About: I have had a beautiful, high maintenance cat for many years, who has needed a variety of medications and accommodations since I have had him. So I have done research and practice in how to best take care of older cats that need extra care. I have done ear drops, eye drops, pills, oral syringes, and diabetes syringes. I have also been pet sitting for several years for a wide variety of animals, including a range of dogs, rabbits, turtles, and lizards. I take instructions very seriously, and I love to send photos of pets to their owners while I am with their pets. I prefer the opportunity to meet the pets and owners before pet-sitting, to make sure I am clear on expectations and instructions. I work Monday-Friday, 8-5 most weeks, with some flexibility. I have my own car so I am able to go anywhere in a pretty timely manner. I prefer to meet the pets and owners before I do any pet sitting, to make sure I am clear on all instructions and I know what to watch out for. I always check doors carefully to prevent pets from going where they shouldn't, and I don't trust any gaps in fences or doorways because these little guys can wiggle through small spaces.

About: I was born and raised to love dogs. I grew up in a household that bred Rottweilers and I could not be anymore grateful for the lessons of love and care for animals it instilled in me. I began caring for other's pets when I was in high school. Over a decade later I have had experience in short and long-term overnight care/house sitting, day-visits, walks, and some medication administration for pets of all ages and sizes. I have a special spot in my heart for senior pets and giving them the extra love and care they deserve. I know that every home and pet has unique needs and ways to be taken care of. I believe with clear communication I am able to approach each new pet care situation with confidence that we can both feel when you leave your loved ones in my care! I am currently just working part time and have lots of flexibility/weekend availability. I love to take early morning walks with dogs, especially given that it's summer I keep the heat in mind and have availability during the cooler hours. I have reliable transportation to come to your home! I am a very organized and clean person so if I am welcomed into your home I assure it will be treated with respect and care. For walks I believe I am very observant and aware of my surroundings, ensuring safety for both myself and your pet(s).

Please message us when you are here; one or more of us will come out to get your pup(s) and their belongings! *We do not allow pick-ups or drop-offs Monday - Friday from before 8 am and between 10 am - 12:30 pm. This is playtime, walk time, downtime for the pups, and/ or cleaning time for us! We understand plans might change and can accommodate if given prior notice! Our quiet hours are after 10 pm, meaning we do not allow pick-ups or drop-offs after 10 pm. *We do daily updates for stays less than 14 days, and every other day updates for any stays longer than 14 days! This allows us to focus on your pup! *We do offer constant care where one of us is with your pup at all times! It is at a higher cost. Our home is a pet-friendly space, every room has truly gone to the dogs! We welcome dogs of all sizes into our home with open arms and hearts! About: Hello! I am a PhD student at UofR who enjoys spending time outdoors and caring for pets. I'm turning to Rover to find new clients after previously babysitting both cats and dogs in my apartment building, whose owners have recently moved away. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and hikes, and have experience with many animals, having spent most of my life on a farm. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and keep them happy and active! I am happy to provide references. As a student, my schedule is busiest midweek, but I have plenty of free time on weekends and can easily accommodate mornings and evenings. Mondays and Fridays are also more flexible, making them great days for drop-ins, walks, or house sitting visits. I want to make sure your pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I do have a car and can transport larger dogs if needed, but I usually prefer caring for pets in their own home. I can do drop-in visits, house sitting, and taking dogs on walks in your neighborhood or mine (wherever they feel most at ease).
