My dog can also be a bit difficult in warming up to strangers and with other dogs, but John was great at understanding and working with Wally's behavior. Our home is spotless when we get home and Anna goes above and beyond with things such as insisting on making sure our flight is on its way before she leaves (even checking the tracking) and washing the towels she used, bringing the mail in etc! She really cares! Wow. Thank you Anna. Even when she couldn't be here she communicated with us was along the way, and we so appreciate that. We came home to very happy doggies, If they could talk I’m positive they would say they can’t wait for her to come back and play ! Did I mention that Anna sends the most amazing photos?!? Thank you Anna for taking all of the worries out of being away from our home and girls.”

One is calm and well-behaved and the other is very outgoing, nosey and not very well behaved. They were able to handle my two dogs with ease and had some great recommendations for me. “Veronica was exactly what we were looking for for our canine, human family. Most importantly, she took the time to get to know our canine-kind, especially our 120 pound French mastiff mix. She settled in overnight during a longer trial sitting, sent us pictures of our contented dogs--both of whom were relaxed when we returned. She also took care our cat and our backyard chickens, as well as watching over our home. We have tried a number of sitters from Rover who said they had big dog experience and could offer personal care for our big guy but had no success. We had almost given up on the service but are so glad we gave Veronica a try. We feel like we can go away for more than a day confident that our menagerie will be well cared for and loved in our absence. We will be booking with her again very soon.”

Portia was quick to respond to messages while we were away and sent lots of pictures of all the animals. I never worried about their well-being while away, which made our vacation more enjoyable. Portia left the house in great shape and all the animals seem quite content. Portia even stayed beyond the original end time when our flight got delayed. We are completely satisfied and would 100% use Portia again.”

She took on the sitting job with short notice (my normal sitter had to back out two days ahead of time). “Shayna and her boyfriend were very nice and my dogs seemed to like them. I booked Shayna for a New Year's Eve stayover. I do wish she would have let me know beforehand that she was bringing a guest but instead, she just showed up with him and although he seemed very nice it was a bit unsettling. We usually like to vet the people who are staying in our house. She also did not communicate that she would be coming and going as often as she did. But the house was left in pristine condition.”
