felt right away that she was perfect. She has the experience and background that made me comfortable. Lindsey followed all of my crazy long notes and specifications. She did everything we asked and how we wanted it. I was able to be at work and not have to worry about the care my (fur)kids were receiving, I received good updates and detailed post visit notes. We are very cautious on who we let in our home and with our dogs. But I am extremely happy and confident with Linsey. We already booked her for our next two visits.”
About: I have been a pet sitter, and dog-walker for 3 years in Maine. I am extremely caring and detail-oriented when taking care of new furry friends. I have raised Double Doodle and Goldendoodle puppies, and am happy to work on positive reinforcement training with young dogs! I am available for dog-walks at night after 5pm as well as open on the weekends for house sitting and checking in on pets while the owner is traveling. I am happy to evaluate the space where the pet sleeps, eats, and where the best areas for walks are in the neighborhood. For house-sitting appointments, a designated space to sleep is preferred to be able to care for the animal overnight as needed.

He can be a little particular about who he decides is part of the pack and Steph was able to warm him up very quickly, no doubt due to her extensive experience with animals. Steph’s communication is excellent, she’s willing to tailor her service to our dog’s needs and I have total peace of mind leaving our fur baby in her hands because she’s proven to be capable and dependable. About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child. I grew up on a farm and had to care for the family pets. I have watched a plethora of dog breeds for a night, weekend, week, or just to check in. I have experience clipping nails, bathing, and administering medications. I love pet snuggles and giving treats as well as being very active with my pet friends!! We can be flexible with pet sitting needs and am able to provide services during the day, evenings and weekends. We provide boarding, sitting, drop in visits, and walking. We do not provide housesitting overnight at this time. We have a loving energetic 4 year old black lab mix who loves friends to play with and a 12 year old daughter who loves caring for pets. We have a cozy ranch-style home with a small fenced in yard for free play. We can easily crate if needed/preferred. We prefer you provide your own dog food, but we have pedigree high protein kibble if needed. We like to give training treats for a job well done. We always use positive reinforcement with our own pets and others!
About: I’ve been dog sitting, house sitting, and walking dogs for almost 12 years, and I’ve always loved being around animals! I grew up in a family with three dogs, and we also fostered puppies every summer. Because of this, I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of all personalities and energy levels, and I’ve had plenty of experience understanding their individual needs and routines. I’m responsible, attentive, and always make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I love giving dogs plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while their owners are away! I’m currently in nursing school, but I have plenty of availability to care for pets after school and on weekends! I’m usually done with classes by 1 PM at the latest and have most Mondays completely free. Wednesdays are my only more limited day, as I’m at a hospital from 6:30 AM–4:30 PM. On school days, I’m happy to let your dogs out before class and take them on a longer walk afterward so they can get some exercise. I’ll then have the rest of the day available for feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and anything else they need. On weekends, I have no school conflicts and can spend the entire day with your pups! When caring for pets in their home, I make sure to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions you leave for feeding, walks, medications, and potty breaks, while also giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I’m respectful of your home and always make sure everything is clean and in order before I leave. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away!

About: I genuinely love spending time with animals and taking care of them. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, from shy cats to playful puppies. Very reliable, I also enjoy capturing fun moments and sharing photos with theirs owners. I currently work full time, but I am available in the morning and evening as well as the weekend. Especially on the weekends I am very flexible to spend time with your furry friend. I have two kittens at home, they are either flying off the walls or napping right next to me. Taking care for your pet, I am very detailed with instructions and ensure everything requested is completed.

“Joey is amazing with all my animals. My Cane Corso takes special introducing and not everyone I introduce him to takes the job. He liked Joey from the first day. I actually have a little farmstead with several types of animals, including a horse, a goat, an emu, over 50 chickens and other types of fowl. I even feed some of the wildlife! Joey does all of it. I get great pics and I'm always so happy with the detailed list he leaves of all the chores and extras that he does. He even remembers things that I forget to mention sometimes! During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
