About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I'd love to give your dog my unconditional love and undivided attention. Your baby is not just a pet, they are our best friends who depend on us. About: First, what sets us apart is that we can provide pet care for many animals, not just dogs and cats. If you are someone who needs care for all of your pets such as fish, birds, and small rodents. We are very comfortable with that and we think it would be fun to provide those services too! We have been dog sitting together for friends for over the past 7 years. Kate has been for over 20 years. We live in Rochester and are "all in" with pet care. James works at an elementary school and helps out at home in the evenings. Kate is a full-time student working on her dissertation. We are able to house sit at our clients house and we fit our daily routine with wherever we are at in the city. We always make sure that the area is “pet-proofed”. Meaning that there are no choking hazards or other things that they can get to. Keeping the home tidy and clean is very important to us.

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 15. Family, neighbors, friends, and even bosses have turned to me for their pet care. I have a 9-5 job. I am available Sundays and Saturdays, and have flexibility on Mondays and Thursdays. I may also be flexible on an as-needed basis. When I pet-sit for others, I respect/adhere to their criteria (e.g., indoor cats are kept indoors, dogs needing fences are kept in fenced areas, etc.). With my own cats, I make sure they get all the cuddle and playtime they need. I do the same when dog-sitting (my sister's Golden Retriever is a bundle full of energy!) I feed my cats wet food twice a day and ensure that their dry food and water bowls are kept filled. When pet-sitting (dogs or cats), I always follow the feeding routine as requested by the owner. I always pay close attention to pet behavior, being mindful of any unusual behavior. I make sure to let the owner know of such behavior to determine whether any emergency action is needed. I am also very chatty with all pets, so rest assured that they won't feel lonely!

I rarely go away more than 4 days and I was very comfortable leaving for over a week. Corwin sent me many photos and I could see how both cats loved him being around! About: I grew up with labs, one who lived to 14 years of age. After adopting my own dog, 3 years ago she was diagnosed with Addison's disease which requires a monthly vet visit and daily pill. If your dog needs medication while you’re away, I’m willing to administer it. I work 10 minutes from home and look forward to visiting my dog on my lunch break. She could use some company while I’m at work. I’m a single mom with shared custody of 2 kids, ages 3 and 1. Your dog must be comfortable with young children. It would be a pleasure for me to look after these important members of your family. I will be sure to send you many pictures and notes! I work full time M-F, however if you’re in my radius I would love to provide drop in visits during my lunch break during the week. If you would like me to board your pet, let’s chat! If you’re boarding with me, your dog must be friendly with young children (I have a 2.5 year old & 1 year old) and will be spending the day with my dog, Brinlee! I keep my own dog on leash and if we are comfortable meeting other dogs, I always ask the other owner first only if I know my dog is okay with it! My dog is welcome on my bed at night and sits on the couch next to me. If I’m caring for your pet, it’s important that I pass the sniff test. Let’s set up a meet and greet!

About: We have a secure fenced backyard for supervised play and potty breaks. Dog hangout and sleep in the living room so they are always near people and part of the home. I’ve raised my own dog from a 2-month-old fluffball into a grown German Shepherd, which has given me firsthand experience caring for dogs through different stages of life. I also trained him to be friendly with my 3 cats, so I understand the patience and socialization it takes to help dogs & cats feel safe, comfortable, and happy at home. Available to check in on pet care every 2-4h daily on weekdays and weekends. I’m able to plan my day around walks, drop-ins, playtime, and drop ins. Your fluffy friend will stay in a clean, calm house with a secure fenced backyard for safe potty breaks and supervised outdoor time. Inside, I have extra rooms that can be used to create separate space when needed. Safety and comfort come first!
