Sometimes I just can’t get back to this app. Owned and cared for several dogs and litters of puppies over 40yrs. including extensive training. I live with an Australian Shepherd. My fenced in yard includes a small wooded area. Dogs will sleep inside in the kitchen with water. I have a security system that includes fire alarm. My dog is very gentle with all dogs. All visitors must get along with other dogs and follow same rules as other day care business like crate friendly, no excessive barking, biting, humping or dominance behavior and won’t jump a 4 ft fence. Veterinarian documents for updated vaccines and flea & ticks meds required. Drop off time is same as pick up time, and pick up is 11am or before. We request current bordetella vaccines. Each day we play and run without ever being crated. Your dog will love coming here and we enjoy our time together. I can schedule dog care around your time. I have a secure kitchen area if I need to step out a short time. We will play daily and can stroll freely or together in my wooded park like setting. I do not remove dogs from the premises. Tiny dogs may need a long ribbon attached as they have slipped out of my fenced yard. They are watched as continuously as possible. You provide bagged meal portions for each meal, and treats. My yard has a woods and there’s plenty of shade and water at all times. Dogs are inside and out. Nights are spent inside in my kitchen area and overnight in a large crate. No one has complained ! At 8:30 pm it’s potty time and they receive a treat upon entering. I have a secure shaded fenced in back yard, dog friendly home and security system with fire alarm. I’m in a safe neighborhood with minimal traffic.

“Jodi, was great with our boxer Elsie. She clearly loves the fur babies that she gets to take care of. Elsie was with Jodi for daycare for 5 days. She was always happy to jump out of the car and run up the driveway to great Jodi at the door. She was very accommodating with our time schedule. My fenced in yard includes a small wooded area. Dogs will sleep inside in the kitchen with water. I have a security system that includes fire alarm. My dog is very gentle with all dogs. All visitors must get along with other dogs and follow same rules as other day care business like crate friendly, no excessive barking, biting, humping or dominance behavior and won’t jump a 4 ft fence. Veterinarian documents for updated vaccines and flea & ticks meds required. Drop off time is same as pick up time, and pick up is 11am or before. We request current bordetella vaccines. Each day we play and run without ever being crated. Your dog will love coming here and we enjoy our time together. I can schedule dog care around your time. I have a secure kitchen area if I need to step out a short time. We will play daily and can stroll freely or together in my wooded park like setting. I do not remove dogs from the premises. Tiny dogs may need a long ribbon attached as they have slipped out of my fenced yard. They are watched as continuously as possible. You provide bagged meal portions for each meal, and treats. My yard has a woods and there’s plenty of shade and water at all times. Dogs are inside and out. Nights are spent inside in my kitchen area and overnight in a large crate. No one has complained ! At 8:30 pm it’s potty time and they receive a treat upon entering. I have a secure shaded fenced in back yard, dog friendly home and security system with fire alarm. I’m in a safe neighborhood with minimal traffic.

“Ok, so i’m a little biased as they are our neighbors. but the fact is, i have watched them for 5 years take in dogs to watch, and take them on walks and play in the yard. i have seen firsthand how much love they give their dog sitting. so as a newish dog owner, we had no question that we wanted Dennis and Melinda to watch our pug! Pugs can have special needs and they have taken extra care of our dog. We were gone a week and had no worries leaving our pug with Dennis and Melinda. I recommend fully and will use them again!”

About: I work at an animal shelter and have been handling animals from mice to Great Danes for the past 3 years. I have an in depth understanding of both cat and dog body language, and regularly work with animals that have handling sensitivity, resource guarding, behavioral troubles and health concerns. I help out in our in-shelter Vet Clinic, distributing both pill & liquid oral medications, vaccines/SubQ fluids, and administering topical treatments for skin, eye, and ear ailments. I am Fear-Free certified, which is a training that focuses on positive reinforcement to help eliminate fear and stress in pets. I regularly dog sit for neighbors and friends, cat sit for my sister, and have cared for dogs and small animals in my personal life, including guinea pigs, rats, fish, frogs, birds and lizards. At our shelter, for both dogs and cats- I feed them, clean their kennels, monitor behavior and health concerns, help with training, and administer medications. For dogs specifically, I take them for outside for walks/play pen time & their regular potty breaks, and oversee dog to dog interactions/play dates. I am available for pet feedings, drop ins, letting out your dog out, or taking them for a walk. Whatever is needed for your pet, I will be able to offer :)

About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I send pictures throughout the day to let you know how your pup is doing!
