Safety, trust & environment
I own 4 cats and am well versed in cat care as well to make your little purr machine comfy while you're gone! I am happy to feed your baby their meals, extra treats, or medication; clean litter boxes; refresh water; and play until your kitty is ready for a nap! Or, if your cat prefers snuggles and low-key hangouts - whatever works best for your fur baby.
Information Holly L. would like to know about your pet
Any fear-based reactions to strangers entering the home, especially when none of your pet's people are there, are very important to know. If your kitty tends to be skittish and hide I like to know this ahead of time, so I can be mindful of being extra quiet & gentle when entering and interacting in your home, or can spend a little extra time if my schedule allows, to help your baby bean get acclimated to me.
A typical day
Based on what information is given about your cat at the meet and greet, I am happy to tailor my visits to your cat's unique needs & wants. Some kitties prefer to be left alone - others want to play, or be brushed, or just to curl up in a lap and hang out. No matter what works best for your kitty, it will work well for me :)

Experienced cat lover & carer!
Cat care experience
Since I was 7 years old, I have had an active part in caring for kitties - I have been a cat parent for my entire adult life, and currently care for four baby beans of my own 💖 in addition to my own kitties, I have assisted multiple rescues over the last 5 years with caring for feral populations (via TNR, placing of shelters & food, and vetting), fostering, and more. I have experience with bottle feeding little ones, to assisting seniors with feeding, grooming, and other self care needs that become difficult with old age. I am comfortable administering oral, topical, and injection medication on all ages of cats.
Reviews

Holly is wonderful! We were lucky she was available for a couple last-minute drop-in appointments. She texted back quickly. Our cat, who hates to be held, needs to have her paws dipped into a medication solution for as close to 5 mins as possible everyday. Not only was Holly unfazed by this task, but she was more successful with it than we often are! She is clearly familiar with animal behavior and is willing and able to adapt to pet’s personality to keep them healthy and happy. She adjusted her approach as she went based on her observations, which let me know she was really paying attention during visits. Holly is also communicative and easy to talk to. 10/10 would recommend
Holly was amazing with my nervous senior dog. Holly knew just how to gain my dog's trust and take care of her while we were away. Holly sent quality time with the dog and meet all of our needs. I would recommend Holly to anyone needing care for any of their pets particularly ones with special needs. Holly went out of their way to give the best care.
Holly always goes the extra mile to take care of our kitties!
Holly takes such great care of my boys. She sends the best photos and I feel so great leaving them in her care. Even little things like bringing in my many Amazon packages is an added bonus.
