About: Hello! I am a PhD student at UofR who enjoys spending time outdoors and caring for pets. I'm turning to Rover to find new clients after previously babysitting both cats and dogs in my apartment building, whose owners have recently moved away. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and hikes, and have experience with many animals, having spent most of my life on a farm. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and keep them happy and active! I am happy to provide references. As a student, my schedule is busiest midweek, but I have plenty of free time on weekends and can easily accommodate mornings and evenings. Mondays and Fridays are also more flexible, making them great days for drop-ins, walks, or house sitting visits. I want to make sure your pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I do have a car and can transport larger dogs if needed, but I usually prefer caring for pets in their own home. I can do drop-in visits, house sitting, and taking dogs on walks in your neighborhood or mine (wherever they feel most at ease).

About: I love playing with energetic dogs and puppies! I believe an active dog is a happy dog. I enjoy going on walks and enjoying nature with an animal companion. I also have experience caring for elderly dogs. You can be assured that they will be comfortable, nourished, and well cared for. I have a pretty busy schedule, but I do have down time between school and work. My most available days are Tuesday and Wednesday. I have many various other times when I'm available, but instead of listing all the times I'm free, it would be easier to message me so we can work something out. One of my main values is respect. I will respect your home by only using what is needed for the pet's care. I ensure that any guidelines are followed. The most important thing to me is that your animal always has fresh water, is fed at the proper times, and is happy and as stress-free as possible. I also love interacting with animals, but I respect their emotions and moods. If your animal isn't in the mood to be pet or played with (mostly referring to cats here), I won't force it. I do understand that like people, pets need their own space too where they can rest and relax.

Lindsey followed all of my crazy long notes and specifications. She did everything we asked and how we wanted it. I was able to be at work and not have to worry about the care my (fur)kids were receiving, I received good updates and detailed post visit notes. We are very cautious on who we let in our home and with our dogs. But I am extremely happy and confident with Linsey. We already booked her for our next two visits.”
About: I currently have a 13 year old orange Maine coon cat Brody, a 8 year old golden retriever Rocky, and a 5 year old Portuguese water dog Piper. I am very active in their care, I take them on walks, feed them, change litter, and more! I am a senior in high school and done everyday at 2:30. I am available after school and on weekends. I will have more free time in the summer. My backyard is not fenced in so I wouldn't have your pets at my house. I would love to take your dog on a walk or play in a park. Kelli was amazing with our kitties! They warmed up to her quickly, which is not always the case. Kelli had great communication and sent amazing pictures everyday. Her great care allowed us to not worry about our boys while we were away. 100% recommend and would book again.
I only expected someone to stop in briefly to feed our two cats for a few days, but Rylee really did make herself their bff ! She was thoughtful with their feeding as one gets sick if he overeats and the other was on a new diet. She spent lots of time giving them attention and cuddles, and engaging them in play. She was respectful of our home and is an excellent and responsive communicator. From now on I can rest easy knowing who I’m going to contact for a friendsitter for Jet and Marvin—Rylee all the way.
