About: I’ve had dogs since I was 7 years old. I always find the animal in the room and have gained a lot of knowledge over the years!! I have a Yorkie and a Golden Retriever myself. I trained my golden retriever myself as well. I’m currently a senior in college with a light schedule. I have a lot of gaps during my days. I am completely free on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (most often). I have enough knowledge to know what a pet needs in any moment. I will be able to keep an eye on them at all times. I am able to adjust to anything that a specific owner is more comfortable with.

About: I was born and raised to love dogs. I grew up in a household that bred Rottweilers and I could not be anymore grateful for the lessons of love and care for animals it instilled in me. I began caring for other's pets when I was in high school. Over a decade later I have had experience in short and long-term overnight care/house sitting, day-visits, walks, and some medication administration for pets of all ages and sizes. I have a special spot in my heart for senior pets and giving them the extra love and care they deserve. I know that every home and pet has unique needs and ways to be taken care of. I am currently just working part time and have lots of flexibility/weekend availability. I love to take early morning walks with dogs, especially given that it's summer I keep the heat in mind and have availability during the cooler hours. About: I have had a beautiful, high maintenance cat for many years, who has needed a variety of medications and accommodations since I have had him. So I have done research and practice in how to best take care of older cats that need extra care. I have done ear drops, eye drops, pills, oral syringes, and diabetes syringes. I have also been pet sitting for several years for a wide variety of animals, including a range of dogs, rabbits, turtles, and lizards. I take instructions very seriously, and I love to send photos of pets to their owners while I am with their pets. I prefer the opportunity to meet the pets and owners before pet-sitting, to make sure I am clear on expectations and instructions. I work Monday-Friday, 8-5 most weeks, with some flexibility. I have my own car so I am able to go anywhere in a pretty timely manner. I prefer to meet the pets and owners before I do any pet sitting, to make sure I am clear on all instructions and I know what to watch out for. I always check doors carefully to prevent pets from going where they shouldn't, and I don't trust any gaps in fences or doorways because these little guys can wiggle through small spaces.

About: Hello! I am a PhD student at UofR who enjoys spending time outdoors and caring for pets. I'm turning to Rover to find new clients after previously babysitting both cats and dogs in my apartment building, whose owners have recently moved away. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and hikes, and have experience with many animals, having spent most of my life on a farm. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and keep them happy and active! I am happy to provide references. As a student, my schedule is busiest midweek, but I have plenty of free time on weekends and can easily accommodate mornings and evenings. Mondays and Fridays are also more flexible, making them great days for drop-ins, walks, or house sitting visits. I want to make sure your pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I do have a car and can transport larger dogs if needed, but I usually prefer caring for pets in their own home. I can do drop-in visits, house sitting, and taking dogs on walks in your neighborhood or mine (wherever they feel most at ease).

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. We have always had at least one dog in the house if not more. In the past 6 years I have helped my parents to puppy train twice. I love dogs unconditionally, but I am not afraid to show a little tough love when needed. I’m currently going back to school and attend a lot of local sporting events but I still make it a priority to take my dog for a walk daily. Whether we fit in a walk before I leave in the morning or in-between class and a game, I know how much she loves her walks. I also make sure to give her ample play time when I am home. I make sure that whether the pet is in a fenced in yard or not I am always keeping an eye on them when outside. I always respect the clients wishes regarding their animal being on furniture, in what rooms, and such on.
