My daily cat experience is high. Each cat has their own personalities and quirks. She she said couldn’t do the overnight, I let it go, then she said that she couldn’t stay the whole day with my cat, she will be in and out all day, I let it go. I paid her a premium to house sit, what could I do? I had an auto accident and didn’t feel well so I let it go again. My cat will cry if she is left alone, I have a very elderly and frail husband that was at home and kept my cat company otherwise I would cancelled my trip and stayed at home. If I hire someone to house sit it’s at one price, to come in and out the whole day it’s at another price. In the future I will not repeat this kind of arrangement again.”

About: Murphy and I are a tag team! Please only reach out if your pets are good with other dogs. I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.

On-leash Only: For maximum safety, I keep all dogs on leash during our outings, even in off-leash areas, unless we are in a 100% secure, fenced in yard. Environmental awareness: I avoid interactions with unfamiliar dogs or people on walks to prevent any unpredictable situations. I am also highly mindful of the weather, ensuring paws are protected from hot pavement and that pups stay hydrated. Home Security: When entering and exiting your home, I use extra caution to prevent "door dashing." I treat your home with the same respect and care I give my own. After our visit or walk, i take a moment to send you a detailed "Report Card." You'll get a summary of our route, their behavior, and-of course- at least 2-3 great action shots from our time together. I treat every schedule with the same reliability I'd want for my own pets. Rochester weather can be unpredictable! For the safety of your pet, I may shorten walks during extreme heat (90+) or dangerous wind chills. About: We have a secure fenced backyard for supervised play and potty breaks. Dog hangout and sleep in the living room so they are always near people and part of the home. I’ve raised my own dog from a 2-month-old fluffball into a grown German Shepherd, which has given me firsthand experience caring for dogs through different stages of life.
