We are very cautious on who we let in our home and with our dogs. But I am extremely happy and confident with Linsey. We already booked her for our next two visits.”

I actually have a little farmstead with several types of animals, including a horse, a goat, an emu, over 50 chickens and other types of fowl. I even feed some of the wildlife! Joey does all of it. I get great pics and I'm always so happy with the detailed list he leaves of all the chores and extras that he does. He even remembers things that I forget to mention sometimes! Number one call for me all the time is Joey. Besides, he gave me a very reasonable farmstead rate. I highly recommend this sitter, especially if you have animals not listed on Rover!”

About: I cared for my own dog for 5 years, including as he aged into his senior years. I also watch my parents' dog whenever they go out of town. I do not have puppy training experience, but I have some with adult dogs. I work a full-time job, so any care provided will have to fit around my schedule. I am usually out of work by 2:30 and need to care for my own pets at home, but I will make all the time needed to provide proper care for yours! I live in a friendly neighborhood, and my cats are very open to meeting new animals. There are a lot of areas around my neighborhood to go for walks and some nice dogs that live around.

About: I have always grown up with dogs and taken care of dogs for the last 13 years. I do not have one of my own so I am looking forward to taking care of others. I am very caring for animals but also understand the importance of the owners rules and wishes regarding their pets. I will respect the owners wants and needs while taking great care of their furry family members. I have a full time job Monday - Friday about 7 minutes away from my house. I am able to care for pets in the morning before work, come home on lunch, and be home at a decent hour to spend the evening with them. I do not have any other pets so I can solely focus on yours. I have air conditioning for the hot days and warm heat for the cool ones! I have a great neighborhood for walks and am also close to one of the local dog parks. I don’t not have any children.

About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. About: I own a Husky mix named Prisma who is turning 3 this year. She is quite energic and also epileptic. She is my daily experience. However I have sat for dog a bit bigger and much smaller! That includes Shihztus, Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers, Corgis, and Border Collies. I'm patient and responsible. My goal in any work field, but especially with your loved ones and possessions, is being reliable and communicating. This is what I find in my experience to be key for providing the best care and peace of mind. I work full time as a receptionist Mon - Fri, 8 to 4:30. This provides a lot of morning visits and overnight potential. Evening walks would works great as well. For specific requests, I can even dip into PTO to make the right situation work if a mid day visit is required during the work week. My Saturdays and Sundays are fully open at this time. I'm very patient and observant when interacting with pets of different personalities. Once informed on how you'd like your loved one to be cared for, I will do so in that manner. An obvious statement, but you'd be surprised how important that is to be said. If unsure or uncertain of care, we can brainstorm together as well to make sure I'm the correct sitter for the job.

About: I have a lifetime of experience with pet care, which began with helping my mom run her in-home dog boarding business when I was growing up. The skills and experience that I've gained in that time enable me to provide the best possible care for your pet. I live with my girlfriend who is a veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience. Ours is a loving home, with a large, securely fenced yard. Our top priority is to keep your dog safe, feeling comfortable, and relaxed, just as they would be in their own home. I offer boarding, walks, in home visits, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs when I was younger, and can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training. Dog sitting is my only job, and my flexible schedule revolves around that. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 18. My Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I work remote so have a free schedule to play with my dog and yours 24/7. Which I enjoy doing more than anything else :) I have a safe neighbor hood and live with my parents for the time being. My mom has done Rover for over 4 years but recently retired to be a full time Grandma! I have a front yard and small backyard as well that is fenced in.

I am that person meeting the animals at social gatherings, and forgetting about the humans. I worked in animal welfare, rescuing dogs and cats from all over the world for a few years, and this app has given me a new way to meet pets, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to otherwise.
