“Megan provided exceptional care for our cats, Fen and Clover, during a week-long stay. We were particularly impressed by her diligence during a heavy snowfall, when she not only shoveled our steep driveway to safely get to the door but also patiently waited over an hour for our frozen door to thaw, ensuring she could reach our pets and tend to them. Megan's dedication, combined with regular updates and photos, gave us complete peace of mind. She's a reliable, professional, and genuinely caring cat sitter, and we wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone seeking top-notch care for their feline companions.”

“Raena did an awesome job! Kept us updated with tons of photos. When we returned all the critters were happy and content. Will definitely be booking Raena again in the near future.”

“Easy to communicate with and are flexible with the schedule. Both of my cats felt comfortable to come down to eat with them and that is what's most important for me. I would 100% book again.”

“Rebecca is fabulous. She is always punctual and very diligent. I highly recommend her to watch your dog. (Mine is a puppy so she requires extra attention and Rebecca gives her that.)”

“Stacie was amazing with our pets. Our dogs can be particular and overly anxious, but they were always excited to see her. She asked questions about our animals that I hadn’t thought of and really wanted to make sure they were well taken care of. She always kept us updated and sent us lots of pictures. I would absolutely book Stacie again in the future. She is wonderful.”

I am currently home for the summer after graduating from grad school! I will be working part time while I look for a full time job to start in the fall but will be available for pet sitting responsibilities around my work hours or previously made commitments! I do not currently offer services at my own home but at a clients home, I am willing to feed, walk and care for the pets as needed. “Jess was wonderful with our cat. She made sure our girl had enough food and fresh water, cleaned the litter box, and made sure she was ok (even though our cat is skittish and hid). She was super nice and kept us updated via text. We will definitely hire her again when we go out of town.”

“Mariana has been amazing doing drop in visits for my three beagles. She sends lots of adorable pictures and gives detailed updates. She’s also been exceptionally patient with my youngest dog, who is painfully shy. I’m so happy I found her and the dogs love her.”

“Jessica did a fantastic job! Two of my kitties are extremely nervous around strangers and hide on top of the fridge when anyone comes over. Within two days, Jessica had them out playing, and she won them over enough for pets and kisses. Jessica understands different cats and their personalities, and I'd absoutely hire her again. I'll just add that the photos she sent me are better than any I've taken!”

“Katie is a lifesaver. Her calm, gentle demeanor and detailed communications put me at ease as a first-time Rover user. She listened carefully to my description of what my dog and I need, and she slid seamlessly into our routine. Most importantly, she clearly gets dogs and cares about their well-being, stimulation, exercise, and sense of contentment and fun. Highly recommend.”

“Taylor H. is the best! Just retuned home after a week of being away from our cat and couldn't be more happy! We received prompt updates every day as to when she arrived along with pictures as well! It made for a less stressfull vacation knowing that our cat was in great hands! For you cat or dog sitting care, we highly recommend using Taylor H. as your pet care provider. A true pet lover for sure!!”

“While this was our first time with Ray, we already had him scheduled for some future in-house dog sitting and held a meet and greet. During that time, he came prepared with a list of questions, was early for our time, and very respectful. When we had a situation arise where we needed a drop-in with just a few days notice, he was able to step in. He message us with pics and a report of how they did, which we greatly appreciated. We're looking forward to having Ray watch our pups for a few days in a couple of weeks and feel even better about it based on this experience.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Kaylee J. She was incredibly reliable, communicative, and genuinely cared and the dogs. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled smoothly and that my dogs were safe, comfortable, and happy. It gave me real peace of mind knowing I could trust her completely. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a dependable and thoughtful sitter.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in North Greece. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
