About: I've been taking care of and rescuing animals since I was a child with my grandmother. We always had all kinds of lovely creatures running around the house, including a baby raccoon that we rehabilitated and released back into the wild when it was ready to leave the nest! I have experience in caring for pets with special needs and administering meds as needed. I have love and respect for all animals as they are true family members, and I'm looking forward to creating a bond with yours! :) I have a part time job with shorter shifts that range from 3-5 hours a few times per week. Otherwise my schedule is free and I'd love to fill my time with hanging out with your fur or scale babies!! All pets welcome, I have experience with most! :) I have one kitty currently who is always cozy in my bed or eating her fancy food from her bowl that must always be full! Lol! About: Since I was thirteen, I have stayed home alone while my parents went to work, up to twelve hours on certain days. I have consistently been an owner of five or more dogs at a time, and I would always manage their meals, potty breaks, and everything in between. I am currently unemployed, so I have my entire days to spend taking care of your dog(s). I only keep my weekends to myself, but all day on weekdays are perfect. Whenever I have cared for my dogs, I always took a low-key, chill approach. As long as I know the dogs' tells for wanting to go to the bathroom, as well as general mealtimes, I usually sit with the dogs, give them pets and playtime, and they are generally happy with that.

“Our original sitter cancelled on us after we were already on our plane. Rover contacted several sitters on our behalf and Emma responded right away. She was communicative and patient as we tried to figure everything out! She was able to get to our house within a few hours and stay three nights with our dog. He was happy and safe when we got home and we are so grateful that we found her!”

About: Im used to being around different dogs my whole life I’ve had my own dog for three years. I’ve also taken care of dogs for my friends and family. Right now I am not working since and I’m only 18 so I’m available whenever you need me unless it’s when I’m busy and doing something. I care for my pets by having a lot of toys so if they want to play with there toys they can also I walk them so they get the exercise they need.

About: I have had or been around animals of one kind or another since I was born. I learned at a younger age of about 8 to address Dogs and treat them with respect. Over the years I also learned from one of my aunts how to communicate with them because she is a Dog breeder in another state. Also for Cats I have read many books and trained 3 to behave in a manner, like no jumping in the counter, and sit and stay, to build more bonding. I currently own 4 rescue animals, 2 dogs and 2 cats. I also have a couple years of experience with bunnies, I used to own 40 in highschool and show some at the 4H program. Also owned ferrets (2 year in highschool). I work full time but only work a 4 hour shift on Saturday and Wednesdays so that gives me spare time on Wednesday mornings and evenings and the weekends I can work with whatever routine the pet parent has for their dog with some love and play while the parents are away. Will follow instructions on when to feed and what to feed. Including special diets! Play can be anything from going for a walk, playing tug-o-war with a toy, catch and fetch or just pets and cuddling.

“Edward did a great job for us. He and our dog Buddy got along famously, and he was especially diligent about keeping us informed about Buddy’s time with him. Edward stayed with Buddy for five days and kept us up-to-date throughout. Additionally, the house was left in perfect condition. We will certainly use Edward for our next trip away.”

About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday. I have been around pets for a long time and feel I am able to pick up on signs if anything might be wrong with your furry friend.
