Mariana has been amazing doing drop in visits for my three beagles. She sends lots of adorable pictures and gives detailed updates. She’s also been exceptionally patient with my youngest dog, who is painfully shy. I’m so happy I found her and the dogs love her.

About: With almost 9 years of pet care experience and a lifetime of dog ownership, I provide attentive, reliable care for every pet that I meet. I am available for pet care part-time while working full-time Monday–Friday. I am in the office 8–4 on Mondays and Wednesdays, but I have flexible availability in the mornings and afternoons on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. My weekends are completely open. About: I had dogs all my life, I love them!! I currently have a 11 years old weimaraner, which is in Spain with my parents, and a 5 years old Russian Toy, Harry. Harry is living with my bf and I in Rochester. He is 4.5lb and a super easy-going boy! So, I am used to all dog sizes, and I do pretty well with the high energy ones!! I'm a PhD student so I can scape from the lab anytime. I normally walk my dogs very early in the morning, at noon and at night. During the weekends I give them long walks. At my place my dogs have been always inside home and at their own. When they go out is always under my supervision. Since my dogs are well behaved and not destructive I've never used crates. If I take care of a dog that is not mine, I will listen the requirements from their humans to have a good care of their needs.

Nikki was super helpful and responsive. She did a meet and greet with us and our pup before the stop in visit. Unfortunately, our dog is very nervous and did not cooperate with Nikki - but she did everything possible to make it work. Not a reflection on her whatsoever. She even offered to try again and perhaps do a few "walk" visits before an upcoming weekend away. I would recommend Nikki highly.

About: I have a genuine love for animals and years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I’ve worked in a veterinary setting, where I gained knowledge about pet health, medications, and recognizing signs of illness, so you can feel confident your pet is in safe, capable hands. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I focus on keeping your pet happy, safe, and comfortable in their routine. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure you stay updated with photos and messages so you always have peace of mind while you’re away. Even with a structured schedule, I prioritize pet care by organizing my day to make sure each pet receives reliable visits, attention, and plenty of care. When caring for pets in their home, I treat them like I do my own dog—with patience, love, and attention to their individual needs. I stick closely to their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or medications. I respect your home, keep things clean, and always send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I enjoy being around dogs, as i have one of my own now, i had dogs growing up and they have always been a friend i needed. I’m always the person at the gathering that spends more time with the dog rather than people lol. I have wanted to become a veterinarian since a kid, although i grew out of that, i know my purpose is to work with the voiceless, animals. (although they have their own voice lol). I’m currently doing this for experience due to being in school full time/work. I plan on advancing my knowledge in animal behavior. I am currently working full time Friday-Sunday. I am free Monday/Thursday. Thursday is not open as a service because i am only available until 12pm. I am very aware of surroundings during dog walks and aware that dogs will be dogs. I’ve studied multiple breeds and i am one to know that some breeds react differently than others, such as my own dog. I think dogs are misunderstanding and people don’t realize they do not think like humans. It is not easy to trust someone with your furry loved one, trust your intuition. I treat others peoples pet like i would want mine to be treated, with respect, patience and love.

About: I've been a foster and pet sitter for mostly greyhounds for the past 20 years, and have always had dogs of my own. I've gone through obedience classes and grooming, and am pretty good with most temperaments. I am very available and flexible, since I'm retired. I can come by during the day, including weekends and holidays, whatever works for you and your pet. Please note that I accept in-home stays that are a minimum of two nights. I can come to your home and stay, or visit to let your dog out, walk, or feed. Safety is a big factor and I'll do my best!

About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I'd love to give your dog my unconditional love and undivided attention. Your baby is not just a pet, they are our best friends who depend on us. So Relax while you’re away, and leave the fun stuff to me! Looking for regular/ recurring clients :) I currently work part time on weekdays, twice a day for up to 7 hours. This is subject to change within the next few weeks to ensure I have time to House sit efficiently. Please reach out to me with questions about this, and I’d be happy to negotiate! I love being outside, especially in the company of some furry friends. I understand that your dog may either be a nature pet or a couch potato, and I'm able to adapt to your pets needs depending on their personality. I'm clean, quiet, and active when need be. Cleanliness is a priority for me. Cleaning up waste properly and right away is a must, including picking up poop during walks.

About: Growing up with pets my entire life, I was able to get the jump on caring for pets of all ages and sizes. I’ve had multiple cats and dogs at a time. Navigating their relationships and routines was a welcomed challenge! I have experience caring for puppies and pups in their golden years. I currently work evenings as a cleaner. That leaves tons of time to walk, potty, play, and enjoy their yummy meal(s)! I love to give my undivided attention to your fur babies. At this time, I am not able to care for pets in my own home. After a meeting with you at their favorite park or pup cup spot, I would love to accommodate your pet care needs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind and size since i was 8 years old. Growing up I always wanted to work with animals and eventually I did. I worked at Verona street animal shelter and helped not only dogs but cats, bunnies, turtles, hamsters and more. I’ve dealt with really aggressive dogs and really scared/hurt dogs so i have knowledge on both.I took care of the dogs, trained, groomed, snuggled and loved on each and every dog of every kind. I am currently working full time at the moment so boarding will have to be on the weekends. But during the week there will be times i have a day off and sometimes there won’t but i will be able to have a couple hours to snuggle your fur baby :) Caring for the fur babies in their home i just follow the schedule and routine they have and snuggle up with them and play. In my home i have a 4 year old who loves animals as much as me and enjoys having fun, going for walkies and snuggling up by our electric fireplace.

About: I have 3 dogs and a cat at home that I take care of every day so I'm used to taking care of more then one animal. All three of my dogs are on medictions so I have some experience with giving medication as well. I have a very flexible schedule because i am a retired veteren. Not working during the day allows me to have more availability to care for your animals no matter the time of day. Making sure pets get time to play and do what they want is important to me. My pets get to be free all day since I am at home and can let them out whenever they need. I also have a quirky pitbull who likes to be covered with a blanket and hates the rain, so I'm used to accommodating each pets unique needs and wants.

Stacie was amazing with our pets. Our dogs can be particular and overly anxious, but they were always excited to see her. She asked questions about our animals that I hadn’t thought of and really wanted to make sure they were well taken care of. She always kept us updated and sent us lots of pictures. I would absolutely book Stacie again in the future. She is wonderful.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Dog Sitting in Greece on Rover is $19.26 per visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Dog Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Dog Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 897 sitters on Rover offering Dog Sitting across Greece. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Greece stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Greece choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Greece with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Greece. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
