“Jessica did a good job feeding my cat and giving her meds and her infusion. I hired Hessica to house sit my cat with overnight. She she said couldn’t do the overnight, I let it go, then she said that she couldn’t stay the whole day with my cat, she will be in and out all day, I let it go. I paid her a premium to house sit, what could I do? I had an auto accident and didn’t feel well so I let it go again. My cat will cry if she is left alone, I have a very elderly and frail husband that was at home and kept my cat company otherwise I would cancelled my trip and stayed at home. If I hire someone to house sit it’s at one price, to come in and out the whole day it’s at another price. In the future I will not repeat this kind of arrangement again.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.

About: I have had two dogs in my life, both with completely different personalities. I also don’t scare easily, and am good at reading an animal’s body language. PLEASE READ: I currently working a full time job Monday-Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm, and I am looking for a part time side hustle. Unless I am out of town, I can take care of your beloved fur babies. I worked for Lollipop farm for about a year as an adoption counselor but decided to part ways with the career as I’ve found other hobbies. But since then I’ve always found my way back with fostering and animal sitting for friends and family. I’d love to extend the love to your furry friend too! I can’t wait to meet your animals and give them all the love! So I work full time right now but the hours aren’t the same each week but I’m always free before 9AM and the latest 9PM. So it all depends on the animals needs. I try to have them get use to my scent first, give them attention, and make sure to ask the owner as many questions as needed to make the situation easier for the animal. Since I would be someone new.

About: We have a secure fenced backyard for supervised play and potty breaks. Dog hangout and sleep in the living room so they are always near people and part of the home. I’ve raised my own dog from a 2-month-old fluffball into a grown German Shepherd, which has given me firsthand experience caring for dogs through different stages of life. I also trained him to be friendly with my 3 cats, so I understand the patience and socialization it takes to help dogs & cats feel safe, comfortable, and happy at home. Available to check in on pet care every 2-4h daily on weekdays and weekends. I’m able to plan my day around walks, drop-ins, playtime, and drop ins. Your fluffy friend will stay in a clean, calm house with a secure fenced backyard for safe potty breaks and supervised outdoor time. Inside, I have extra rooms that can be used to create separate space when needed. Safety and comfort come first!
